"I jinxed it didn't I?" Otis nods with a smile as he drops my cup of soda. ON PURPOSE! "(Y/n), always going and fucking things up!" I scold myself. Otis walks up behind me, grabs my tied together wrists and hauls me to my feet causing me to stumble a little.
He starts dragging me down a hallway but I plant my heels on the ground. "Ya' know you might not wanna kill me just yet-" Otis continues to drag me down this hallway. "-As I told you before I have a lot of people after me and they'd prefer to get me back alive." Just then Chop Top walks out of one of the many doorways and stands in our path. "Hey Otis! Create any new 'art' recently?" I peek my head around Otis and see Chop Top! "Chop Top! Wait you know him?" "You know ?" He says pointing at Otis with an expression I can't quite read. It mostly conveys confusion, disbelief and a little bit of... Disgust? I nod happily with an idiotic grin.
"Yes we know each other!" Otis yells in an irritated tone. "I'll take Kim back now." Chop Top says grabbing my arm and pulling me toward him. "You mean (Y/n) and no, she's my torture toy." Otis says pulling me back to himself. 'What did he just-?' "Pff! She only said her name was (Y/n) because she doesn't trust you with her real name, Kimarashe!" Chop Top replies tugging me back with a little more force. "(Y/N)!, Would only tell you that so you don't go around saying her real name everywhere every two seconds. '(Y/n) this! (Y/n) that!' It'd completely blow her cover!" Otis sharply remarks harshly pulling me back to him. "Cover for what?!" "She's being chased down by other killers numb-nuts! Specifically Slashers!" Chop Top opens his mouth about to say something but doesn't say anything. Otis rolls his eyes and pushes past Chop Top.

Otis storms down the hallway into a living room like area dragging me behind him. "Now wait just a second!" Chop Top proclaimed grabbing me by my arm again. "I brought her home so WE'RE bringing her to dinner!" "Well I knocked her out!" "I found her!" "I carried her here!" "That's because you couldn't mind your goddamn business! I was this close!" Chop Top holds up his hand to show how close. "But you mucked it all up!" They both stop and just glare at each other. Then I hear a screen door open in the next room. I peek my head around Otis and see a man with a leather? mask? walk into the house carrying a girl over his shoulder.
Otis looks over at the door and sighs in annoyance. "Great now he knows (Y/n)'s here!" "He was gonna know anyway cuz we're bringin' her to dinner!" "Oh would you shut up with that crap!" The man in the kitchen with the leather? mask places the girl on a hook and walks out here to see what's going on between them.
"What's going on with those two?" Baby says walking into the room stretching. The man with the leather mask shrugs. "Hey Bubba." She says in a chill voice. 'Bubba', as she called him, replies with a small wave. Guess he doesn't talk much.
"Dinner." "Art." "Dinner!" "ART!" "What HELL are those boys yellin' about?!?!" "Something about art!" Baby shouts to whoever's upstairs. "Something about dinner!" I also shout, still somewhat loopy. "Sounds normal..." "What one goddamn mother fucking second! Who was that other voice?!" Then there's loud footsteps rushing down the stairs and a man appears at the bottom of the stairs. "That's (Y/n)," Baby states "Chop Top found her at the side of the road, Otis knocked her out and now you're arguing about wether she should be art or food." "Can't even fucking share..." He mutters to himself. "I say we vote!" Another new voice?! How many people live here?! I turn to the front door and see a clown. "Where the fuck did you come from?" Otis exclaims. "The front door." "Raise your hand if she should be dinner." Baby says. Chop Top and the man from upstairs raise their hands. "Raise your hand if she should be art." The clown and Otis raise their hands. "And raise your hand if she should live." Baby and the man with the leather mask raise their hands. "It's a tie."

Wishful Cultivation
First offered three wishes by a bizarre entity, Alex soon finds himself thrust into a grand world of mages, cultivators, and powerful demonic beasts. Follow our MC as he tries to find his way in a world of wonder and peril. What To expect: A generally rational MC, with some cheat abilities that still require him to grow to survive. I've got a rough idea where I want this story to go, but characters have a way of driving stories in directions you'd never expect. Writing is a fun pastime for me, and every once in a while I'm inspired to share what I put down on paper. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

A Castle in a Teacup
One might say that to anger forces beyond the ken of fragile breakable mortals is a bad idea, others might say that meddling in dark forces with little chance of gain is also a bad idea, they would both be right by on all counts but they forget to mention also how incredibly stupid combining both of those things are. Stupid people don’t last so long on the mystic side of things, normal folks who wander over to the other side have a tendency to do one of two things, either A. figure out that the best thing to do is keep their head down and not draw attention from any entity that refers to humanity as “you mortals” , or B. something horrifying happens to them. As you may have guessed I fell into the second category, mostly because I thought there was a third option. See I though there must be an option C, an option where I got to end up not as some shitty back ally wizard cowering at the chance of discovery, praying that one of my wards or spells wouldn’t be noticed by something that goes bump in the night. No I would be the one who rose above all that. I would never have to be afraid. Well I made a good attempt at it that’s for damn sure, but unfortunately for me it turns out there is not an option C. At least not for me…

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
