《Sun mere humsafar》Chapter 14

At the party,
Shiva looked at Raavi who had put her hand in his hand and both appeared on the dance floor. He twirled her a bit, and swayed with her to the music. Raavi wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer to her.
Shiva chuckled and pointed at Rahul and Disha who were peering at them with bloodshot eyes. Both got jealous seeing Shiva wrapping his arm around Raavi's waist whereas both Shivi kept on dancing gracefully, enjoying the music. Though initially they proceeded the dance with the only motive to teach them a lesson, slowly, they forgot everything and seemed to get lost in each other's eyes. Shiva twirled Raavi again forward and she came crashing on his hard body. Their chests were nearly touching, his hands were firmly placed on her bare waist and their faces were only a few centimeters away from each other. His hot breath fanned over her face and her cheeks reddened. She felt goosebumps over her body and again felt the unusual yet wonderful feeling from their close proximity. Shiva intensely gazed at Raavi and she lowered her gaze and blushed. The music stopped and everyone applauded them. They returned from their dreamland and started looking here and there, then Raavi slowly came out of his hold and they awkwardly smiled at each other.
"So, tum isliye busy the, aur mujhe laga tum akela honge? "A female voice came from behind. Shivi turned and saw Disha who was glaring daggers at Raavi.
Raavi smirked and wrapped her hand around Shiva's arm and sweetly smiled at her. Then smiling at Shiva, she looked at Disha and said: Ofcourse, waise bhi Shiva apna time faltu cheez mein waste nahi karta. And hum dono ek dusre ke company itna enjoy karte hai ki baaki sab mein dhyan jata hi nahi. Aur main ise kabhi akela rehne hi nahi dungi.

Disha looked at Shiva who didn't even pay any glance to her, she gritted his teeth in anger and left. While Rahul was peeping at them from a distance, Shiva viewing the scene unknowingly wrapped his arms around Raavi's waist protectively and shot him an angry glare to which he got scared and left the place.
Scene shifts to Shiva's car,
Shiva grinned and looked at Raavi.
Shiva : Aaj bahut maza aya, I didn't expect this from you. Us Disha ki dasha dekne layak thi.
Raavi flipped her hair and proudly smiled: Aap mujhe jante kitna hai!
Shiva raised a brow and said: Ha, pehle bf ke saath bhi aisa karte the shayaad!
Raavi : Areh nahi, mera koi boyfriend nahi tha.
Shiva : Seriously, I mean aisa kyu?
Raavi : Mujhe ye pyaar pe koi biswas hi nahi hai, mujhe ye to kuch samajh bhi nahi aata. Aur akele rehne mein aap apni marzi se reh paate ho, koi tension nahi, jhagra nahi, kya zarurat hai ye sab mein padhne ki!
Shiva widened his eyes and said: Pagal ho kya! Pyaar bahut important hai, do pyaar karne wale log ek dusre ke baahon mein jo sukoon meksoos karta hai, unke presence mein jo khusiya mehsoos karta hai, Ye bahut alag hai, sab kuch achha lagta hai, khud ko nayi roop mein dekhna ka maan karta hai, humesha ek sath rehne ka maan karta hai, ek sachha humsafar apne sukh, dukh har pal aap ka sath deta hai, wo pehle pyaar ka hichkichat, sharmana, ek bahut special feeling hai ye. Jab tumhe pyaar hoga na tab samjhoge. Har Waqt usko dekhne ka maan karega, uska care karneka, uske kareeb rehne ka maan karega. Aur waise bhi, tumhe to koi bhi mil jayega.
Raavi gaped at him dreamily: Koi bhi!
Shiva nonchalantly said: Ha, you're so beautiful and smart. Thora dobi ho but achhi ladki ho. Kyu nahi milega!

Raavi stated in a trance and then immediately regretted her verbal vomit : Aapke jaise bhi!
Shiva narrowed his eyes and laughed: Kya, M..mere jaisa,!, Shiva pandya to ek hi hai, mere jaisa milna possible nahi. Ha, par iske aas pass ka koi mil sakta hai, dhundna padega.
Raavi sighed in relief, seeing Shiva joking about it. She herself couldn't figure out why she suddenly uttered that.
Shiva dropped her home.
Before leaving, he held her hand and said: Thank you Raavi for always being by my side. And, aaj tum sach mein bhi bahut achhe lagrahi ho.
A thin smile covered his lips.
Raavi blushed at the compliment and shyed away.
Shiva's thoughts were flashing in her mind. She tried to divert her mind by engaging in other stuffs but failed.
Sighing, she sat down with her Diary.
Pata hai diary, aaj party mein bahut maza aya. Wo Rahul badtamizi karne aye the, par Shiva sir hero ki tarah entry mara aur mujhe bachaya. Bahut handsome lag rahe tha aaj wo, waise roj hi lagte hai, pata nahi kyu par wo Disha ko sunakar mujhe aaj alag hi maza aya. Aur pata hai, Dance karne ke time Shiva sir jab mera kareeb tha, mujhe na bahut achha lag raha tha. Aaj Kal kya ho gaya hai mujhe! Harpal uska yaad hi ati hai, uska chinta hota hai. Uske paas rehne ka maan karta hai. Uska chuna mujhe pasand hai, ek ajeeb feeling hota hai tab. Jaise Shiva sir pyaar ka description de raha tha, aisa thora thora to mere sath ho raha hai. Par ye kaise ho sakta hai, main bhi na!, kya kuch bhi sochti hoon! Par Kya hai ye feeling, kyu aise baarbar unke taraf kheeche jarahi hoon main? Iska jawab kaha milega?
Scene ends.
Note : "A hero falling in love with the heroine and wooing her" It's a very common thing for all of us. Am I right? Now tell me, once we found the hero crushing on the girl, how many of us immediately think about bringing a 3rd angle in the story to make the girl jealous to realize her love( which maybe does not even exist). ! Do we really do that! I don't think so. We expect the hero to impress her in various ways, support her and win her. But if the role gets reversed, we feel it is weird and sometimes can't accept it wholeheartedly. Is it ok? Just a question. In this story, if Raavi was in Shiva's place, do u really want her to fall for Shiva forgetting her past immediately and get jealous with a random 3rd angle or would you expect Shiva to support her and give her sufficient time to realise her love. When we are preaching about equality all the time, I think we should normalise these things. Isn't it? Anyway, Jealousy will come when it will be needed and who will propose, who will not, it will be revealed in the upcoming chapters.
