《Sophie Swan: P.L》Chapter one:

Bella's sitting in the front with dad, while I sit in the back with my headphones in listening to one of my many playlists. As usual Bella and dad are making the atmosphere awkward, hence me wearing the headphones. I don't really pay attention to the conversation that they're having, although I'm sure it was an awkward one. Before long, we arrive at our childhood home, that's right next to the luscious mystery of earth's land, called the forest.
Dad pulls up in front of the house, parallel toward the street road. He helps bring in mine and Bella's luggage, carrying them up the stairs to our childhood bedrooms. My room is located right next to Bella's, whose bedroom is right next to the bathroom. Dad's was on the other side facing the bathroom.
"I cleared some shelves up in the bathroom." One bathroom, this is going to be interesting.
"Oh right." Bella didn't sound to happy to have one bathroom, but oh well.
I left those two after taking my bags from dad, and headed to my room and started to unpack.
An hour or so went by before I heard honking outside. I went into Bella's room to look out her window. I stood next to her and we peered outside to see our dad greeting two people. One in a wheelchair and a young boy, who seems to be our age. I couldn't really tell who they were as they were facing a beat up, old-looking, orange truck. Bella and I start to head down the stairs and out the door.
"Bella, Soph, you remember Billy Black." A smile comes to my face and I hug the two of them.
"Yeah, of course I remember Uncle Billy and Jake. It's good to see you guys." I smile a big toothy grin toward the both of them. The three boys giving a chuckle at my response.
I look back to Bella. "Oh yeah. You're looking good." She states shyly whilst giving Billy a handshake.
"I'm still dancing. But I'm glad you're finally here. Charlie here hasn't shut up about it since you told him you guys were coming."
I giggle at that as dad had just been called out. "Alright, keep exaggerating...I'll roll you into the mud."
"After I ram you in the ankles. Yeah bring it." Uncle Billy and dad start to play fight on the street.
"Hi, I'm Jacob. We used to make mud pies when we were little." I turn to Jake as he introduces himself to Bella. How can she not remember who Jake is?
"Right, I remember. Are they always like this?" Bella indicates to our dads messing around.
"It's getting worse with old age."
"Your hair is so long, you should let me braid it." I say while touching a piece of his hair.
"Hehe maybe, but I don't want my hair ruined."
"Ugh, I am offended Jacob Black. Your hair would be top notch." I say dramatically whilst placing a hand over my heart.
"So, what do you think?" Our dads stop fighting and come join us again.

"What?" Bella asks.
"Your home coming present." Dad indicates to the truck.
"This?" Bella looks stunned, whereas I have a massive smile on my face. No more walking or taking the bus. Yes.
"Just bought it off Billy, here."
"Yep." Billy says proudly as he gives the truck a tap.
"I totally rebuilt the engine for you."
"No way, that's so cool." I say smiling at Jake.
"Come on! Oh my gosh! This is perfect! You must be joking!" Bella goes for the drivers door, and opens it hitting poor Jake.
"Woah."
"Sorry."
"I told you they'd love it. I'm down with the kids."
"Oh yeah dude. You're the bomb."
"Of course we love it. We have our own way round now. Thank you guys so much." I run up to them both and give them another hug, but a bigger one.
After Jake shows Bella how everything works we head inside and eat dinner.
After saying goodbye, I head up to my room and get my outfit ready for the first day of school tomorrow. Unlike Bella, I take great pride in how I present myself and the way I dress.
I had everything I needed and quite excited for our first day. It's a new start and I cannot wait to make new friends.
Bella drives us to school, I didn't really mind that we were starting in the middle of a semester, Bella on the other hand seemed a bit nervous for that as we were sure to get more attention than she hoped for.
We parked and there were stares. "It's going to be fine, okay Bells."
She nodded before exiting, I following in her footsteps.
"Nice ride." I looked up to see boy, smirking sitting next to a girl. I rolled my eyes at his comment.
"Nice receding hairline." I say in a fake sweet tone.
We found the office, grabbed our papers and started to wonder through the school to try and find our first class. Bella and I have the same classes, except I have a different Biology class to hers as when the periods she has her biology I'm doing art.
"You're Isabella and Sophie Swan, the new girls. Hi! I'm Eric, the eyes and ears of this place. Anything you need? Tour guide, lunch date. A shoulder to cry on." An Asian guy popped out of nowhere and not going to lie I did jump a little.
Before I could answer Bells beats me to it. "I'm really kind of a more 'suffer in silence' type." I internally roll my eyes, really Bells. There's clearly a difference between us twins, ones more positive and has a great outlook on things-me-and one is a loner who doesn't know how to act or speak to other people without some sort of dramatics-Bella.
"Good headline for your feature. I'm on the paper and you're news baby, front page." Now that put a smile on my face.
"No I'm not. Please don't." Bella stuttered.
"Woah, chillax. No feature. Cool?"
"Thanks."
"I on the other hand would love to be apart of this feature. I've always liked having my picture taken." I but in.

