"Welcome to ESPN's new livestream: Exy Live! I'm your host, Corey Miller. Joining me today, from their own homes, are Kevin Day and Neil Josten; Palmetto State University's Striker Line!" The host announced, resulting in many comments scrolling up the side of Neil's computer.
From the view Neil had, three videos were displayed on his screen; one showed their host, one was Kevin, and the other was of himself. Neil was seated on the black leather couch of his living room, King curled up on one end while Sir was in the other room with Andrew. Neil and Andrew had gotten their own apartment last year, but no one except the team knew that.
"How are you boys doing today?" Corey asked as Kevin smiled, which the team always made fun of him for; it was his interview smile.
"Doing well," Kevin reported as Neil nodded in agreement. No matter how hard Neil tried, he wasn't as good at interviews as Kevin was.
"That's good to hear! Now, I have some questions for you boys that the fans have been requesting," Corey began as the two boys nodded, making themselves comfortable in order to answer the questions.
"For Neil: can you play any other positions or are you exclusively a striker? This has been a rather popular question since we watched you play at Evermore during finals last year. If I recall correctly, you were playing as a backliner," The host asked as Neil darted a look over at Kevin.
"On my little league team, I played defensive line, therefore there's a few things that I recall from my time playing that position. At the end of last year, we were desperate and Coach let me try," Neil summarized, leaving out many of the horrible details about his little league team and exactly how desperate they'd been due to the Ravens' ruthlessness.
"You learn something new every day!" Corey spoke with amazement in his tone as Neil nodded.
"Now, for the famous Kevin Day: are you still in contact with Coach Moriyama?" Corey questioned as Kevin inhaled a sharp breath. Somehow, miraculously, Kevin managed to keep himself together. Probably because he knew that Riko was dead, therefore he couldn't hurt him.
"No, I'm not in contact with their family anymore," Kevin explained as Neil looked down, both of them knowing that was a lie. They were both still sending money to the Yakuza through Ichirou Moriyama. After all, they'd promised to.
"Wait, who is that?" The interviewer questioned, resulting in confusion consuming Neil. Corey was inspecting one of their backgrounds, so Neil assumed that it was Kevin's. However, he was incorrect.
Neil turned, seeing Andrew Minyard standing in the kitchen behind the couch. Andrew wasn't paying any attention to his boyfriend, instead he was preparing a sandwich and glaring at Sir, who was meowing for attention. Andrew huffed, looking down at the cat and dropping some deli turkey on the ground for the cat to eat.
"Are you feeding him part of your sandwich?" Neil questioned, capturing Andrew's attention.
"Do you have any other ideas on how to get him to shut up?" Andrew questioned as Neil rolled his eyes.
"He's begging. You can't let him eat from the table, because then he'll think he can do it all the time," Neil explained as Andrew blankly stared back at him.
"I let you eat from the table, don't I?" Andrew retorted, fighting back a small smirk. Neil grinned, laughing weakly at that response.
"Is that one of the twins?" Corey questioned, resulting in Neil turning back towards his interview.

"Hmm? Yeah," Neil answered, but the host only seemed more confused by that confirmation. Kevin somehow looked both amused and irritated.
"Is it Aaron?" The host asked as Andrew arched an eyebrow, walking over to see what Neil was up to. When he noticed it was an interview, he seemed a bit lost.
The interviewer's confusion was completely understandable. After all, the Minyard-Josten rivalry was a rather famous one. Honestly, Neil found it hilarious. People were either convinced that they despised one another or that they were secretly in love. It was also humorous how correct some of them were. Andrew Minyard and Neil Josten were both rather vocal about how much they disliked one another, but footage from their games showed them sharing lustful eye contact or death glaring one another. Basically, finding them under the same roof that wasn't the Foxhole Court was something far from expected.
"No, it's Andrew," Neil replied as Andrew tilted his head, seeing many comments scroll up the screen at such a fast pace that he couldn't even read them. There were a lot of orange and white heart emojis.
"Why is Andrew Minyard in your house?" The host questioned next as Andrew noticed Kevin. Why did no one tell Andrew that there was some interview going on in his living room?
