《Soulmates/ Jolby》Chapter eight

Colby is growling while he holds Kat as she cries on the floor. He is going to kill whoever took his family, not only because they took his mate but because they made Kat cry. He hates when Kat cries; she's always so bubbly and happy, and it's weird to see her so sad.
"Shh. We'll get them back, K." Colby whispers in her ear while he rocks her back and forth.
Kat's breathing finally become normal again, and she has stopped her crying. Instead of a sad face, there is a determined look in the girl's eyes, and Colby can tell that she is finally ready to go out and search for the others.
Everyone gets everything that they will need such as, extra clothes and food; just Incase they might need it later.
"Let's go." Colby says while he's holding Kat's hand.
Jake is terrified, but at the same time he's not worried; he knows Colby will find him. It's been about an hour since they all woke up (Jake s not for sure though since they don't have a clock wherever they are) and they haven't seen whoever has taken them.
"Man, how are we going to get out of this shit?" Jake jumps when he hears Sam's voice.
"Colby and the others will come for us." Jake says while keeping his arm around Sarah.
Sarah has had her head on Sam, and Jake's arm around her waist. Both boys think that she finds comfort in the pack bond that they all have now, and the closer she is, the less scared she is.
"Jake, we don't know that for sure. Think about this logically, how are we going to get out of here if they never come?" Sam says with a bit of agitation in his voice.
Jake feels tears threatening to come out when he says, "Don't say that, Sam. I can still feel Colby. He's still alive, I know it."
Sam, noticing that Jake is getting upset, grabs Jake's hand and gives it a squeeze.
"I know. I'm sorry I got you upset." Sam says lightly, almost a whisper.
Jake smiles at his old friend and says, "it's okay, Sammy."
The two boys, and Sarah, jump when they hear the metal door open. Sam and Jake, almost like it's an instinct, wrap their arms around Sarah. Jake takes in the two men who just walked in, their skin is pale and their eyes are almost a black color, they look as if they are void of any life.

"Good morning! Sam. . . Sarah. . . And Jake." The man on the right says.
"How do you know our names? Who are you?" Sam almost yells.
"A little birdy told us that you guys are part of the Brock Pack, yes?"
"Colby didn't tell anyone about his pack! It's only just been official." Jake says with a glare.
"Ahh. The Alpha mate." The man smirks at Jake.
Jake's eyes widen. "There is no way you know that."
"Like I said, a little birdy told me." He smirks again.
"Would you like to meet her?" He asks them with a sinister look in his eyes.
The boys watch as the man snaps his fingers, and the door opens again. This time two more men come in with a girl who is struggling in their hold. Instantly, the boys knew who it was.
"Xepher? Is that you? You're the one who is spying on us?" Sam asks while barely being able to breathe.
"I'm so sorry! H-He made me." She cries.
"I didn't make her do anything she didn't already want to do." The man says with a smile.
"And what exactly do you guys want with us?" Jake asks hesitantly.
"Well, we're going to change you of course! Make you one of us." The man eyes Sarah and adds, "Well, not the little one. She's already a werewolf. We might just eat her."
Jake tightens his hold on Sarah when the man says this.
"You won't touch her." Jake growls out.
The man shows a look of anger when Jake does this.
"You told me they haven't mated yet! You said he was unmarked and unmated!" The man yells at Xepher.
"I thought he was, sir!" She cries back.
The man walks over to Xepher and snaps her neck , she falls to the floor. The boys and Sarah are shocked. Sam and Jake are both trying to hold back their tears.
The man looks back at Jake and stalks over to him. "I guess we'll just have to eat you, too. Or would you like to be like your friend over there." He smirks at him while pointing his finger toward Xepher. He then looks at Sam and adds, "and I guess you'll be the only one being marked." He grins.
"Let's begin, shall we?"

Colby is currently tracking the scent of Sam and Jake. The rest of the Pack are behind him, except Kat. Kat has stayed at his side the whole time, and Colby is thankful for that.
"I think we're getting to the end, because the scents are getting stronger." Colby yells to the others.
Just as he says this, the group stumble upon a cave that looks like it was man mad.
"Who wants to go into the creepy hole first?" Corey laughs a bit.
Colby starts for the cave first, and the others follow. Colby follows Jake's scent to the back of the cave where he finds a metal door. The door looks like it's brand new. He starts to go for the knob when Kat grabs his hand.
"Wait! We don't know what's behind that door." She urgently tells him.
"Our family could be back there, K!" He says while looking her in her eyes.
Colby only moved forward when Kat gave him a nod of approval.
When Colby opened the door, he could smell Jake and the others scents. He starts to search the room, but there is no sign of his pack members.
"Where are they?!?" Colby yells while he hits the wall.
"Just breathe and we'll think about the possibilities where they could have headed." Aaron says while putting a hand on Colby's shoulder.
Colby realizes that he has to be strong for not only himself and the pack, but Kat as well. He has to be strong for her.
While calming down, Colby looks over to the wall and sees that there is an opening. He starts to walk towards it with Kat and the others trailing behind. The opening had Jake's scent all over it.
When Colby opens the door, he is shocked by the image of Sarah leaning up against Jake, both of them asleep. When the door opened all the way, Jake and Sarah both wake up with a start. Colby is happy to know that Jake and Sarah are okay, but he can't help but think, where is Sam?
"Where's Sam?" Kat asks next to him.
"Th-They took h-him." Jake replies while barely being awake.
Colby snaps out of his shock and rushes forward to Jake and Sarah and gives them both a hug. Colby gives Jake a kiss on the cheek when he pulls away from the hug.
"Thank god you both are okay, but who is they, and where did they take Sam?" Colby says.
Jake gets up, and walks over to Kat and says, "He's Okay. But. . ." Jake turns around and faces everyone, "They, the vampires, are planning on turning him into one of them."
Once these words are said, Colby growls; his wolf trying to come out. Jake wraps his arms around him and Colby calms down a bit.
"We have to find him. I think I know where they are taking him." Colby growls out.
"Where?" Kat asks with tears still on her face.
Colby walks over to Kat and holds her. "They would take him back to there little hideout. A few years ago, my dad found it. The hideout is here in LA, but it's dangerous to go up there." Colby explains.
"We don't care, we just want our Sam back." Sarah says with tears in her eyes. She runs up to Kat and they comfort each other.
"And we will, Pup. But it's dangerous for you and the others to go up there. And Kat? You're definitely not going. Sam would kill me if I let you go." Colby says.
"Then who goes?" Aaron asks from the other side of the small room.
"Only me." The whole room erupts with disagreements.
"I am the Alpha! I will do what I think is right, and this is right." Colby says with his Alpha voice.
The room goes silent, but everyone still have faces of disagreement.
"Okay, Alpha." Sarah says from her spot in Kat's arms.
"I'll bring him back, Guys." Colby says.
Colby takes in his pack before he leaves for the hideout. Colby realizes that he would do anything to protect them.
Colby gives Jake and his girls a kiss on the head before he changes into his wolf form, and for the mountains.
As the others are leaving the cave, all of there heads snap up to the sound of their Alpha howling, far off in the woods, his goodbye to his pack.
