《Werecat Protector: TVD/TO》Pregnant Homecoming
Advertisement
It's been eleven days since the bonfire. Imarina is now twenty eight weeks pregnant and is so over it. But the doctor won't induce her until she's thirty two weeks which is when triplets are usually born. Anyway while everyone has been playing on how to kill Klaus with Mikael. Imarina and Jackson has been focusing on her pregnancy & their home.
But Imarina knows Klaus' life is in danger. She's told him to be wary and not to return to town alone. Also made Jackson promise to go look after him until Mikael is dealt with. Which hopefully will be soon. Rebekah is making Imarina go to homecoming with her tonight though.
(Salvatore Boarding House) Third Persons POV
"So what about the werecats?" Stefan asks.
"There are werecats here?" Mikael demands.
"Yes, two of them. On protects Elijah and the other us. But ours is heavily pregnant" Damon states.
"Then they shouldn't be an issue. When it comes to werecats, their prides safety takes priority. Though they say otherwise" Mikael states. "Besides we're going after Klaus, not Elijah. So it shouldn't care anyway" he adds.
(Time skip) Imarina's POV
I was getting ready for home coming when I felt a pain in my chest. I gasp holding it. "Are you ok?" Jackson asks me concerned.
"Yes, but I think Rebekah has been daggered. One of our cubs is diffidently a cheetah" I tell him.
"Well we can't do anything about it now, Klaus is going to your home coming with his hybrids. And home coming has been moved to the Lockwood mansion" he tells me.
"Great" I say as I put my necklace on.
"I don't think you should go" he tells me.
"Jackson, we've had this conversation" I remind him.
"That was before Rebekah was daggered" he states. "Now you won't have anyone to watch over you. While I'm watching Klaus" he tells me.
"I'll be fine Jackson" I assure him. "Besides, I'll stay inside where Mikeal won't be able to get me. I won't die like Akima did" I state.
"Just please promise me, you won't go anywhere alone. You'll stay out in the open" he pleads.
"I promise" I assure him and give him a kiss. "Are you ready?" I ask him. He nods his head and we leave. He drives us to the Lockwoods. Where we're greeted by Klaus and Tyler. I notice the party already in full swing.

"You look ravishing little cat" Klaus tells me. "When are they due?" he asks me.
"Four weeks, but I'm praying thy come early" I tell him.
"It's something we wanted to discuss with you" Jackson tells him.
"We shall discuss it tomorrow" he tells us.
"My mom would seriously freak if she saw all these people here" Tyler tells us.
"Your mother won't be a problem: I compelled her to go to church and pray for your friends" Klaus tells him.
"What are you talking about?" Tyler asks confused.
"Of course they leave you out of plans now" I say not surprised.
"I want you to look around. There is Bonnie, there is Elena and Matt and there's your pretty little girlfriend Caroline" Klaus tells Tyler. "Epic dance was wrecked tonight and who came through with the party? You did. What a pal. But who are all these other people here?" he asks pointing at the hybrids.
"I have no idea. I've never seen half these people in my life" Tyler answers.
"That's because I've invited a few dozen friends of my own. That's my friend Mindy, picked her up along the way in Kansas. Did you know that there's an entire bloodline of werewolves in the heartland? That's Tony from North Dakota and let's not forget the Seattle contingent" Klaus explains pointing out a few.
"Are those people all hybrids?" Tyler asks shocked.
"Yes, I smelt them as soon as we entered" Jackson tells him.
"Same" I add.
"Well, they also love a good party. And they, like you, were sired by me. They wish to serve their master. So if anyone should so much as make a move against me, they may feel obligated to retaliate" Klaus explains. "You're free to warn your friends" he adds before walking away.
"See you later Imarina" Jackson tells me. I nod and kiss him before he followed Klaus.
"You might want to send Caroline away" I tell Tyler. "Don't worry, she doesn't know anything. I don't know the plan either. Sort of been left out of the loop since I came back pregnant" I state. "But I know they are making a move on Klaus tonight. Which is why I'm having Jackson watch him" I add.

