"I'm fine, Piper. Please stop worrying. Yes, I promise I will come and visit soon. Besides, it's dads birthday and I'm not going to miss it. I'm fine, I promise." Phoebe spoke to her older sister on the phone as Antonio walked into the room. He looked at his girlfriend curiously before she shook her head. "Piper, I'll call you later. I have to get ready for work." She didn't wait for her sisters reply as she hung up the phone.
"Overprotective sister?" Antonio asked with a smile as he sat down next to her.
Phoebe sighed, "Yep. I know she worries but it's still annoying. It's not like I asked to be attacked." Phoebe had been discharged the previous afternoon and had spent the day at Antonio's place with the kids while he was at work. She had forgotten to call her sisters but she knew they would worry so she put it off for as long as possible, especially with her father's birthday coming up soon.
Antonio smiled as he wrapped his arms around his girlfriend, "I know you didn't but family is family, nothing is going to change that. You can't prevent them from worrying because you would do the same. Just take the time to rest and then you can deal with your sisters." The two sat in a comfortable silence before Phoebe broke it.
"What's wrong?"
"Why do you assume something is wrong?"
Phoebe moved her head so she could look at him, "You're not very good at having a poker face, besides I grew up with siblings so I can smell the lies coming from a mile away. I know you, Antonio. You're hiding something."
Antonio sighed, "I have to go undercover for while. I've told the kids, I just wasn't sure how to tell you. I'm sorry."

"It's fine. I'm glad you took my advice and told the kids. It's fine. I'll help look after them, I'm assuming you haven't heard from Laura?" Phoebe asked. For the past couple of days Antonio had been trying to get in touch with Laura, regarding Eva's parents/teacher conference but no reply.
"Thank you. They took it rather well. I appreciate all the help you've been giving me with the kids. I've tried calling, emailing, texting, I've even called her mother but nothing. I'm starting to get worried." Antonio spoke. Despite him and Laura not being together, she was still the mother of his children and he worried about her.
Phoebe nodded in understanding, "I get it. I'm sure she'll turn up soon. Don't worry too much and focus on your assignment. I've got the kids and if anything happens, I'm sure Gabby can help."
"Eva? What are you still doing up?" Phoebe asked in shock when she walked into the kitchen to find Eva sat by the counter. The young Dawson looked like she hadn't slept.
Eva sighed, "Couldn't sleep."
"What's wrong?" Phoebe asked as she sat down next to her.
Eva sighed, "Dad told us about going undercover. I'm worried. What if something happens to him? When we didn't know what he was doing, it was easier because we didn't have to worry."
"I told him it was a good idea to tell you because you're old enough to understand what your dad does in order to help the community. I know you worry but your dad is good at his job and he has a team looking out for him. He will be fine." Phoebe tried to reassure the teenager.
Eva was silent for a moment before nodding, "Thank you. I guess I needed to hear that."
"Good, because I'm always going to be here for you." Phoebe smiled.
Eva suddenly wrapped her arms around Phoebe tightly, "Thank you."

Bow of the North
In game of thrones i felt that the Starks received way too much hardships and tragedy. i know that there were vital points of story, and there were times these hardships were building points for their characters, but i feel when every member of a family has been either killed, raped or crippled then they deserve a break. In my story that break comes in the form of a powerful hunter/general from another world. I have no intention of altering the story to save every stark, or have them win every time, and some of my favourite characters may even be victims of this plot change as well. edited The main character, and there will be several new characters introduced to the storyline, will not just be some over powered guy who makes outrageous decisions that always work out (cough Plot armour) but will be someone that treats the world as a real world and has fears, doubts and is cautious in his decisions. He is susceptible to changing his mind and character traits depending on his experiences in this life. The story will primarily follow the plot at the beginning with some minor changes, and as more things change they will increase till the entire story is changed at the end. I am not copying the world of GoT exactly. cultures, politics and nobility may be changed or made up.

A Fragmented Mind
"Hi there. My name is Richard Maddox, but my — admittedly nonexistent — friends call me Rick. I live in a world of superheroes and villains. A world filled with magic and physics-defying powers, and in this world, I'm just an ordinary, completely average 17-year-old boy. My imaginary friends, however, are as far from average as you get. You think you're good at deluding yourself? Well, stand back, because it's time for a master to show you his craft. Welcome to my life, the life of a madman." This story was originally inspired by the 'Legion' novella series written by Brandon Sanderson. If you've read those books and liked them, it might be worth giving this a read. The same goes if you haven't read them either, I guess. (Currently re-writing earlier chapters)
