《My Best friend's Sister (GxG)》Night swimming

I'm currently standing in a towel with my hair done and a full face of makeup trying to figure out what to wear. We've all been here before. I know I shouldn't be this indecisive about it, but I can't tell if this is a date or not. If it is this would be the first, and that's a big deal. I rummage through my suitcase again trying to find the perfect outfit, but nothing really catches my eye. I finally come across this royal blue satin dress, and I feel relief come over me. This dress could definitely work.
I slip on the blue dress as I analyze it with my natural face of makeup and lose curls. As the dress leaves my back exposed, the blue pops against my skin. I automatically decide to wear it and begin looking for the right jewelry and heels to match it. I slide on some bright orange heels that lace up my ankles and pair gold jewelry with it.
I analyze myself in the mirror again automatically liking what I see. The warm pool water and Jordy's lips on mine flash through my head, and I push the impulsive thoughts away. Jordy feels so different than anyone I've been with, but to be fair I've only been with one person. Still, I like the way she treats me, and it sucks that we have to keep this all hidden when everyone comes back.
"Wow,"
I hear her say from behind me, and my eyes snap to hers through the mirror. Her hair is in its usual no-part style with a white button-up tucked into tan slacks that are paired with white socks.
I turn to face her with a shy smile, "Wow to you too," I whisper before boldly grabbing her hand and pulling her into me.
"We could almost just stay here," she says as her light brown eyes capture mine, and her woodsy but sweet scent surrounds me.
"I wouldn't mind," I say honestly knowing that her company makes anywhere enjoyable.
"Don't tempt me," her eyes narrow at mine before she pulls away from our close stance.
"Since you're in blue I should probably wear my blue Nike dunks," she says as she walks to her closet and slides them on. She walks back beside me as we stand next to each other in the mirror, and a smile makes its way onto my lips.
"What?" she asks as she analyzes my face in the mirror, and I shake my head slightly.
"Nothing I just thought it was cute how we match," I say shyly and she returns the smile before allowing her hands to wrap around my waist as she pulls me into her.

"I think it is too," she agrees as she looks at our bodies embraced in the mirror.
We make it to this Italian restaurant just as the sunset begins, and I admire how elegant but homey it is. This is probably a date, right? I mean look at how we're dressed and where we're eating. Jordy opens the door of the car for me before offering me her hand, and I graciously take it. We walk into the beautiful restaurant, and a waitress seats us outside at Jordy's request.
The soft cushion seat meets my body and I automatically feel comfortable. I smooth my dress down before looking up to see Jordy's eyes already on me.
A smile tugs at her lips, "You're so beautiful," she compliments me and I feel my cheeks heat up.
"Thank you," I say in a shy manner considering I'm not that great with compliments.
"So do you like the place I chose?" she asks and I nod quickly before looking around. The sunset and the quietly conversing people allow this to feel almost like this morning. It's really nice.
"Let me get a picture of you to get you back for the one from this morning," she says and my eyebrows raise at her idea.
"What is this picture tag?" I ask jokingly and she shrugs.
"Don't put the idea out there because you know I love a good competition," she warns me with a light smile and I tilt my head.
"Well I do too," I challenge her and she narrows her eyes at me.
"What are the conditions?" she asks and I think to myself.
"Only one picture can be taken per meal we share and it has to happen after we're seated," I explain and she nods agreeably.
"Okay but I get the picture for this meal since I asked already," she says and I playfully roll my eyes.
"Fine" I agree before smiling for her picture.
"Perfect," she says before putting her phone away, and I smile at her compliment.
"What can I get you guys to drink?" our middle-aged waiter asks as he holds his book and pen in his hand.
"Could I get a bottle of wine for the table?" Jordy asks and I tilt my head at her, she's twenty? "Yes that one please," she says as I tune back into the conversation, and the waiter nods.
"Could I see an ID please?" He asks and Jordy nods with a smile.
"Of course," she says before pulling out her ID.
As the waiter walks away I eye her suspiciously, "What?" she asks confused.
"You're twenty," I whisper and she chuckles.