"I'll get her and Matt out" he tells me "Please try to stop the others" he adds before leaving. What does he expect me to do? I'm twenty eight weeks pregnant with triplets I think to myself. Speaking of triplets we finally found out the tiger is a male. We'll be naming him Pyro.
Anyway I go to the living room and sit down relaxing. I get a text from Jackson about fifteen minutes later. The attempt is happening now. I go to the front hall and watch. Jackson appears beside me and I give him a pointed look. 'Do no worry' he mouths to me.
I nod my head trusting him and we focus on Klaus as he talks with Mikael. "I'm calling your bluff, father. Kill her" Klaus tells him and I notice Mikael holding a doppelganger and smirk. No doubt he thinks it's Elena and it's not.
"Come outside and face me, you little coward. And I won't have to" Mikael tells him.
"My whole life you've underestimated me. If you kill her you lose your leverage. So go ahead. Go on. Kill her. Come on, old man. Kill her. Kill her!!!" Klaus shouts. Mikael just laughs at him.
"Your impulse, Niklaus. It has and will forever be the one thing that keeps you from truly being great" Mikael tells him. Mikael stabs Katherine with a dagger and pulls it out. She falls to the floor, faking her death.
Mikael laughs as Klaus looks on shocked. Damon rushes up behind Klaus, twists him around and stabs the White Oak Tree dagger into his stomach. Katherine gets up from the floor. Jackson wraps his arms around me. "Trust me" he whispers in my ear.
Damon is about to stake Klaus, when Stefan knocks him off of Klaus and holds him down. The stake is on the floor. "What are you doing?!" Damon demands glaring at Stefan. Klaus takes the stake jumps at Mikael and drives it through Mikael's heart; he bursts into flames and dies. "What the hell did you do?" he asks as Stefan lets him up.
"He's earned his freedom" Jackson states as we join them. Klaus looks at Stefan.
"Thank you my friend. You no longer have to do as I say. You're free" Klaus tells him. UN-compelling him as Damon left. Stefan then left.
"Now what?" I ask Klaus.
"We reunite my family" he says with a smile.
"I look forward to seeing Elijah again" Jackson states.
"I can't wait to meet the others" I add.
"Same" he agrees. We follow Klaus to the cars. We follow him as we drive to a warehouse.
"Did you tell him about Rebekah?" I ask him.
"No, I never got a chance" he tells me sheepishly. "We'll tell him at the warehouse" he assures me. I agree and we soon arrive. Klaus is talking to Stefan on the phone.
"Let bygones be bygones, trust me. Resentment gets old" Klaus tells Stefan over the phone. We approach a truck, the one that carries his daggered siblings around. Jackson opens the truck; it's empty; the caskets are all gone. "No" Klaus growls. "What are you doing?" he demands. "I will kill you and everyone you've ever met" he threatens. Before hanging up.
"What can we do?" I ask him.
"Nothing, my hybrids and I will handle it" he states.
"But, I'm your protector and Jackson is Elijah's. We can help" I tell him.
"You're very pregnant Imarina and Jackson's mind won't be fully focused on the task" Klaus states. "I can handle with Stefan" he assures me.
"We were hoping we could take a few years off to raise our cubs for awhile" Jackson tells him.
"We'll discuss it once I have my family back" Klaus states. "Besides, that's a conversation you have to have with Elijah. And one I have to have with Imarina" he adds. We nod our heads. Jackson and I go stay at a motel for the night. While Klaus went to brief his hybrids on the situation regarding his family.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.

Heartbreak Town (COMPLETED)
Reagan Renne Walker left the tiny town that she grew up in in Wyoming five years ago to fulfill her dream of opening an equine therapy ranch in Montana & to start a new life. Reagan's parents died when she was just seven years old. Mallory, Reagan's older sister, was still too young to care for both herself and her sister. As a result, Reagan and Mallory were forced to live with their grandparents. Mamaw and Papaw Walker sent both girls through school and college. Reagan never imagined leaving Wyoming. However, after her unexpected relationship with Swayde, her childhood best friend, and love of her life, took a turn for the worst, all Reagan could think about was that she couldn't get out of Wyoming fast enough. Swayde is your typical, rugged cowboy. His smile was enough to melt any girls heart, his eyes made it seem like the sun was always shining, even in the worst storm, his square jaw line accented his dark beard, his body thick with muscles. His physical features and build were intimidating at times, and didn't always match his laid back, easy going, gentlemanly personality. Swayde never thought he would fall for feisty Reagan, and even more so, Reagan never thought that she would fall for him. They end up in this unexpected whirlwind relationship, and everything is hunky dory until Reagan finds out a secret from Swayde's past that would forever change the way she looked at him; a secret he kept from her for over ten years. Confiding in her grandma, Reagan finds out that her grandparents knew the secret all along too. How could the people she thought loved her hurt her so bad and keep this big of a secret from her for so long? When tragedy strikes back in Wyoming, Reagan is forced to move back to the town she swore she would never step boot in again, thus leaving her new life in Montana behind. Through God, can Reagan find a way to forgive the people who hurt her, or will she forever consider Alpine Ridge "Heartbreak Town?"
