《Sophie Swan: P.L》Chapter twenty six:

It's a few days after the wedding and I hope Bella and Edward are doing okay. Well, I hope Bella is okay. I found out where their honeymoon is and to say I fear for Bella's safety is an understatement. She is the most clumsiest person alive and she's going to an island with rocks and waterfalls and... who am I kidding knowing her luck she'll live.
Although who was I to know what would happen next.
I'm sitting at Emily's talking to Leah, while the boys speak about their next beach trip when I get a text from Rosalie.
"Who's that from?" I look at Leah.
"It's from Alice. You know one of the Cullen's?"
"What's she want?"
"Good question." What is the matter? The text said that I needed to go round their house immediately.
'Bella is pregnant with a child that is going to kill her.'
I could feel the blood drain from my face.
"Soph? You look like you've seen a ghost. Everything alright?"
I look at everyone with my mouth open.
"It's-uh-I have to go." I change to my vampire form and sped off without another word being said. I didn't even think about transporting myself to the house I simply ran.
I ran straight into the house with a worried look on my face. "Sophie thank you for coming. Bella and Edward are on their way back now."
"How is Bella?"
"We're not entirely sure. Last we heard of her was when she rang."
"Carlisle, Bella is going to die if she has this baby."
"Do you know what the child is?"
"It's a hybrid."
"How's that possible?"
"I don't think you want to know." I grimace at the thought, as the answer had popped into my head making me want to vomit.

"We need as much information as possible Sophie, anything you can tell us helps."
"Well, you know how a couple usually has a baby, well, replace the semen with venom."
"Did the answer as a picture or words?" Emmett laughed. I looked at him with a horrified expression on my face. Which only made him laugh harder.
Ever heard of bad timing. Yeah, well Edward and Bella came in through the front door as Emmett laughed.
"Bella." I rush over to her and hug her.
"Sophie."
"Why don't you sit down, mhm? The baby is growing at an extremely fast rate, you should rest."
"So, I am pregnant. How is that possible?" As if on queue Emmett starts giggling and leaves the room to console himself.
"Let's not worry too much. Bella, you're freezing." I say as I help my sister sit down on the couch.
"I'll go get a blanket," Rosalie says before leaving the room.
Rosalie came back with a blanket and wrapped it around Bella. I pulled my sister into a gentle hug and kissed her hair.
"After Bella has rested, with your permission Bella I would like to run some tests."
"Yeah, I'm fine with that."
I better get going dad and I are supposed to be having dinner at the diner. I'll come by later to see how you are, okay?"
"Yeah, don't say anything about me being back."
"I won't."
"See you, Sophie, if you could, could you do some research about Bella's situation."
"Yeah, I'll see what my brain can come up with."
"Or watch," Emmett mumbled, but since I was still in my vampire form I heard him.
"You do realise that I'm a newborn every time I turn into my vampire form, I will beat your ass."

I left the home and ran home, I changed into my human form and grabbed Bella's keys for her truck.
I parked up outside the diner and walked in. "Hey, Soph."
"Hey, you ordered already?"
"No, not yet. You heard from Bella?"
"Um, no. I'm sure she's fine dad."
"Yeah, I just worry about her."
"I know."
"Why don't we just order pizza from here and then go home and watch a movie?"
"I'd like that, then you could tell me what's going on with you and Sue Clearwater." I grinned cheekily at his now flushed face.
"I have no idea what you are talking about. Cora?!"
Pussy.
Dad ordered and I left him at the diner and drove home to pick out the movie and some other snacks for him and me to share.
Dad got home and set the pizza on the coffee table, I gave him a beer and we sat down.
"So, you back in the game?"
"What game?"
"The dating game, duh."
"Nothing is going on."
"You've never been a good liar." I sigh.
"Fine, if you really want to know, there may be something."
"Do you like her?"
"I think I do."
"She's a lovely lady and a good cook. I'll support you and this relationship. You deserve someone to dad."
"Thanks, kiddo."
"You just have to convince her kids that you'll be good for her."
"Sophie, not helping."
"Just stating facts. Leah doesn't really like the idea of love ever since, you know."
"Yeah." Dad looked down a little bummed.
"But, I'm sure she'll warm up to you. I'll put in a good word. And Seth, well he loves everyone."
"I think Billy is suspecting something."
"I think everyone is. You don't hide your flirting dad."
"Great."
"It isn't always a bad thing."
"I can't believe I'm having this conversation with you."
"You'd be lost without me."
"Sure."
"Wow, thanks dad," I say jokingly.
"I wonder how your sister is going to take it."
"It's not like we both 100% like Eddie-boy."
"True." We both laugh and enjoy the movie.

