Hi everyone, i haven't updated recently. I have had issues with my laptop and also my dog was very poorly this past week.

Thank you for the 200 reads, I am going to upload a chapter today and work on some more later on in order to hopefully do a bulk load later this week.

Its been about a month since I've been here. It's a lot nicer here then being at sundown pack, everyone there wasn't very nice to me and even though I was with the next alpha people still looked down on me. Here though everyone has been warm and welcoming I don't know if its through the Alphas orders or just being nice in general but I've had no issues as of yet.

Rafael and myself have been getting to know each other better too, he has told me all about himself and how he runs the pack. I have also told him about me.

Hes also been teaching me about the Luna responsibilities which I will have to do when I take on the role of Luna. Another ceremony to plan I guess, I hope Rafael helps with it and doesn't just leave it all down to me.

I must have completely zoned out on Rafael again as he slams a book down on the table to grab my attention.

"Liliana –" oh yeah, hes started calling me by my proper name, not sure why but I love how it sounds coming from him.

"You need to pay attention, this is for your benefit as much as mine." He playfully chastises, looking at me to make sure I am ok.

"Sorry, I'm not completely with it, can you blame me. I have one month left and I'm just worrying about everything." Rubbing my belly. I've gotten bigger in the last month. From the back you wouldn't have thought I was pregnant but from the front there is no denying it.

"Just 20 more minutes, please? Then we have to go to your scan." He kneels down in front of me and puts his hand on my tummy too. Something I've grown use to and I also like it as I feel it brings us closer. I suppose can try and concentrate for 20 more minutes.

For the next 20 minutes he tells me about needing to try and remember people by name and rank, most of the warrior, patrol and training schedules as it will help lots. I pay attention to all of it, although I will need a good few weeks to get to grips with the thing on a whole.

Rafael comes back around the desk and takes a hold of my hands and pulls me to my feet. We've gone to physical contact haven't kissed or marked yet though. Hes been very gentlemanly about all of it. From what hes been telling me is most mates mark and mate each other same day.

"Come on then, lets go see what we having shall we?" Funnily enough ive heard nothing off Lucas or Adien so who knows whats happening with that side of things. Nodding to Rafael we make our way out of his office and down to the hospital it only takes 10 minutes to walk down there.

Once were inside and waiting to be seen we wait for Rachel who I found out is Rafaels Aunt. She puts on all smiles but I know she doesn't really approve of me carrying someone elses pup. Its isn't long after when she arrives in the room smiling and hugging Rafael and then just giving me a quick look of acknowledgment.

"So are you ready to find out what gender it is?" I lift my top and allow her to place the gel on as Rafael takes hold of my hand while we both look at the screen. She does the basic checks making sure pup is grow in proportion.

"It would seem your having a little girl" we both look to each other shocked. We were sure it was a boy with all the old wives tales we have been trying.
