Rafaels POV

"Alpha" Mike one of my warriors sounds out though the mind link I don't reply having my mate comfortable laying on me. These moments are rare. I know she isn't ready and I will never push her but also an alpha only has so much restraint. God she drives me crazy.

"We found a trespasser."

"I've told you to kill them on sight, why is it still alive?" I shoot through the mind link. This has me annoyed. I don't wish to move or wake my mate for something that can be easily sorted by now.

"She says she has information." He presses. I can hear the urgency in his voice. Deciding against my better judgement I quietly climb out of bed and write a quick note so I don't worry my little mate where I am.

"Im on my way" Closing the door to as quietly as I can as to make sure I definitely don't wake her up. She needs all the rest she can get right now.

I make my way down the stirs to the main level and through an extra door to the basement where the cells are. At first glance I don't see who it is but I remember that perfume from the other day. It dawns on me that this is Aidens mate, the exact same one who came to my pack at his side thinking he was in the right that his mate could do no wrong.

"What the hell are you doing here!" I barge into her cell, she visibly flinches and gets as far away from me as possible.

"Please, I came to bargin. My life in exchange for the information I have." She pleads bowing her head to me in submission.

"I can just get the information out of you and kill you in the process." I walk to where the torture instruments are turning my back to her and start to roll my sleeves up.

"Please don't." she screams, going down on to her knees begging me.

"I'm pregnant and seeing how he was the other day I had no choice." She puts her hand to her stomach, she isn't very far along if she is. This changes things.

"Get the pack doctor down here. Now!" I growl through the mind link and Mike speeds it out of there as fast as Ive seen him go in his human form. I want the doctor to make sure she is telling me the truth if she is I can't go my normal way about this.
