《Soulmates/ Jolby》Chapter twenty

"Corey, stop that! Sam if you don't stop drinking that poor deers blood in front of everyone, I will hurt you! Jake, stop yelling in Aaron's face; you're scaring him!"
This is what Colby walks into after going to get his camera. Kat is currently yelling everyone to stop acting like children, except Sarah the actual child. Finding the scene amusing, Colby watches for a few short seconds, but decides he should intervene.
"Hey!"
The living room goes silent, and the alpha struts forward giving everyone in the room a stern look. Most of the pack coward away, all except Jake. Colby instantly takes note of this.
Colby raises his eyebrow and smirks at his mate, "Problem, Little Mate?"
Jake looks his Alpha mate in the eyes, and sees them a vibrant shade of red. The younger boy visibly gulps, realizing his mistake. Jake turns his head to show off his mark, instantly submitting to his dominant alpha mate.
"Sorry, Alpha. It will never happen again." The boys voice is strained, but not from terror.
Jake can't help but think about how attractive Colby is when he's in full alpha mode. The thoughts of what will come tonight makes the younger boys legs wobble.
"Good. I'll deal with you later." Colby growls, passion in his eyes.
Before Jake could have the chance to fall to his knees, Colby moves away and starts to explain what will happen during the video.
"No one will show their face. We will simply just have Kat say the spell and end the video. Elton and I did a bit of research and found out that you can cast a spell from a far; as long as the words are said right we're good." Colby finishes with a simple nod.

Everyone moves over to one side of the room while Reggie and Kat are on the other. Kat is getting herself ready, practicing the spell over and over again.
Finally, everything is ready and Reggie moves over to the others. Colby watches as Sam walks over to the camera and hits record. Everyone watches as Kat says the spell, and the flashes of light come out of her hand. The camera is soon turned off by Sam after the spell is done.
"Okay, great! I'll upload this right now." Colby says, going over to his computer.
Colby uploads the video to YouTube, instagram, Twitter, and more. Everywhere that it could be seen, it was uploaded to. The pack watches as the alpha shuts his computer and looks up to his family.
"No one should get on their phones for a bit, the fans will wonder why I uploaded that. Anyone up for a movie night?" Colby smiles.
"Me!" Sarah yells, going for her favorite seat on the couch.

Everyone is cuddled up watching the movie that is on the tv, but Colby can't help but think about if the spell worked.
'What if it didn't work, and everyone is turning crazy right now?' Colby thinks to himself.
Jake, noticing Colby's stressed look, leans over to whisper in his ear.
"Just go check, Colbs."
At those words Colby gets up, excusing himself to the bathroom. The alpha runs up the stairs and toward his room. Once he is in his room with his phone in his hand, he starts to look through the notifications.
"Fan1 commented on your post: Everyone NEEDS to watch this video!!! It helps, I promise!"
"Fan2 commented on your post: wow 💛"
Colby reads comment after comment, all of them saying the same thing; it helped. The alpha runs down the stairs, a huge grin on his face. He runs into the living room where all of the pack is.

"It worked! The spell worked!" He yells.
Everyone jumps up, forgetting the movie that is still playing, and start to hug each other. Colby rushes over to Kat and hugs her.
"Thank you." He whispers.
"No need to thank me." She whispers back.
Kat pulls away and puts her hand on Colby's cheek. At this moment, Colby doesn't see Kat as the young girl she is, but as an old friend that has always been there for him. The alpha knows that he wouldn't have ever been able to do this without her, and he couldn't be anymore grateful than he is at that very moment.
Jake comes up from behind Colby and wraps his arms around him. "You did good, Alpha."
Colby smiles at Jake, "Wouldn't have been able to do it without you, without any of you." Colby says, yelling the last part to the rest of the pack.
The pack and their Alpha celebrated the whole night, grateful for every single person that is with them; and the ones who aren't. The pack is circled around the kitchen island, drinking and talking.
"Guys. . . This all started with the two most unlikely pair getting together." Sam says, a small laugh making its way out. Everyone laughs at this, and pat each other on the back.
"I love all of you." Colby says, looking at every single person in that room.
A chorus of 'we love you's' made their way to the Alphas ears. He laughs before he speaks again, "I'm afraid we have another challenge in store for us."
The group look at their Alpha worried, but motion for him to continue.
"A wedding." Colby looks at Jake, squeezing his hand.
•••
"Sam, I don't think I can do this. . ." Colby whispers.
"You got this. I'm right here." Sam replies.
"Honestly, you have nothing to worry about." Kat says from beside Sam.
Sam takes Colby's shaking hand and pulls him off of the small couch in his temporary room. The three friends make their way out of the door, and toward the two huge wooden doors down the hall. Instead of a normal wedding, Colby is meeting Jake at the doors and they will walk down together, but from the looks of it; Jake is late like always.
Colby quickly turns toward Sam, "What if he isn't coming?"
Sam is about to say something but is cut off, "Now why would I do that, Love?"
Colby turns toward the voice and finds Jake standing with Reggie and Corey next to him. The alpha smiles, taking in his handsome mate.
"You look. . . Wow." Colby says, lost for words.
Jake laughs at Colby's response, "You too, Colbs."
The two lovers make their way down the aisle, and stop at the end. Everyone they love is surrounding them, and they couldn't be any happier.
Once their vowels are done, Colby and Jake make their way out of the same doors they came in at. The roommates are right next to them wishing them farewell before they leave for their honeymoon.
"We'll be back in a week. Text me if you need any-" Colby starts, but stops when Jake pulls him into the car.
"Bye!" Jake waves out the window.
The pack watch as their friends leave; happy that the two men found their soulmate.