"Really? That's great, we can get things done later, now why don't I show you guys to your first class."
"That would be great, thanks Eric." We follow Eric to our first class.
Bella and I are in our sport lesson, we're playing volleyball. Sport isn't a good combo with Bells as she is very uncoordinated, so it was a good thing that we were on the same team. That way I-the sporty one- could hit the ball for Bella if it ever came our way. However, the ball came and I was a bit too far away from Bells to get it, so Bella had to hit it and it went flying into a guys head.
"I'm sorry. I told them not to let me play." I walked over to Bells and gave her a reassuring pat on the shoulder.
"No, no that's...You're Isabella and Sophie, right?"
"Yep." I chirp with a kind smile on my face.
"Just Bella."
"Yeah, hey! I'm Mike Newton." He held his hands out for us to shake, I took and gave a firm shake whereas Bella gave a shy-I don't really know what to do-type of shake.
"Nice to meet you Mike."
"Nice to meet you." Bella and I say at the same time, causing me to giggle a little.
"She's got a great spike, huh? I'm Jessica by the way." A girl came jogging over.
"I'm Sophie and this is Bella." I say giving her a warm smile.
"Hey, you're from Arizona, right?" She directed this more to Bella.
"Yeah."
"Aren't people from Arizona supposed to be like really tan?" I look to Bella's pale complexion and then my tanned self.
"Yeah, maybe that's why they kicked me out."
Mike started laughing and I just smiled and shook my head a little. I'm proud Bella's conversing with others, usually it's just me.
"You're good." Mike laughed whilst shaking a finger at Bella.
"That's so funny." Jessica stated in a small voice. Us girls got called back over to finish the game before lunch started.
Lunch started and Mike offered us to sit with him, he placed an arm round my shoulder and guided us. I saw Eric sitting where Mike was pointing us to, they must be in the same group of friends.
Eric stopped his conversation with another girl as Mike pulled out our seats for us, he's so kind. "Hey Mikey! You met my home girls, Bella and Sophie."
"Oh, your home girl?"
"Yeah."
"My girls." The same guy that commented on Bella's truck kissed our cheeks and pulled Mikes chair out from under him. The guy who we found out's name is Tyler, ran away with Mike chasing after him.
"Oh, my gosh. It's like first grade all over again. You guys are the shiny new toy." Jessica said whilst pulling her chair closer to Bella. I was situated between Bella and Eric.
"Smile!" I saw a girl pull out her camera, and quickly I pulled a smile before the flash went off.
"Okay." Bella said looking down a bit.
"Sorry, I needed the candids for the feature." She seems so sweet, I can tell we're gonna be great friends.
"Her feature's dead, Angela. Don't bring it up again." Eric gets up.
"It's okay, I just..." Bella started.
"I got your back, baby." And with that he left, I moved closer to Bella.
"I guess we'll just turn another editorial on teen drinking." Angela says being quite down.
"Hey, Bella may not be comfortable about doing the feature, but I don't mind." I say trying to cheer her up.
"Yeah, and you can always go for, the eating disorders. Speedo padding on the swim team."
"Actually they're good ones, thanks." Bella and I nod our heads as a you're welcome.
"Yeah, right. That's exactly what I thought." I looked at Jessica and unlike sweet Angela here, I don't think I could be friends with her. She just seems like a person... who just isn't my type.
I noticed Bella looking outside, I followed her eyes to see some really nice looking people. "Who are they?" Bella asks, I lean forward like the other girls do to, to hear what they have to say. I've never been one to gossip, but I'm generally interested.
Angela and Jess look over to see who Bella was talking about, and Angela turns back with a smile. "The Cullen's."
"They're um, Dr and Mrs Cullen's foster kids. They moved down here from Alaska a few years ago." Jess comes in.
"They kind of keep to themselves." I mean fair enough family is everything.
"Yeah, cause they're all together, like together, together."
"So dating." I say looking up at them as they enter the room.
"Okay, the blonde girl, that's Rosalie, and the big dark-haired guy, Emmett. They're like a thing. I'm not even sure that's legal."
"Jess, they're not actually related."
"Yeah, but they live together. It's weird."
"It's not weird, you can't help who you fall in love with, and like Angela said, they're not related so it's fine."
"Whatever, Sophie. And, okay, the little dark-haired girl is Alice, she's really weird. And she's with Jasper, the blonde one, who looks like he's in pain."
"Hey be nice, you don't know them so why are you judging." I say now getting a bit annoyed with Jessica and how she views others.
"Um, anyway Dr Cullen is like this foster dad-slash-match maker."
"Maybe he'll adopt me." Angela said hopefully.
"Who's he?" I turn to look at a lone guy walking in through the door.
"That's Edward Cullen. He's totally gorgeous, obviously. But apparently nobody here is good enough for him. Like I care, you know. So... yeah. Seriously, don't like waste your time."
"How many times did he have to reject you, before you got the hint then Jessica?" I asked with a smirk on my face. Then laughter up roared and I looked behind me to find that Emmett was laughing his head off, with the others laughing to. I wonder what was so funny.

