As I standing in front of my locker, while getting ready for my first period, a small voice pumped in my head.

There are no students loitering in the hall way and as I look on my watch, guess what? I'm early of about 20 minutes.

'Avalane'

Again, whose voice owns that?

Then suddenly, different voices strike my eardrum that caused me to look around and search for the owners but no one's here yet. I closed my eyes and try to relax myself a little.

Maybe I am just hallucinating.

'You're not hallucinating. Go help her.' The voice pumped again, and this time I replied to whoever it is.

'Who are you? And who is it that I need to help?' I asked.

'Just hurry up and go Avalane' This time, the voice is little peachy, heck like I care.

But should I go there?

'Go there Avalane, trust me' I turned around again, biting my lips because nobody ever talks to me.

Unless...

'I am not physically with you yet, but you and I are one.'

And then it clicks as my eyes got widen when I realized what is happening.

"A-are y-you?" I stuttered.

' Yup, I am Althea and I am your wolf.' Her voice now sounds chirpy while I'm dumbfounded.

"How? That's impossible! I can never have a wolf as they said, everyone said, that's why I am omega." I explained to her.

"Nah, I'm with you since you were born, just I can't show myself, for now. Need to wait for the right time." She explained and my lips shaped like an 'O'.

I was slightly discombobulated for what she told me.

"It's hard to explain now, but you have to go there before it's too late." She ordered. I got ready and followed the sounds. My feet move fast and my senses become more clearer now.

To my surprise, the voices came near the woods. I sniffs the air, and my eyes land to a group of boys, five in total and they circling a blonde girl.

I knew her, she's a pack member but the boys barely I know. They might be from other pack.

I ran quickly towards them and stepped in front of her.

"Stop! What you are planning to do with her?" I asked nervously, I know I will be in trouble, but I can't allow them to hurt her.

All of them raised their eyebrows and smirked at me.

"How dare you to disturb our game?" He's tall, around 6'2" with big muscles, the one who's talking to me.

' Althea, what should I do next?' I nervously asked in my mind.

'Just relax, calm yourself and tell them to back off.' She said calmly, while I'm thinking if I should follow her.

Goddess, I never been in this situation before.

"S-see, she's just a g-girl and ..whatever you want to do with her, I'm telling you to back off." I stuttered but proud that I finished to utter those words.

"Ow, so you want to take her place then?" Two boys started to step towards me, with devil's smile on their faces.

Panic consumed me but it's only for a while because Althea takes over my body and darkness swallowed me.

Althea give back the control on my body. When I opened my eyes, the boys were nowhere to be found, except her.

'What the hell happened?' Trying to reach Althea, but she blocked me out. Suddenly I felt the girl presence in front of me.

"Hey, are you alright? Thank you, for saving me." She has bruises on her arm, the boys probably dragged her roughly to bring here.

Her lips are trembling and who will not be? I just nodded to her and start to get up.

"I'm alright, I'm Avalane by the way." I offer my hand to her. She returned the gesture and smile back at me.

"I'm Olivia."

"Mind if I ask why they did this to you." Pointing to her bruises. She sighs, while I am trying to check her arms if she got some other wounds. Soon she pulled back her arms like she felt hot from my touch.

"Your hand is burning, Avalane." She said, and frown formed into my forehead. How could I have a burning hands? However, my eyes got big, not because of what she said but because her bruises are all gone, like they never been there before.

"Oh my God, how did you do it?" She asked while looking at me intently. I returned back the gaze but Even me don't know the answer.

"I don't have idea, actually, I don't remember what happened." I said to her truthfully.

"My wolf took over and all was in black. When I opened my eyes no one is here except you."

"Really? Because to tell you honestly, you're a badass. You kicked their asses and beat them into pulp. You moved so fast like a wind and I never saw any warrior fought like that before." She blurted out, leaving me dumbfounded again.

"And before they run for their life, you command them to forget everything that happened here." She added, I made a mental note to ask my wolf later, until now she didn't answer my call.

The bell rings but before we go.

"Olivia, can you promise me not to tell anyone about this?" She nodded.

"Your secret is safe with me." Then we both ran fast towards our school.

As we get near to our room, Althea suddenly came back and started to jump in my head, like crazy. I want to scold her but stop when my nose hit the most intoxicating scent of my life.

It's citrus and scent after the rain. My wolf hummed in my mind and when I opened the door, she stopped humming and utter the word that I thought would never hear in my whole life.

Who is none other than the Future Alpha of our Pack, the pack.

He's sitting at the back of the class. I could see that his emerald green eyes staring at me intently, checking every part of me, as I did the same.

He has clean-cut brown-black hair, pointy nose, pink plump lips and sharp chiseled jaw.

His expressive green eyes keep gazing at me which daring me to look away at the same time.

And just like that, my stomach twist.

I felt sick, that was after I noticed a hand gripping on his arm.

He's already in relationship.

My heart beats so fast inside my chest in a manner that I couldn't explain.

As sickening as it sounds, my mate is an Alpha and I am an Omega.

His scrutinizing look was gone, as if he doesn't feel the connection I'm feeling right now.

I started to step back, turned away and ran, I heard Olivia calling out my name but I ran as fast as I could.

I cannot be there.

I need some air because I'm suffocating.