"That isn't the question. The real question is: why is Neil Josten in my house?" Andrew spoke as Neil looked back at Andrew, who was eating his turkey sandwich and leaning over the back of the couch. King and Sir were on the couch, both of them begging for some of Andrew's sandwich.
"See, look at what you're teaching them," Neil complained as Andrew rolled his eyes.
Out of sheer spite towards the striker, Andrew fed the cats more of the turkey from his sandwich. Neil exhaled an exasperated sigh, looking up at the blonde. Andrew was actually smirking down at Neil.
"Are you just jealous that I'm feeding them and not you?" Andrew questioned, tilting his head while observing the boy sitting on the couch.
"Maybe," Neil replied with a shrug, keeping his eyes trained on the short blonde. Andrew arched an eyebrow, but then offered Neil a bite of his sandwich; the striker took a rather large bite, resulting in Andrew smacking the back of his skull.
"He lives here," Neil responded, addressing the question that the interviewer had asked of him. Andrew climbed over the back of the couch, sitting down next to Neil. Both King and Sir placed themselves on Andrew's lap, wanting to eat more deli turkey.
"Fuck off..." Andrew grumbled, shoving the cats off of him and onto the floor. Neil shot his boyfriend a glare, not wanting him to be mean to the cats; Andrew ignored the look he was receiving from the striker.
"You two live together?" The host questioned, almost as if he was baffled by this realization.
"Yeah. Why wouldn't we?" Andrew asked, meanwhile Kevin rolled his eyes. Neil shot his boyfriend a look, wondering if they were about to confirm their relationship to the public. However, Neil decided not to worry about that too much; after all, Neil didn't mind if the whole world knew that Andrew Minyard was all his.
"Well, it's just the fact that the Minyard-Josten rivalry is a rather famous one. Therefore, it's sort of shocking to discover that you two are roommates," Corey explained as Andrew shrugged, meanwhile Sir jumped into Neil's lap and King laid on Andrew.
"How are Sir and King?" Kevin asked, arching an eyebrow at the two of his teammates. Neil gestured down towards the cats, showing them off to the livestream.

"They're good. Except now Andrew is teaching them to eat from the table," Neil complained as Andrew shot him a cold glare.
"Jesus, Neil. It was just some damn turkey," Andrew grumbled, meanwhile Neil rolled his eyes at his boyfriend's infuriation.
"Okay, I'm going to go ahead and ask the new most popular question: what is the relationship between Neil Josten and Andrew Minyard?" The interviewer questioned as Neil arched an eyebrow.
"What does that have to do with Exy?" Neil asked as Andrew fought back a laugh. Andrew both loved and hated Neil Josten's oblivious nature.
There was a knock at the door of the apartment, resulting in both boys looking back towards the front door. Andrew huffed out an exasperated sigh, leaning his head back against the couch while using both of his hands to pet King.
"Who is it?!" Andrew yelled, not wanting to answer the door unless he cared about who was on the other side. Neil listened for the response.
"Josten, you're really bad at interviews," Kevin commented as Neil shot the other striker an annoyed expression. However, the host seemed rather invested in whatever was taking place at the Minyard-Josten household.
"It's your favorite gay cousin! Oh! And your lovely twin brother is with me, too!" Nicky Hemmick's voice shouted from the other side of the door. With a huff, Andrew picked himself up off the couch and headed towards the front door. Neil watched him go, opening the door and allowing the two Foxes into their apartment.
"What do you want?" Andrew asked, opening the door and allowing Aaron and Nicky to enter their apartment. Without answering, Nicky flung himself onto the couch, draping himself over Neil and picking up Sir.
"Get off of Josten and release my kid," Andrew deadpanned from the doorway, walking up behind the couch and picking Sir out of Nicky's arms. Nicky huffed, glaring up at his cousin.
"You'd rather me cuddle with Neil instead of your cat?" Nicky asked, curling up in Neil's lap and wrapping his arms around the striker. Neil just rolled his eyes, not knowing what else to do as he looked at between Kevin and Corey; the interviewer was grinning, seeming to find this rather entertaining. Meanwhile Kevin seemed upset that the conversation had drifted away from Exy.
"Wait, what is Neil doing?" Aaron questioned from Andrew's side, his arms crossed as he examined the screen in front of Neil.
"Him and Kevin are on an ESPN Exy interview," Andrew explained as Nicky examined the screen, seeming fascinated.
