I walked into my apartment; Yasmin was on the sofa with her boyfriend, he was on top of her half naked. Yasmin was under him just in her underwear.

"Oh my god." I shouted putting my hand over mine and Alexa's eyes.

We turned around and Yasmin shot up putting her clothes back on. "Riley! Miss Scarlett. What the fuck's going on?"

"Is it safe?" I chuckled as I turned around.

Yas rolled her eyes and gave me a look.

"Okay, I went to work. Miss Scarlett was out, and this girl started on her. She's still abit shaken up so I thought i'd invite her here for a coffee until she was okay to go home." I smiled.

I'm such a good liar when I'm put on the spot. Alexa gave me a "Thank you so much" look and I looked at Yasmin and her boyfriend. He was attractive he had blue eyes, brown hair and he was quite built.

"Are you going to introduce us?" I laughed.

Yasmin blushed. "Jacob this is my sister Riley and our teacher Miss Scarlett, guys this is Jacob." She smiled.

I could tell she was smitten. Jacob raised a hand. "Hi Riley, and hello again miss Scarlett. I have you for film studies, don't I?" he quizzed.

Alexa shot me a panicked look. She smiled "Hi Jacob, yes you do."

"Yas, can we have a word?" I smiled cocking my head towards the kitchen. She followed.

"I knew there was something going on with you and Miss Scarlett!" she chuckled. I shot her a death stare.

"What? I don't mind. She's hot and she seems nice. I feel like you two have been together for years." I smiled.

"Thanks. But Yas, I need you to convince Jacob not to tell anyone that Alexa was here."

She nodded. "Yeah, of course. Can he stay please, and can you leave the room? We're still watching a film."

I cocked up an eyebrow. "Yeah, you were really watching a film!" I teased.

"Shut up. You're home early. Pleaseeee?" she pleaded.

"Of course. Me and Alexa will go outside to the porch. I'll tell you everything later." I hugged her, and we went back to join the other two.

I made coffee's then led Alexa to the porch, we had a hammock and a hot tub outside. We had a reasonable sized garden with a rose bush acting as a border around the greenery and a BBQ on the decking. The view is nice; the city lights were amazing this time of night, I often read out here.

I led Alexa to the hammock and we lied down. I pulled her into me and she seemed calmer than she was earlier outside the bar.

"So?" I asked hoping she would be prompted.

"Riley, I need you to promise me that you won't leave me when I tell you the events that happened with my parents?"

I nodded my head as I stared at her. She was so beautiful. The moonlight shone on her hair and it had a blue tint to it and her eyes glistened. I could feel my heart rate rise.

"I promise" I whispered. I leaned in to kiss her, I could taste her coffee and her. I could smell her perfume and I could feel her body quiver. I pulled away.

"Now, tell me."
