i woke up And Jake was sleeping i kissed his forehead And got dressed it was nice out so i decided to leave a note to Jake Saying i'm going on a walk i brought my Xplr backpack and i brought my Penny board i got out of the house i started walking i didn't eat before i left so i decided i'll walk to Tender Greens when i got there Brennen and his sister? was there he waved at me i didn't want to be mean and just leave and not even try to be nice i had to regain my trust to him i waved back and sat down by myself Brennen came and sat he said "Colby i didn't properly say sorry so Colby i'm so sorry i know it was wrong to do that to you i shouldn't have done that to you i love you and i'm sorry." " Brennen i accept your apology and can i ask you a question?" "Of course you can." "About yesterday when Jake said get off of me you gave me a weird look Why was that?" "He said get off my boyfriend i didn't know Jake was Gay or is he Bi?" "He's bi and yeah he looks straight lol but he's not" "Ok Colby well my sister is waiting for me bye." "Bye Brennen" he walked away i got the usual and Ate and left i went on a long walk i got a text from Jake

10 minutes later i got back home i went up stairs and in Jakes room he jumped up and gave me a long passionate kiss we pulled away "i missed you Jake" "i missed you too" he pecked my lips and laid with me he fell asleep with his Arms wrapped around my waist soon after that i fell peacefully asleep i woke up a half an hour later i haven't hung out with The roommates in a while mostly because they've been busy or i was hanging out with Jake. Jake was still sleeping so i decided to go down stairs Corey,Devyn ,Katrina,Sam and Aaron was down stairs i walked in and i said happily "hey guys!" they all say hi "i haven't talked to y'all in a while since we're all busy i missed you guys" "Missed you too Colby" Sam said . sam and i had a conversation about Going to go Explore this one place in LA we said we would go tomorrow to make the fans Happy. "COLBY!" i heard a yell from upstairs i knew it was Jake i went up and Jake was crying i went up to him and hugged him i asked why he was crying. he said "I was up for a while actually and i was on my phone and my Ex texted me he threatened me that He would find me and hurt you because i guess he follows me on insta and found out we're dating..." "don't worry baby i'll protect us if he comes close to us i swear i'll kick his butt" "the roommates are down stairs wanna hang out with them?" " Yeah" "come on get on" Jake climbed on Colby's back and Colby went down stairs and set Jake on the love sack Colby sat with him Jake had red puffy Eyes Devyn asked if he was Okay he told the story to her she felt bad and angry at the same time but she knew he was strong and knew he would be fine they had hung out all night Colby fell asleep on the love sack so Jake carried him to his room and fell asleep

This was my first significant fanfic (and fic in general). I wasn't happy with the writing as time went on, and took it down, but years later am still getting requests to put it back up so I guess some people liked it. Newly re-released as I finish some minor editing, there are about 100,000 words (~360 RRL pages) already written, so releases should be fast until I catch up with the backlog. That said, it may languish in hiatus at that point if the interest isn't high enough to merit continuing, so if you're the type to only read finished stories (or ones where the author promises to do so), I am very specifically not promising that. On the other hand, if enough people read, like, review, comment, rate, etc. then it will get added to my writing schedule. Generally, the character is based on a “how badass could someone who hasn't done ridiculously crazy shit be? Or, how does someone with the potential, in another setting, with a lot of luck, to be a badass act and develop as a modern, productive member of society? And then how would they deal with the Naruto-verse?” Please, please do not judge my writing by this. As she grows stronger, she finds she has some connection to the pillars. While everyone else sees beauty or danger when they look at the pillars, after connection is made all Jessica can see is a Tree. A tree the size of the entire universe. Isaka Smith - is a third generation American and farmer who just wants to be left alone. But she is dragged into the situation by events beyond her control. When people in her small town had to deal with rioters and looters after the system announcement, she rallied them to defend themselves, earning her a trait that the government found extraordinarily useful. After a visit to a local reservation, she finds herself conscripted to lead one of the many small support towns erected around the great pillar forts. Not near her old home, but in far-flung Africa. John McIntire, the “Fighting Bull” -The commander of the African Fort, but because of circumstances beyond his ability to contend with shortly after taking command after being re-activated from retirement, he finds communication with his chain of command increasingly difficult. The US government, hell, even the United Nations, seems to have fallen into complete and utter chaos. The African Union is embroiled in a bitter civil war just outside his door, and supposedly, most of the world governments are in similar situations. Meanwhile, John must do his best to be ready to facilitate diplomacy, or to match the hostile argument of whatever force might come through the pillar of light when the year timer finishes counting down. Can our heros defend Earth from outside threats, while it tares itself apart? Or will they need to rebuild from the ground up?
