"Aw, the white flowers make a heart!" Eva gushes as she looks at the bouquet resting in my hands.

My grin grows as I walk to set the flowers on the counter.

"Journee's being a hater—keep buying her flowers," Luca declares and Journee smacks his arm, "Ow!" he exclaims.

I chuckle, "While it's fun watching Journee beat up Luca, we should probably get going," I say to the group and they all nod as Journee rises from the barstool.

Journee crosses her arms, "Have her home by eleven," she orders as she points her pink manicured finger at Jordy.

Jordy raises a challenging brow, "When you say home by eleven—do you mean in bed giving her the best orgas-"

"Okay! no-no keep her out as long as you like just please don't finish that sentence," Journee groans as she cringes slightly and Jordy chuckles at her while my cheeks go bright red.

"So no curfew and a bed waiting for us when we get home—got it," Jordy adds with a mischievous grin and I nudge her side slightly as my face heats up.

Journee shakes her head, "I'm removing your bed from your room Bri," she declares and my eyes widen.

"Well, I guess I'll see you once you've washed your ears Journee," I announce with a smile causing a smile to tug at her lips.

"You kids have fun," she says earning laughs from Eva and Luca.

"You sound like a fucking dad," Luca remarks, and Eva bursts into laughter.

Journee mumbles something under her breath as Jordy guides me out of the apartment filled with Eva and Luca's laughter.

I adjust my short floral satin dress as I step onto the elevator with Jordy.

Her intoxicating scent surrounds me as I allow my brown eyes to trace her body.

She's in a white polo shirt with white pants that have cartoon characters shooting a basketball placed strategically all over them—while on her feet are white and black Nike socks with white Nike air forces.

Jordy snaps her fingers causing her gold bracelet to dangle, "Eyes up here," she teases and I feel my face grow hot as my eyes meet hers.

There are small lanterns placed around the warm-toned restaurant as green vines and flowers climb up the ceiling.

The waiter leads us to our tables as Jordy pulls the seat out for me before sitting across from me.

She squeezes my hand gently, "I love you," she adds with a smile and I feel myself grinning like an idiot.

She shakes her head as a smile rests on her lips, "You're just so fucking beautiful Bri," she says honestly and I feel my cheeks heat up.

Once the lighting lantern gets far enough up in the air Jordy pulls me gently into her side as we watch it float away above the beautiful city.
