《Sun mere humsafar》Chapter 9

At Shiva's room,
Shiva lifted an eyebrow and looked at the door.
Shiva: Kitni baar bolna parega, mujhe pareshan mat karo, mujhe akele rehne do, abhi jao yaha se Raavi.
Raavi: Do din se yahi sun rahi hoon main, abhi agar aap darwaza nahi khologe to main darwaza todwayungi. Please sir, ekbar meri baat suniye, apne baby ki baare mein at least sochiye, is bichara ka kya galti hai. Janam lene ki baad hi apni maa ko kho diya, aur ab papa bhi paas nahi a raha hai. Please Shiva sir, aisa mat kariye.
All of a sudden, the baby started crying. Raavi tried to comfort him but she failed. She couldn't figure out what to do. Shiva heard it and he squeezed his eyes shut in pain. He immediately opened the door and took his son in his arms. He did end up in tears for witnessing his son in that state. He tried to soothe him by patting his back and hugging him. He kissed on his forehead and started singing a lullaby for him. Slowly, the baby calmed down and stopped crying. He kept looking at his father and tried to grab his pendant from his neck. For the very 1st time after these two painful days, Shiva smiled looking at his son's cute antics. The baby also giggled after listening to his father's voice. He knew his father’s touch. Shiva carefully took him closer to himself and softly pecked on his cheek. For a moment, he forgot his misery and started playing with him. Raavi's eyes glistened with happy tears, she adored their bond and smiled watching them. Slowly, he put him into sleep. He went beside him and sat down while Raavi smiled and stated:
Bahut acha lag rahe the aap dono sath mein. Pata hai, Ishanvi kehti thi ki aap best father banoge, aab lagta hai, ye sach hoga. Aap ko nayi zindagi suru karna hoga, is baby ke liye, khud ke liye, Ishanvi ke liye, aap ko aage badhna hoga. Zindagi kisike liye nahi rukti hai, khud ko adjust karna padhta hai, waqt lagta hai paar hum sach se to bhag nahi sakte na, Ishanvi abhi is duniya mein nahi hai, aap ko bhi ye manna padega.

Shiva glared at her and hold her arms tightly, he yelled : Har waqt jo itna lecture dete ho, kabhi socha hai, ki pyaar khone ka dard kaisa hota hai, apni sabse close person ko har din marte hue dekhna kaisa lagta hai, apne har sapne ho ek pal mein toot te hue dekhna, aur hazar koshish karne ke baad bhi kuch na kar pana, kaisa lagta hai. Nhi!, tumhe koi idea hi nahi hai. Kyunki tum kabhi kisise pyar nahi kiya. Tumhe ye sab kuch pata nahi hai. Bolna bahut aasan hai ki sab thik ho jayega, par realty mein ye nahi hota. Sab kuch pehle jaisa kabhi nahi ho sakta.
Shiva covered his eyes with his hand and started crying bitterly. Raavi's eyes welled up seeing him. She gently moved his hands and cupped his cheeks. He swatted her hands away and averted his gaze. Raavi lifted his chin and wiped his tears with her thumb. Softly kissing on his forehead, she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly, she rubbed his shoulder and comforted him.
Next day,
At Shiva's room,
Raavi entered with a tray of food for Shiva.
Raavi : Bahut der ho gayi hai, aab nashta kar lijiye.
Shiva frowned and said : Tum kya har din yaha pade rehte ho!, jao kaam karo apna.
Raavi : Wahi kar rahi hoon. Actually, Shalini abhi leave mein hai, To Darshan sir ne mujhe apka PA ke position mein appoint kiya hai. Full time hai. Main school ki job aab nahi karti hoon. Kabhi kabhi bacho ke sath mil kar ati hoon. To..
Shiva shushed her and said : Har waqt itna chapad chapad kaise kar lete ho! Jitna puchta hoon utna nahi bata sakte!, aur dekho ye khana lekar yaha se jao, mujhe bhuk nahi hain.
Raavi gave a half shrug and straightaway went and sat in front of him. At first, she tried to feed him with her own hands. But Shiva was too stubborn to comply with her.

Raavi : Khana to aapko khana hi padega, main apna kaam ekdam shiddat se karti hoon.
Shiva cocked his head and shot her an irritating look: Dekho, maine kaha…
Raavi took the morsel of food and fed him.
Shiva glared at her but having no other choice, ate it.
Shiva again opened his mouth to yell: Yeh tum kya...
Raavi again put the morsel of food in his mouth. After some time, Shiva gave up and grumpily ate the food.
Raavi chirpily stated : Yeh hui na baat, aab main jaake Puchku se milungi.
Shiva rolled his eyes and stated : Ye Puchku kaun hai!
Raavu slapped her forehead and stated : Areh, aapka ek lauta beta aur kaun!
Shiva : Ye kaise name rakha hai!, aur naam to maine pehli hi soch ke rakha tha.
Raavi pouted cutely and said : Achha hi to hai, aur ye to nickname hai, waise aapne kya naam soch kar rakha tha.
Shiva's eyes twinkled, he drew in a long breath and stated : Rudra…. Rudra Shiva Pandya.
That's it for today.
Thank you😊
