"What did I say! What did I say! And what are you saying? I was right!" Steve proudly threw his arms in the air and had a hug smile on his face. "Yeah whatever asshole." Dustin had his arms crossed and was irritated, apparently none of the other club members had made plans, because, well, they were them. Steve just kept laughing and rubbing it in Dustin's face. "Okay, I'm done, we're leaving."
Steve stopped laughing. "We? Who's we?" Dustin rose his eyebrows at the man, "uh, me and Eddie obviously. You know, the two guys in the nerdy club? Do you need to be told everything?" Steve looked at Eddie, "Henderson, didn't you ride your bike here?" Dustin's head whipped to look at Eddie. "No Eddie, I walked here. Yes! I rode my bike. But we're literally going to the same place, it's called common decency Eddie."
Steve felt himself get heartsick at the thought of Eddie having to leave so soon. He felt like they've barely spent time together, even though they've seen each other everyday for a week now. Eddie looked over to him with a questioning look and Steve gave him a small smile. "It's fine Munson, go ahead. I'll see you again eventually." Eddie tried to laugh at it, but the words actually made his heart hurt a bit. The two men had no idea why they were feeling like this, but it was weird, something they hadn't felt before. At least, not like this.
"Fine Henderson. Go put your bike in my van, I'll be out in a second." He tossed his keys to Dustin and Robin walked into the living room, trying to relieve herself of anything else she might be forced to see tonight. Eddie walked over to him and stood in between his legs. He stroked Steve's cheek and gave him a small smile. "Baby-" Steve rolled his eyes, "Munson, I'm fine. Really, okay? You get to hang out with your friends tonight and I get to hang out with mine."

"You don't seem too happy about it. He can ride to my trailer on his damn bike." Steve laughed but shook his head at the idea. "Eddie, it's fine. I've spent the last week with you. I think I can go a day without." A big smile grew on Eddie's face as he looked into Steve's eyes. "You already planning on seeing me tomorrow sweetheart?" Steve's face copied the other's smile and kicked him lightly, "maybe. It depends on how much I enjoy my time away from you." Eddie chuckled, "yeah?"
"Ye-" Eddie leaned in and kissed Steve gently, their lips molding together and moving in sync. Steve wrapped his arms around Eddies neck and put his hands into his hair, pulling him closer. Eddie chuckled against his lips and kissed him deeper, his other hand coming up beside his head on the cabinet. He pushed his tongue into the other man's mouth and Steve moaned, trying to extinguish any space between them and pulling Eddie closer.
They pulled away to catch their breath and leaned their foreheads together. Eddie chuckled, "maybe I'll sneak over tonight after Robin goes to sleep." Steve laughed with him, a big smile on his face. "I promised her you wouldn't come and you have somewhere to be Munson." Eddie groaned and put a hand on Steve's hip, "she doesn't have to know."
"Eddie!" Steve slapped his arm and laughed, "you know if I was smart, I'd say you're using me just to get in my pants." Eddie threw both hands to his heart, holding the wound that Steve had just punctured. "Well I would never! You know I like you Harrington." He kissed him softly, leaning down to his ear, "everything else is just a perk." Steve let out a sharp breath and put a hand on Eddie's chest, pushing him a step back. "Okay come on, time to go." Steve hopped off the counter and grabbed Eddie's hand, walking him to the door. "I'll see you later Munson, drive safe." Eddie rolled his eyes and leaned down, giving Steve another soft (loving) kiss. "I'll see you later Harrington." They held eye contact for what seemed like hours before Eddie shook himself out of it and kissed Steve's cheek, walking out.

The rest of the night the two men were filled with bliss. They could feel the bareness of not having the other around, but something felt different now. Steve watched movies and ate snacks with Robin all night, her informing him on all the conversations and smiles she had been sharing with Vickie, and that maybe, possibly she likes boobies. To which Steve gave her a proud 'I told you so'.
Steve couldn't stop smiling, it honestly was starting to hurt but it felt nice at the same time. Robin noticed, but left it alone for the night since they were both in good moods for once. She eventually passed out on the couch leaving Steve sitting there, smiling to himself. What is going on with me, Steve thought. He sighed and leaned in to the couch and the phone rang. "What the hell?"
Steve got up and made sure the phone didn't wake Robin up and ran to it before it rang again. "Hello?"
"Hey Harrington." Butterflies, a smile taking over his face.
"Hey, what's up? You could've woke up Robin." He heard Eddie chuckle through the phone and his stomach flipped, something he wasn't used to yet.
"Well you made me promise I wouldn't come over, and I'm not a promise breaker. But I wanted to talk to you before you fell asleep." His smile grew wider.
"Don't tell me you're falling in love with me Munson." He felt anxiety as the words left his mouth, it was meant to be a joke, he thought it was.
"Sweetheart, if I was, I wouldn't be the type of person to tell you over the phone." Steve sucked in a breath and started stuttering not knowing what to say. He heard Eddie laugh over on his side, "Jesus Harrington calm down. If that's how you're going to act at just the thought of it, maybe I'll just keep it to myself for a while." Steve stopped breathing. Does Eddie love him? Does he love Eddie? That would honestly explain what he's been feeling but, what the hell.
"Eddie-"
"No Harrington, we're not having that conversation right now. We've barely talked about the relationship as it is. And you can barely hold yourself together around me, so you're not getting out of a confrontation by doing it over the phone."
"W-. I can hold myself together around you! I am perfectly fine when you're around!"
Eddie laughed, "yeah! Totally, totally Harrington keep telling yourself that. And don't get pissy and hang up, because I won't call back."
Steve leaned up against the wall and groaned, crossing his arms. "Fine, but I still think you're wrong."
"Yeah I know, and you probably have your arms crossed and your lip out. I think it's adorable when you pout sweetheart, so don't use it to try to make me feel bad."
Steve stood up straight and uncrossed his arms, Eddie laughing hearing the rustling in the background. Steve's face had grown bright red and he was murmerring curse words to the other man. "Shut up Munson."
"You know you love me Harrington. Now go to bed, you had a long day." Steve tried his best to ignore the word, but it left a weight on his heart.
"I'll see you when I see you Munson." A yawn falling out.
"I'll see you soon baby. Don't get into to much trouble without me. Good night." Steve hung up and leaned against the wall, a big sigh falling out as his heart tried to return to a normal pace.
