"and where is this place"

"oh, I forgot...we're in Ruenastia "

The car stopped and I looked outside to see a white mansion. There were guards surrounding the mansion and they were wearing black. Some people came out of the mansion and they looked like slaves because they were wearing a blue dress with a white apron. A guard opened the door and prince Devon stepped out first and then I stepped out. The guard curtsied and Devon acknowledged by smiling at him. Devon walked forward and stopped to acknowledge the slaves at the front of the door who bowed. Two of the guards opened the door and I entered to face the most beautiful house I've ever seen. The floor and wall were white and the chandeliers and staircase were gold. I heard a chuckle from my left side and turned to look at Devon

"what?"

"you're drooling and we've been standing here for the past 5 minutes "

"we have?"

"yup, now lets go to my room, you must be tired"

I followed him to the elevator that was also gold. He pressed a number and the elevator stopped at the place. We walked into a hall. there were guards and slaves everywhere and infront of every door. We passed a door that said 'princess megan bloodsworth ' on it.

"You have a sister?" I asked

"yup, megan, She's my twin sister"

We walked down the hall and stopped infront of a door that had''written in cursive on it. There were 2 guards infront of the door and they both curtsied and stepped aside. Devon pressed his fingers on the finger print thingy and the door opened. Prince Devon stepped inside the room and I followed. The place was dark so I stood on a spot as Devon went to open the curtain drapes and turn the light on

The room was huge

A king size bed stood against the wall. It's sheets were gray and so was the wall and carpet

On the right, there was a huge window with a black curtain. There were fancy, charcoal couches surrounding a glass coffee table.

To the left, there was a large table with some books on it.

Further down the room, there were 2 doors, one smaller than the other. One should be the bathroom and the other....maybe a closet.

I turned to look at him and said

"wow...impressive"

"thanks, now I have to get ready for my coming of age ritual. It's 4:00 pm and the ceremony is around midnight so...I'll send a slave to show you around. And here are some clothes "he handed me a pair of ripped jeans and tank top.

"am I not supposed to wear some kinda sacred cloth?"

"nope "

"ohhkaay then, I'm gonna go take a shower "

"cool" with that, he left. I dropped the clothes on the bed and looked around. I opened the closet and saw a variety of clothes, both male and female. Maybe the female clothes were for his girlfriend. I opened the smaller door and it was the bathroom. I turned the light on. The bathroom was huge. There was a big bath tub that stood against a tall spacious shower. There was a marble sink and a mirror that covered the entire space above the sink.

I took off my clothes and stepped into the tub. There was a box that held different soaps and shampoo. I washed and toweled my body and stepped out. I forgot my clothes on the bed so I covered my body with the towel and stepped out. I walked to the bed and saw a new pair of underwear that were exactly my size. How did he even know my size? Pervert! . I took the underwear and clothes and went to the bathroom to change.I dressed up and stepped into the room and saw a girl around my age standing close to the door

"woah....who are you? "

"I'm Talia. The prince told me to show you around and also get you ready for dinner "

That's right, I haven't eaten anything for the past two days I was unconscious and I only ate one hotdog and a cup of coffee. I followed Talia out of the room and she showed me different places that I definitely will not remember. Like this mansion can house a whole country...well, depending on the country but still......

Talia was really friendly. she smiled alot and she was a slave because she wore blue and white. She showed me the indoor pool, parlours, dinning area, kitchen, pantry, ball room, wine cellar, game room, the stable, garden, outdoor pool, servants quarter, observatory, game room, study, studio, gallery, gym, billiard room and my worst enemy... Library.she couldn't show me the dungeon and torture chamber because nobody apart from the royals has access to it. She followed me back to prince Devon's room and he was already there. She curtsied and left.

"wow, this place is huge...but too bad, it was a waste of time because I'm not gonna remember anything tomorrow "

He chuckled and said "whatever, dinner is in 43 minutes and since we're both ready, lets go"

"okay"

"oh wait... " he went to the closet and brought out a black choker collar that said in bold and put it on my neck

"is it loose enough?" he asked

"yup "I popped the 'p'

"good, now remember, don't talk to anyone, don't speak except if spoken to, you address me as master in public and don't have eye contact with any vampire you see and please don't make any rude comments "

"okay "

"good, now lets go, we have only 38 more minutes " he said

I followed him to the dining with my head low. There was nobody on the dining table apart from the slaves that were serving. Devon sat down at the far end of the table and I stood beside him. Some slaves served him mouth watering food and a red liquid that I assume is blood. After some minutes, a guy sat down to the left of Devon and the slaves also served him. I took a peep and the guy looked a little bit like Devon, maybe he's his elder brother . He had brown hair but his eyes were red. A girl who I assume is his pet stood beside him. She had blonde hair and brown cat eyes. She looked scared.

"is she your pet?"the guy asked

"yeah Adrian, her name's Arielle "

"uhhhhn...my baby cousin's already having pets " he said

"of course, I got her today for my coming of age "

"uhhhhn what a waste of pure beauty " Adrian said

"what do you mean? " Devon asked

"well, since you decided to be a good kid and not drink human blood until your ceremony, you haven't yet mastered self control so you might drain her dry"Adrian said....wait...what does he mean by drain me dry?....

"Adrian, I'm not gonna loose control and kill her, besides you drank human blood before your own ceremony and you still drained your first pet" Devon said

"well...it wasn't my fault. She just couldn't stay still and it was annoying "

"and is that a sensible reason as to why you killed her?"