"Fake ID," she jokingly whispers and I make an 'Oh' face.
"When do you turn twenty-one?" I ask curiously as our eyes meet one another.
"In August," she says and my eyebrows raise slightly.
"Wow, you and Journee share a birth month," I say as I chuckle slightly.
"Except I'm the tenth and she's the thirtieth," she corrects me as the waiter comes over with a bucket that holds the bottle of wine, and two glasses. He sets it down for us before walking away.
"When's yours?" she asks curiously as she grabs the bottle before pouring the deep red liquid into our glasses.
"September fifteenth," I say and she nods as she sits my now filled glass down.
"I'll be the big one-nine," I joke before grabbing my glass.
"The in-between numbers are so weird," she admits as she grabs hers as well.
"Right it's like how big should the celebration be?" I jokingly ask and she chuckles.
"Well for you pretty big," she says honestly causing me to blush again.
"Same for you," I say as I hold up my glass and she clinks hers with mine.
We both take sips of the rich liquid as the waiter comes back over. I order spaghetti while Jordy orders a rigatoni dish, and the waiter goes to put the orders in.
We learn more about each other as the sunset surrounds us, and before we know it the food comes. We eat our delicious meals sharing our dishes with one another again while we lightly conversate. Once we finish our dishes Jordy pays, and we leave the beautiful restaurant. The sky is almost dark as we both walk to her luxurious car. She opens the door for me and I oblige slipping inside to meet the soft interior.
"So did you have a good time?" she asks as she slides into the driver's seat and turns the car on. I nod quickly as a smile is placed on my lips.
"You're gonna fill up all of my top three meals," I say jokingly and she flashes me a warm smile as her caramel eyes land on mine.
"I'll gladly do so," she says before putting the car in drive.
A Drake song plays through the car speakers as we drive on the dark roads illuminated by cars and stores. She pulls over at a grocery store causing my eyebrows to furrow.
"What are we doing here?" I question her and she turns to me in her seat.
"I thought it would be fun to get our favorite ice cream and watch a movie," she says as she exits the car causing me to do the same.
"That sounds like an amazing idea," I say with a smile as we walk into the illuminated store. She picks out a brownie fudge while I choose cookie dough.
We pay and leave the grocery store to head home. The ride home is peaceful as soft music fills the background, but thoughts seem to fill my head. Not bad ones necessarily, I just wonder...
What would life be like if we lived together? Spent all of our free time sharing our lives with one another. Having these experiences every day with her seems too good to be true. I push the thoughts aside deciding to live in the moment.
We arrive back at the house and we immediately exit the car. I slide my heels off and Jordy mimics my actions before grabbing our shoes and ascending the stairs.
"Pick out a movie and I'll be down in a second," she says and I nod before entering the living room.
I choose Tinkerbell which I feel is childish, but it's also a good movie. "Tinkerbell hm?" she says and I notice her white sleeves are now rolled up and she has two large spoons in her hands.
"It's the perfect movie," I say as she sits down next to me, and I put my legs over her lap as we both get comfortable.
"No complaints over here," she says as she hands me my cookie dough ice cream.
I open the tub, but I pause when I see a flash out of the corner of my eye, causing me to smile. I look to Jordy who grins sheepishly as she looks at her phone. "Got you," she says and I roll my eyes playfully.
"Fine you got me," I say as I take a bite of my ice cream.
"Can we at least get one together?" I ask as her caramel eyes meet mine.
"Duh," she says jokingly before turning her phone around and we both pose with our ice cream.
The back camera flashes indicating a photo has been taken, and we both look at it. "Cute," we both say in sync causing us to look at each other and laugh.
We turn the movie on before indulging in our ice cream, and we end up sharing our different flavors. Before I know it the credits are being shown indicating the movie was over.
"So symbolic," I say as I jokingly put my hand over my heart causing Jordy to chuckle at me.
A fun idea pops into my head and considering this is a rare night with us having the house to ourselves I decide to do it. Without putting any more thought into the idea, I untangle Jordy and I's bodies before heading to the back door.
"Where are you going?" she asks as her caramel eyes dart to me. I smirk at her before opening one of the back doors.
"Night swimming," I say before exiting the air-conditioned house into the warm summer air.
