AN: I'm working on my other stories but I thought that I may as well give you a extra scene. This is set about 2 years later. Hope you enjoy.

He was a whole ass mess. Jesper and Wylan had been joking about how they acted like a old married couple forever but now that it was actually happening he felt like throwing up. Inej was the only one that could ever make him this nervous.

Kaz was waiting for someone to come into his room. They had decided to get married at the Slat, having had so many memories there already. Inej wasn't really into the whole planning a wedding and frankly neither was Kaz. Jesper was the one that had set everything up claiming that they only got married once. That wasn't true for everyone but in this instance it was entirely accurate. Kaz had met his equal in Inej and he'd never find anyone else.

She's also what got him into this whole mess in the first place. Loving him back was a big mistake but it's too late now. She was finally going to be legally his other half. That meant that if she changed her mind on him, she would have to hire a lawyer to get rid of him. Or she could kill him. Either way he'd be very upset with the outcome. A knock on the door drew him from his thought. It was time.

She was a whole ass mess. She had opted out of the usual frilly wedding dress for something more fitting to her personality. The black leather dress that she was now trying not to suffocate in was a dream. As soon as Inej saw it in the shop, she dragged Jesper into the store to buy it. It was a knee length v-neck and the inside was as smooth as satin. The reason she was freaking out was because her parents were out in the crowd along with the gang. Kaz had found her parents and had surprised her with them on her birthday. It was a tearful reunion with lots of hugs. They had stayed for a few days and then left back to Ravka, promising to visit again soon. And now they were back...sitting with her entire gang.

This was gonna be interesting. A knock on the door was what made her even her breathing. That was her cue. She quickly sent a prayer up to her saints, for everything to go smoothly, and opened the door.