"whatever, the bitch was usless anyway. I still would have killed her sooner or later " Adrian said

"whatever " Devon said

"but your pet smells heavenly. I bet that you're gonna loose control . Maybe I should have followed you to the auction. My pet is getting boring. I think she's immune to my bite already. I'm gonna get rid of her today."Adrian said and the girl started crying

What! What kind of vampire is he?

"But you got her last 2 months" Devon said

"I know right. She's lucky she's still alive " Adrian said. A girl that also looked alot like Devon came and sat down at the right of Devon. She also had ocean blue eyes and wore a black dress that was short at the front revealing her long slender legs and trails to the floor at the back. She was curvy and her hair was placed in a high, tight bun. Her pet stood beside her which is beside me and guess what...her pet is a male and a very handsome one at that. He had grey eyes, blonde hair, and plump lips. He wore a black plain T-shirt and jeans. He wore a bracelet that had megan written on it. So her name is megan ...Wait...is he staring at me...oh my god he caught me. He turned around and blushed. Why is he blushing? I was the one checking him out

"you see, this is the reason why I told megan to get a female pet. he just arrived and they are already eye fucking each other " Adrian said

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat!

"come on...there's nothing wrong in checking someone out" Megan said...wait...megan, isn't she Devon's twin?..of course she is, that's why they look alike

"what's your name? "megan asked me

"Arielle "I said, not having eye contact with her

"oh, I'm megan, Devon's twin sister and he's Joshua,Joshua, say hi to Arielle "

"hi" Joshua said. His voice was somewhat deep. How the f**k did he become a pet.

"hey"I replied and Joshua blushed .I swear, I've never seen a guy blush so much. why is he always blushing, I know I'm pretty but atleast be cool about it.

"uhhhhn, they look so cute...Devon, do you think we should sign them up for breeding after our coming of age ceremony? "

"there's no way I'm gonna make my pet into a baby producing machine... Maybe you can use Adrian's pet, he's gonna kill her today so a baby might stall him a bit... "Joshua looked a bit disappointed but masked it

"Nah...I want Arielle" she said

"too bad, and I'm sure Arielle also doesn't want to breed with some random guy and besides, where's mom and dad, my food is getting cold"

"oh..."Adrian started"...they travelled to silvatorem to sort some blah blah blah "Adrian said. Vampires have funny country names. Seriously...Ruenastia, silvatorem.... Ha!

"and why are you just telling us"megan asked

"because I forgot, now eat up"Adrian said

"hey slave..... "megan called a slave "…can you please serve our pets? "

"yes princess " the slave said and left

"megan...please, Seriously..."Adrian said

"what?.. "megan asked

"you're a princess, you don't have to say please "

"but I chose to say it so..."

"your mum just had to give birth to softies..."

"and aunt just had to give birth to an idiot " Devon said

The slaves served us and more vampires came to the dining table. Some had pet while some didn't have. They all sat at the other end of the table after they all curtsied. We the pet ate our food that was surprisingly nice.

So, it's 10:00 pm and I'm in a room with Talia and Joshua. Talia is 'grooming' the both of us for the ceremony. Joshua and I have been talking and I found out that he's 19 years, he was kidnapped in the forest at night during a camp meeting with his friends when he was 17. He was sold to an auction house that was for only males. Unlike the females, the males actually exercise. Talia told us that the change will start immediately it's 12:00 am. Their features will be more pronounced and there might be some changes in their hair and eye colours......because they are royals, they are gonna have powers. We the pets are gonna be waiting outside the room during the ritual and when it's time for them to wake up, we are gonna enter the room and of course....get our blood drained...

It's 11:48 and prince Devon and princess megan are inside a room. Devon and megan wore a black cloth. Joshua and I got there 48 minutes into the ritual so I have no idea who and what is in there. Joshua is really nervous and so am I. We both have never been bitten before and there's a 59% chance that we are not gonna see the end today or wait, 12:00 is the beginning of a new day...so we have hope...

Joshua and I tried to make small talk because it was already getting boring.

"so....when were you taken?" he asked

"uhhhhn... I think two days ago"I said

"whoa...and you were bought today, that's fast..."

"yeah, when were you bought "I asked him

"yesterday... It's kinda weird 'cause I had to sleep in the same room with her. She's fun though, but she talks alot" he said

"really, Devon's pretty cool too.. He allows me to be my self... Well...except in public "I said

"do you think they're gonna change after the ritual? Talia did say that they might have a change of behaviour " he said

"I don't know, I have no idea how vampires work."

"hey, what's the time? It should be 12:00 now"

A lady came out of the room

"the prince and princess will wake in 2 minutes, ready the pets"the lady said

"okay, Joshua and Arielle. It's time. Arielle, prince Devon's room is at the right and the princess's room is at the left. This might be the last time I'll see you guys so..."Talia said and hugged the both of us

I stepped into Devon's room and saw him on a bed lying back down with his eyes closed. 41 seconds left till the change kicks in. I sat down on the chair close to the bed. 23....22....21...20...19...18...17...16...15...14...13...12..11...10...

I saw Devon shake a little

This is it. Devon started to glow... Like literally glow...like...glow to the extent that I couldn't see anything, I had to look away. Immediately it was 12:00, the glow died down and I looked at him and his eyes were open he stood up, looked at me and sniffed. He pushed me to the wall and bit down on my neck. I screamed and...........
