Alexa's P.O.V

Riley's lesbian. She's originally welsh too. It's weird. I'm from Cardiff but when I was younger my parents moved here, and we left everything behind. I thought I could hear it in her muddled accent. It was adorable when she spoke, she had a strong welsh accent which was diluted because of the American's rubbing off on her. Her voice is all I wanted to hear. I wanted to know so much about her.

It made sense that she was a fully trained first aider because of the incident in my classroom she knew exactly what to do. I stared at her. I haven't seen her nervous and it was irritating me. She hasn't blushed. She smiles brightly. I can't read her. I can read people, but I can't read her.

"I see, you being a first aider is where you get your calm composure from?" Riley looked at me.

"Nope, I'm calm and collected because of my medication."

My eyes widened. It makes sense. I smiled.

Riley had a puzzled look on her face. "I've got to go. I shouldn't have told you that, I'm sorry."

I shook my head. "Hey, there's nothing wrong with accepting help when you need it."

Riley investigated her coffee again. "Mhm, but I've got to go."

I felt hurt. Why did her telling me she had medication to help her make her uncomfortable? "I'll see you after, Miss Scarlett." My heart dropped. I completely forgot she was my student.

I nodded. "I will see you later, Riley." As she rushed off she dropped her bag, she looked up at me and there was an uneasiness in her face. I helped her pick up her scattered belongings and I smiled.

"Bye." She smiled weakly. Then she darted off. I jumped back to the couch and my foot kicked something. A bottle of tablets. I looked at the label. "Riley Wood." I jumped up, but she was gone.

Well, at least I've got a good excuse to see her after class, now.