I kept on running until I reached our house which located near the pack border. My heart still beating so fast and I couldn't calm down. Tears brimmed my eyes that I tried to contain, as I don't like to cry whatever the situation is.

My life is not so pleasant to begin with.

I was an abandoned child and my adopted parents found me at their doorsteps.

They can't have a child and they were overjoyed when I came to their life.

"We cannot do anything Althea." I told her as she whined inside my head. I explained that he can't be with us because we're just omega, but the wolf keep telling that we're not, which I cannot comprehend.

"Avalane, he's our mate, he will love us." I was stunned by her, how could she say that, doesn't she know what she trying to say? Who will want us as a mate.

He is an Alpha for crying out-loud.

I wanted to tell her that, but I chose to shut my mouth as she wouldn't understand.

When I entered our house, I found my parents sitting at the kitchen.

They're old couple now, they can't do any heavy works to earn money so I asked them to just stay in our house and let me take the responsibility to feed our family. Luckily I got a job as waitress in a Cafe.

"Ava, why are you here? You suppose to be in school, right?" my mom looked at me while my father pulled out a chair and motioned me to sit down between them.

"I'm not feeling well today, I felt dizzy and my head hurts." That's true, I feel a throbbing pain across my head as if a tight band is around it.

"What happened?" She asked and I told them everything from the start, except that I found my mate.

After I finished, their eyes got widen and both of them can't look straight in my eyes.

"It doesn't make sense Mom, Dad. How come I got a wolf when they said I can't have because of our status." My eyes never leave theirs, knowing that they might have answers.

Suddenly my father stood up and went to their room, I looked at my mom, wondering, when all of the sudden I felt an excruciating pain all over my body.

My skin is stretching out and fur started to grow, my bones cracked as I dropped my body on the floor.

After a few minutes, I was on all fours and saw that my hands and feet became paws. I whined and looked at my mother.

I can see myself from her eyes.

I am a white wolf and have a crescent moon on my forehead.

She lead me to our mirror and saw that I have bloody red eyes and I'm a huge.

Wow.. I looked stunning.

My father ran towards me and he looked dumbfounded.

He crouched down so that his head is in level with me.

I licked his face and he laughed.

Few moment later, he asked me to shift back. I asked Althea how to do it and she said just think about my human form.

I think about my long brown wavy hair, my hazel eyes, button nose and plump lips. I heard my bone cracks and I started to shift to human again. My mother grabbed a shirt and put it on to me.

I lift my head up and saw their lips with smile.

"Ava, you have a very beautiful wolf." My father muttered.

"How? Still I don't understand."

"It is not impossible my child." My mother said.

"What do you mean mom."

"Maybe it is the right time for you to know a story, your story." My dad intervenes, I didn't say anything, just I wait for them to tell me all.

"We lied to you when we said that we found you at our doorstep, well not exactly like that, but so was your mother." I was stunned, so they knew my mother?

"The weather was bad that night, it was stormy night and when we're about to sleep, a knock heard on our front door. I asked your father to go and check and when he opened, there was a young woman, carrying a child in a blanket. We asked her to come inside so that nobody will see her. That time our patrol was not on high alert because of the weather, so she faced no problem crossing our pack. She told me that she can hide her scent, that's why she passed our border." So, my mother is a special wolf?

I murmured, while she continue to tell the rest of the story.

"As I remembered that time, she looked very anxious. We asked her what happened to her and how she came to our pack. She told me directly that she needs our help. She wants us to take good care of you and owned as ours. We are both shocked at that time. She informed us that your life is in danger. Someone wants you and she can't allow that to happen."

"And then, she starts to tell her story. She said that she came from the bloodline of white wolf, she explained to us that only the first born girl, inherit the genes. She added that she is a white wolf, and so are you." My mom declared.

"We, at that moment, don't know anything about white wolf as we are just a omega of this pack. She informed us that you will become a very powerful white wolf because your father is an Alpha. Your existence was not a secret that time and being the first-born child and girl, a lot of greedy and evil kind will want you for their own selfish doings. Your mother said that your father was hurt too much when they agreed to send you away. Nobody knows their plan about sending you away." I can't breathe but I tried to take in all.

"But why here? Why she was sent me here?" I asked her.

"Because she can see the future Ava, she had a visions of you being here, with us in the Blood moon Pack and that you will be safe with us until you reached your right age." My mouth shaped like an "O" of what she said.

"I didn't ask her more as I believed her. No one knows about us being childless. And she could just gave you to other rich family, so why us?" She has a point though.

"And your mother gave me this." My father handed me a jewelry box. I opened it and found a necklace, a crescent shaped with wolf inside howling in full moon.

"She said that it is yours and only a White wolf can wear it." I took it and noticed that it was made of pure silver. How come it didn't hurt me?

"Well because it is yours." Althea replied quickly in my head.

"It is much better my child that nobody can know of what we've told you, for your own safety as we can't risk your life to be in danger." Her voice trembling. She's worried and I understand.

"I promise Mom, but did she mentioned which pack she was."

"She didn't mentioned, just said that it would be better that we didn't know for your own good." My father answered.

I looked at him and nodded my head. I feel their sincerity, however it makes me wonder where is my true pack is. My head is killing me so I decided to take a rest because tonight I have some work at the cafeteria.

I kissed my parents and went inside my room. I curled up myself in my bed and let me fall in deep sleep.
