I lost my mind when I couldn't find Sophia, I was so scared. Lauren said they were talking and she just ran into the woods. The first thing that came to mind was that she left me and I couldn't handle that.

I wanted to run after her but I had to look after Azure since he was used to me and his mother. He had never been around pack members in his human form, even my parents only knew him from pictures.

I got my best trackers and warrior to find her. I may or may have not promised them death if they came back without her. I needed to find out who was the fucker who had the balls to question my luna. He was going to be on midnight patrol for a month.

I had hard time controlling Zion, he wanted to make sure Sophia was okay. I had learned one thing from this whole situation, my mate was attracted to me and I had to use that to my advantage. Just thinking about how she melted into my arms was turning me on. That female will be the death of me. She had me wrapped around her finger and she had no idea.

"I don't know if I should be happy or disgusted." I opened my eyes to see Caleb standing at the door. When did I even close my eyes?

"What do you mean?" He sat in a chair in front of my desk.

"I knocked and there was no answer. Then I walk in to find you with a creepy smile, eyes closed and it reeks with your desire in here."

"Go with happiness man. Shit, I need my mate so bad right now," I said smiling.

"Jeez man, your mate is my sister so stop." He said that smiling but there was so much sadness in his eyes. "I guess things are okay between you and Sophia."

"We are getting there. She's coming around."

"I'm happy for you man but I can't help but feel like I lost my sister. Lauren is taking it so hard; she hates herself for betraying her best friend," he said sadly.

"Look man, I understand, take my advice and stop trying to apologise when you see her. Just talk to her but don't take the things she says to heart. Remember she is angry. Give her time she will come around eventually." I prayed that I was right because it hurt me to see my baby sad.

"I hear you man, we will follow your advice. Oh, this package came for you."

"Thanks man, it's actually for Sophia. I need to give it to her," I said getting up.

Caleb laughed and followed me out. I locked the door and made my way to my mate. She was with Azure on the couch reading and he was eating berries. When he saw me he came running to me, shouting dada. He hugged my legs and went back to his cartoons and berries. His mother gave me a heart warming smile, stood up and came before me.

"Hey, you're early.... or do you need something?" she asked shyly. I wanted to say 'yes my Luna, 'I need you so bad' but I couldn't.

"I bought this online for you so it was delivered today," I said handing her the package. Her eyes widened in shock but she took it anyway. She opened it and shook her head.

"Blaze, you didn't have to." My name sounded sexy from her lips and I couldn't wait to hear how it would sound when she was.... I cleared my throat.

"Why not? You said you want to go back to school so the laptop is for that. You also need a phone so I can call whenever I miss you." She had tears in her eyes and threw herself at me and hugged me. I didn't waste time putting my arm around her and caressed her hair with my other hand. She quickly stepped back.

"I'm sorry," she cleared her throat. "But thank you so much."

"Come here," I said seriously, looking in her eyes. They held nothing but adoration.

"What?" she managed to whisper.

"Come to your Alpha my Luna and let me hold you," I commanded with my arms opened.

She stepped forward and lifted her hand. I thought she was going to slap me but she placed it on my cheek lovingly. The warmth of her touch made me feel all kinds of feels. I didn't realise that my eyes were closed until I heard her voice.

"Blaze," she whispered. Her eyes were glowing, telling me her wolf was close to surface.

The sweet scent of her need for me hit me hard. I couldn't take it anymore so I leaned in slowly, giving her time to pull away. She didn't move so that was a greenlight for me.

Finally our lips met and sparks flew everywhere. The kiss was passionate and slow. It sent electric currents and other delightful sentiments throughout my body. I was kissing my mate, my love and I was on cloud nine. My hand slipped down to the small of her back and stayed there. It felt so secure, almost like it belonged there. My grip was firm; I wanted to show her how much I cared for her, how safe she would be in my arms. I pulled her closer and she moaned. This made heart my wild backflips. Kissing Sophia was out of this world. Then we heard Azure's voice.

When we pulled apart, my lips felt numb.

"Dada, no! You eat Mama?" He was not happy, he actually believed I was hurting his mother.

"Buddy, Mama is fine, OK? Dada will never hurt you or your mama," I told my son. He nodded but still eyed me skeptically. If he knew the things I wanted to do to his mother, he would kill me now. I smiled at my thoughts and said,

"Besides, I've told you this before, your mama is mine to eat." My mate hit me on the chest and shook her head displeased and I could see her cheeks turning red.

She went on her knees to talk to our son and I took that moment to fix my pants. I was hard and it was becoming an everyday thing for me. I became immune to cold showers a long time ago, so yeah, I was in deep shit.

"My big boy, why don't you go and finish your movie and let Mama talk to your dada?" Azure gave her a smile and ran back to the couch.

Sophia took my hand and pulled me towards the dining table. The feeling was incredible and I couldn't get enough of her touch. I was happy because she was trusting and giving me a chance.

"Something has to be done with the kissing police over there. He has to know that you are mine to eat," I said as we sat down. She responded with a series of giggles. The sound was music to my ears and I fucking fell in love with her even more.

"Blaze stop," she said and looked away, trying to hide her pink cheeks. I wanted to kiss her again but with the sheriff in the house, I knew it was going to be hard.

I swear if that kid was not mine, he would be gone. I found my addiction and I'm not giving it up. Those lips are mine to eat.

"So what did you want to talk about?" I asked. She shivered, closed her eyes and bit her lower lip.

Zion lost it, he wanted to be the one biting that lip. I was having a hard time controlling him.

"You okay babe?" My voice was deep and low. She bit her lip harder and nodded.

"I wanted to tell you about the time when I was on my own. So take a sit," she said, letting go of my hand and getting seated.

I didn't like the fact that she let go of my hand, so I took her hand in mine and sat down.

"Baby, you don't have to justify yourself to me or anyone, I trust yo...."

Sophia cut me off and said,

"I know but I want tell you everything so you don't have any doubts."

I didn't get to hear her story because Caleb called about the rogues. I tried telling her I would go later but she was having none of it.

The most troubling thing about these rogues was that they were not attacking, they just kept growing in numbers. We didn't know what to expect and that didn't sit well with me.
