"Hey. It's nice to finally meet you. I'm Sylvie Brett," the blonde introduced herself. Phoebe had been excited to start her first shift at the firehouse. Her god mother had made sure she knew what she was getting herself into, she didn't want her getting hurt. Phoebe had been her responsibility since her parents passed away when she was just a child.
Phoebe smiled at the blonde, "I'm Phoebe Halliwell. It's nice to meet you too. I'm looking forward to working with you."
"So am I. Follow me and I'll introduce you to the rest of the gang."
Phoebe had been on her first call that morning after she had been introduced to everyone. She already knew she'd get alone with all the girls but Matt and Kelly had already become her unofficial brothers. They had taken her under their wing as soon as she was introduced to the. Hermann had even invited her along to Molly's after their shift to introduce her to everyone else from the Chicago response team, something she was looking forward to. Phoebe had promised herself she would make the most of living in Chicago and that meant making friends.
Phoebe had noticed Gabby wasn't present while they were eating dinner so she went to go look for her. Soon she found her outside but she was talking to someone. Someone Phoebe considered quite handsome, not that she would tell him that.
"Hey Gabby. I've been looking for you. I couldn't find you at lunch," Phoebe smiled. The stranger and Gabby both looked at her. Gabby smiled whereas the stranger frowned in confusion.
"Sorry about that, Phoebe, I had to talk to my brother about some things. Phoebe, this is my older brother Antonio, he's a detective. Antonio, this is Phoebe, the new paramedic on Ambulance 61." Gabby smiled as she introduced them both to each other.

Antonio smiled at the brunette, "It's nice to finally meet you. Gabby has talked about you non stop since she found out you would be joining."
Phone chuckled, "It's nice to meet you too. All good things I hope."
Gabby laughed, "Have some faith in me. I've only talked good about you. I'm glad you joined us." And she was glad. Phoebe just fit in with the team and Gabby was glad to have a new friend.
Antonio laughed, "I don't think Gabby could talk bad about anyone. It was nice meeting you, Phoebe but I should get going." For some reason he didn't want to leave but work called.
Phoebe smiled, "It was nice meeting you too Antonio." Gabby hugged her brother and he began walking away. Phoebe couldn't help but frown, she couldn't explain why she felt drawn to him already.
Gabby smiled at her brother and new friend. Things were about to change and she just hoped they would both be happy.

An Unbound Soul
When Peter suffers a too-close encounter with a truck, he finds himself reborn in another world. At first glance it is a perfect fantasy land. There's magic to play with, elves singing in the forest and a hyperactive catgirl neighbour. There's even a System that lets him earn skills and level up. But it isn't long before he notices that the world is far too perfect. Just why is everyone so nice? Can Peter accept the alien morality of this world's self-proclaimed protector, or will he seek to overthrow her? Set after the events of A Lonely Dungeon, a few hundred years after the rebirth of civilization, this is a story about an earthling falling into Erryn's new world and the subsequent struggles of himself and Erryn to understand each other. It's a slow paced slice of life, and while there are pieces of action, don't expect any immediate grand conflict between Erryn and Peter. Published here, scribblehub and amazon. Two new chapters a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Rise of the Cheat Potion Maker, a Cultivation LitRPG saga #1
In a blink, I found myself in an unknown land, greeted by the textbox of an unfriendly system. It wanted me to become a great hero, save the world, win the love of the people and all that crap. But this new world already had a hero. Why should I bust my ass, deal with dragons and the unknown, for people I didn't know? Let him deal with that. It's his job! So instead of being tempted by the system's nonsense, I chose a simple class. Potion maker. I wasn't interested in cultivating mana and defying the heavens, courting death, none of that crap. Unfortunately, the town I spawned near was suffering crippling inflation, merchants and people were leaving, and they themselves lacked high-demand businesses. The town would soon be going under. Not if I have anything to say about it. But will it be that easy to escape fate...? Novel contains: Strong MC in a slice of life environment, dungeon diving, boss battles, cultivation and elements, mana/magic, mc exclusive system but it doesn't do the work for him, treasures, adventurers, slow world building, build-up, features that will not be introduced all at once (upgrades so on), actual good loot at the end of very powerful bosses, romance(no harem). As characters develop throughout the series, issues and emotions and even the mc may find himself in a corner or two. A story of an upcoming potion shopkeeper and his apprentices. Building an S-ranked Potion Shop is easier said than done... Current schedule:3-6 times a week- Mon, Wed, Fri.Daily chapter on Patreon. [All chapters are 3k words or more. A Fate Shaped by Magick
This fiction was (and is) published on fanfiction dot net under the same title; though as I slowly transfer it to here, I am editing and smoothing it. This story takes place in the Elder Scrolls (TES) Universe mostly ending up in Morrowind. This is a slice of life meant to answer the questions of how (in the TES universe) do mages study and learn, and exploring some of the in-game differences between TES 2 and 3. This book has minimal spoilers for the Morrowind main quest and does not fully explore it. If you think that giant insects would make cool pets - if you like the idea of exploring magic NOT intended simply as killing something better, faster or more gore-ridden, then come on in and enjoy.