Far Strider
A college student finds himself transported into a strange land with burgeoning magical powers, and is taken in by Ned Stark. Will he sink or swim in this medieval society, and will he ever get home? ====================== OC-insert without knowledge of Game of Thrones, new planeswalker. Slow power ramp. Second crossover: Star Wars (around chapter 39). ======================= As a note, I started this as a speed writing challenge to myself. The challenge was successful, and I managed 100,000+ words (as well as some character sheets in excel and such) over 10.5 days. Then I had to stop and let my hands recover from their burgeoning carpal tunnel syndrome. The story currently stands at around 150,000 words (or ~550 RRL pages) over 54 chapters; expect a chapter a day until I've caught up with the backlog. The focus of this story was not quality writing, and that hasn't changed. I mostly use it as my semi-guilty "I need to write something, but am not focused enough to write something good" story. Expect self-indulgent writing in general, and a bit of OP (or, well, more than just a bit if we're being honest), especially later in the story as the protagonist matures into a more full-blown Planeswalker. But if you're looking for something with a power-ramping protagonist romping around the place, something you'd be a bit embarrassed to admit liking (I know I am) but like anyways (and come on, this is RRL, so that probably describes just about everyone here who actually has shame), then this may be a nice bit of mental junk food for you.

I'm Just a Nameless Side Character in a Vampire Romance Novel
I cried myself asleep after reading the ending to the "Rose and its Thorns" only to wake up as a nameless side character that dies before the novel even begins! Rose and its Thorns is popular webnovel about Julia, the female lead who is sold by her evil stepmother as bride candidate of the Rose Empire. It's a powerful but notorious Empire ruled by Vampires and populated by all the non human races of the world. In the end she had her happily ever after with the crown prince of the Empire, but Eclis, the Grand Duke and the second male lead dies with a broken heart. The novel updated nearly every week and I read it as it published for 3 years! I don't know how I got here but I'm going to thoroughly enjoy myself in this world and correct this novel to the ending Eclis deserves! Release schedule: Wednesday, Saturday at 2:30pm PST

Moonblood
Five moons rise over Evanir, each in her own cycle, and each moon is also a god, one of five sisters. Many gods create spirit attendants and companions, brought forth fully-formed. Long ago, the moons worked together to create a lineage that are, instead, humans transformed by the mingling of blood. They intended them to be long-lived and to draw their strength directly from the light of the moon who chose each individual. The five sisters had different goals in mind – one wanted it to be a blessing for scholars and artists, to give them more time and fewer physical distractions; another wanted them to have an animal form, different for each, to keep them more in tune with nature so they could serve as guardians of the wilderness. There are drawbacks to their children having human lives and personalities before being chosen: not all share the goals of their divine mothers, and some choose to put their gifts to darker uses. Those carrying the blood of one woman, fleeing the corruption in search of a quiet life, take a different path. -=-=-=-=- Moonblood isn't so much a novel as a series of adventures of varying length. They involve a core group of people, which does grow over time. They take place in a fairly low-magic world, but despite that, our core cast are directly connected to the moons and have various abilities, including limited shapeshifting to a single individual animal form. As with all my work, unless gender, orientation, or other aspects of sexuality are explicitly stated, I suggest not making assumptions. Probably most significant, I think, is a major trans character who appears about 80K words in - no spoilers, just a note for those who care about that one way or the other.

Occultus Draconem
In an ancient time of Kings and Queens, the Humans lived in harmony with the great beings that roamed the Earth. No kingdom was more peaceful than Cadmus, where the Cadmians existed beside the greatest creatures of all, the Dragons. The ruler of Cadmus, King Anguis, although very young, was much beloved. He never turned a deaf ear to the Humans or Dragons of Cadmus, and the kingdom flourished. Under the protection of the Dragons and their Empress, Queen Maeve, paired with Anguis' extraordinary ability to keep peace, the lands prospered and grew tenfold within a few short years. Cadmus and Draconia became the greatest kingdoms known to exist. But it was not meant to last. King Anguis, barely into adulthood, was murdered in the night. His death rocked Cadmus to its core, and the Cadmians mourned with the Draconians, grieving for their beloved King. As Prince Agni, Anguis' younger brother, assumed the throne, he declared war on the Dragons, announcing that the kingdom would be Cleansed. He enlisted a brutal army of elite hunter-assassins known as the Enforcers to carry out the Cleansing, and the kingdom was consumed by a shadow of tyranny. Cadmus became a war zone, and the land of Draconia was devastated. A group of survivors of the Cleansing, Dragons disguised in Human form, created a secret society known as the Occultus Draconem. As King Agni's power grew and the Enforcers became more brutal than ever, a rebellion stirred. The Occultus Draconem began stepping in to stop the Cleansings, fighting back for the freedom of the Dragons and swearing to bring peace back to Draconia and Cadmus. But how can they succeed without the heir to the Draconian throne?