Child of the Ancients: An Apocalypse LitRPG
It all started in the middle of Dante's nap. He wanted to sleep his life away, but the system denied his request. Instead, it began to transform the Earth, integrating it into the multiverse by granting everyone stats and skills. He was talented, or so the system thought. And that meant he needed to be challenged. After being sent into a deadly cavern, Dante strives for the future he's always desired. But when he learns about the secrets hidden within him, he's shaken to his very core. He wishes for the nightmare to end until something goes wrong. [The world will end in one year.] Instead of everyone receiving a relatively gentle tutorial, the people of Earth are deemed redundant. Dante makes it his goal to save as many people as he can before the world ends, but with billions of lives at stake, he might have to turn into a monster before he can become a hero. Planned updates (2500+ words): M/W/F. 12pm AEST/ 9am EST. M-F during Writeathon. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Author's Note: All system apocalypse novels seem to jump straight over the apocalypse itself, which I find very sad. I don't want this to turn into a typical fantasy novel in about ten chapters. Instead, I hope to explore the destruction of society and how things would look if superpowers suddenly appeared in the real world. Before the real apocalypse happens, of course. There will be base building, and likely romance once things settle down. Also dragons, because they are awesome :)

Helena's Plane
Paul, a bored young man, wakes up in a white room. A young woman tells him he has died, that she is some kind of god who likes videogames and he will be reborn in an RPG-esque world so she and her fellow god-friends can watch him for entertainment.Unfortunately, the goddess forgot to give Paul most of the obligatory, obvious cheat-abilities to make him rush to power in easy mode. Paul embraces his new life full of clichés, perverts, magic, loot and action. And animal girls.18+ !CONTAINS GRAPHIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL CONTENT! (Actual sex is still hard to find, but you will get it. Eventually. Sporadically.) =================Author's note:So, this is my very first novel. It will be poorly written, has a huge info-dump disguised as a first chapter (to be rewritten. At some point in the future. I guess.), and may or may not offend everyone for different reasons. Perhaps you will just find it boring, which would be even worse. The description turned out a bit comedic, but the story isn't overly so.I have a rough idea of where this will be going, but expect some bumps on the road, as well as logic holes, flat characters and a lot of borderline copyright infringements from all the ideas I got reading other works. And did I mention I'm not a native speaker? No? Well, expect some embarrassing grammar and wording choices. The main character is a more or less normal guy, without high morals, martial arts skills or even a desirable goal in life. There is mature content, in terms of violence and sexual content. It won't become a full-blown erotic novel, and it may or may not be your cup of tea when it comes to the type of content.Critics welcome.