"Hi Kevin!" Nicky yelled, waving to the other striker through the screen; Kevin rolled his eyes, yet waved back at the Fox. Nicky kept a tight hold on Neil, seeming interested in this interview.
"What's the question? I bet we can collectively answer this one," Nicky spoke up as Corey nodded, seeming to refocus on what he'd been doing.
"The current question is: what is the relationship between Andrew Minyard and Neil Josten," The interviewer repeated as Nicky's eyes widened, looking back at Andrew and Aaron. Aaron's eyes were wide, as well, meanwhile Andrew had his typical bored expression on his face.
"You know, that's a rather complex question," Nicky replied as Andrew shook his head.
"Not really," Andrew explained honestly, resulting in everyone turning their attention over towards him.
"Are you going to tell everyone?" Aaron questioned, sending a disgusted look towards Neil while he spoke. Andrew shot his brother a glare after seeing how he looked at Neil Josten.
"I live with Neil simply because the two of us share custody over King and Sir. However, we do seem to have different opinions on how to parent the cats," Andrew explained as Nicky laughed, meanwhile Neil rolled his eyes at that response.
"Nicky... Get off..." Neil grumbled, attempting to shove the backliner off of him, but it seemed futile. Nicky laughed, pushing more of his weight into Neil.
"Nicky's suffocating your fuck buddy," Aaron muttered in a bored voice, resulting in a loud laugh emanating from Nicky's throat; meanwhile Neil still struggled to shove the defensive player off of him. Andrew was rolling his eyes and Kevin seemed to be trying to pretend he didn't find this interaction amusing. That left the host, who seemed absolutely shocked after processing Aaron Minyard's words.
Millions of comments flooded in immediately, no one even attempting to read any of them. Corey was simply blinking in shock, watching as Neil tried to push Nicky Hemmick off of him. Meanwhile the twins stood behind the couch, seeming annoyed and bored. Without speaking, Aaron scooped up King, petting the cat while he purred and seemed glad to receive attention.
"So, wait... You two—"
"Josten's my boyfriend," Andrew blurted, which stunned everyone into silence. Andrew looked annoyed that he'd confirmed this fact, meanwhile Neil was grinning up at him. So long as Andrew was the one who informed everyone, Neil was okay with the whole world knowing. Aaron was shocked, having not expected his twin to be so blunt about it. Next was Nicky, who seemed both excited and nervous. Then there was Kevin, who seemed almost relieved that a confession had happened.
"Who is going to yell at you first, Coach or Dan? Everyone, place your bets now," Nicky yelled as Andrew rolled his eyes.
"Neither of them are going to care. This isn't their relationship," Andrew pointed out before looking back at the two Foxes who had come into their apartment.
"Now, what the hell do you two want?" Andrew demanded as Aaron looked over at his twin.
"Nicky wanted to head up to Columbia now," Aaron explained as Andrew looked at his boyfriend. Neil was looking back at him with a weak smile on his lips.
"You can go ahead and go. I don't know how long this livestream is going to take," Neil admitted as Andrew nodded slowly, almost seeming as if he didn't want to leave his boyfriend. Neil offered him a weak smile, which was filled to the brim with reassurance.
Andrew walked up behind Neil, looking down at him. Neil tilted his head back, looking up at his goalie boyfriend. Andrew nodded to Nicky and Aaron, who went to the doorway in order to wait for the other twin; then Andrew turned his attention back towards his boyfriend. Slowly, the short blonde glanced up at the laptop before meeting Neil's blue eyes once again. Inhaling a shaky breath, Andrew decided what he was going to do.
"Yes or no?" Andrew asked quietly, meanwhile Neil grinned widely; Andrew would do absolutely anything to make sure Neil Josten would always smile like that.
"Yes," Neil replied as Andrew leaned down and pushed a small peck to Neil's lips. Then Andrew grabbed his shoes and headed out the door with Aaron and Nicky.
Neil lifted his head, seeing Kevin's surprised expression and the interviewer's completely dumbfounded face. Neil Josten smiled back at the screen, seeing thousands of comments pop up and vanish in a blur. There were a lot of orange and white hearts along with some pride flags.
"Anyways, did that answer your question, Corey?"
