I was waking to chemistry class when i heard someone calling my name "Y/N wait!" I turned around to find Vanessa "Hey!" I responded "Can i walk with you to class?" She asked me "Sure!" I smiled and we headed to the chemistry room "So, how have you been these past days, i heard that Quinn Fabray had an accident"

"Yeah, it was pretty scary but she is doing fine, i haven't talk to her since last week" I looked away with hurt eyes "Although i don't like her im glad she's okay"

We arrived to chemistry class and i opened the door so Vanessa could walk inside first, she just looked at me with a smirk "Thanks"

"Hey Ms Lanport" I said to her and she just smiled at me, Vanessa and i sat down on the desk that was in the back of the room.

We talked until everyone were on their sits, i was so focused on Vanessa that i didn't realize that Quinn was next to me.

"Okay silence!" Ms Lanport said and i looked at her "Today we are going to open up a dead frog, each one of you has a bag in front of you with a frog inside." Everyone was so grossed out by the dead frog except for me, i really like to study the anatomy of any living being so i just said out loud "Cool......." Vanessa turned to see me with a strange look and i just raise my hands in defense, then she giggled.

We started opening the frog and Vanessa didn't want to touch it so i just was encouraging her to do it.

QUINN'S POV

Ugh, why do Y/N and Vanessa are laughing so much, i can't stand it. I thought. They were laughing and having a great time so i just said to them "Can you two shut up?!" Y/N turned to see me and when she noticed who i was she just rolled her eyes and that made me very pissed off.

"Quinn.." Santana was talking to me but i was just to distracted by Y/N being so touchy with Vanessa "QUINN!" Santana hit my arm and i turned around "What!?"

"Why are you so mad? Don't ever talk to me like that or i will slap the hell out of you" Santana replied with a threatening look, then she looked behind me finding Y/N "Oh, i get it, you are jealous" She whispered the last part and i opened my eyes "Of course not!" I responded "Okay...... if you say so.....but just for you to be relieved you are hotter than fake butt" She mean Vanessa.

After chemistry i left the room finding Y/N with Vanessa talking next to her locker which was next to mine unluckily

I went directly to them just for me to put my books away. Who am i kidding i just wanted to interrupt them. "Excuse me" I bumped Vanessa and stood between them "Hey!" Vanessa spoke out and i just ignore her.

YOUR POV

"So breadsticks at 8 okay?" Vanessa said to me while walking away "So now you are dating her?" I heard Quinn asking "I don't have to give you any explanation of who i date" I replied "Y/N i know you are still upset and i get it, i'm sorry"

"Let's pretend we never knew each other, keep being that mean girl who throw slushies and make fun of people, it will be better that way" I slammed the door of my locker and went to the choir room.

Mr Shue started to write something in the white board *Ballad*

"Ballad, from middle english balade. Who know what this word means?" Mr Shue asked us and Rachel and Kurt quickly lift up their arms "Its a male duck" Brittany said and we looked at her with confused looks but Mr Shue kept going "Kurt."

"A ballad it's a love song" Kurt said with a sigh "Sometimes, but they dont always express love, ballads are stories set to music. Stories and music are the way we express feelings that we can't get out any other way."

I hate love songs, if i hear a love song and focus on what the lyrics says most of the times i cry... like a lot, so that's why i was hating today's class. Also i don't get why Quinn is with Finn again, like why would you get back with someone who cheated on you? Well i guess love makes us do crazy things.

"So here's our assignment for the week, im going to pair you off and i want you to pick a ballad to sing to your partner. Look them right in the eye, find the emotion you want to express and make them feel it"

"I pick Quinn" Finn said

I rolled my eyes and spoke out "Gross" Kurt and Mercedes giggled at me and Mr Shue said "No, no, no, too easy. Your partners will be chosen by fate"

"Oooooh" we said

"I put all your names in this hat, whoever you choose is your partner"

"I bet the ducks in the hat" Brittany whispered but we heard her and laughed

"Whos up first?" We all make drum noises with our hands as we saw Puck taking a paper of the hat.

"Mercedes" He said with a disappointment look and she rolled her eyes.

Then was Artie's turn "Tina" They seemed very happy with that

"Kurt" Finn said and everyone started to laugh, i just looked at Kurt. I know how hard its for him to be gay and having to be with Finn but strangely he looked very excited "Mr Shue i don't know if i could do this with another guy" Finn said "The fate has spoken Finn" Even Mr Shue sounded like he was making fun of him and i get a little bit mad. Then I got up from my chair and went to the hat, i took out a piece of paper and when i saw the name i went speechless for a moment.

"Quinn......"

I looked at her and she was shocked too "Mr Shue how about Finn and I switch partners, everyone wins" I said but he ignored my request "No Y/N, you have to stay with you partner"

"Ughhhhh" i said out loud and sat down.
