《The Land Of Stories: Oneshots》Oneshot #2

Red, Clawdius, and Froggy were busy preparing for the THE ENCHANTRESS IS DEAD party.
Red was busy lounging on the couch, getting her hair done.
Froggy was busy with invitations, and explaining to the messenger which letters go where.
Clawdius was just chilling.
So maybe I should change that sentence to Froggy was busy preparing.
Cinderella's stepfamily, on the other hand, were getting ready to leave with Conner.
Alex was getting ready to tell Conner that she was staying in TLOS.
Conner was busy telling the stepfamily the plan.
And Goldilocks was thinking about which necklace to steal first.
So I guess everybody was getting ready for something.
Red was quite happy with the decor, and she quickly told the servants to decorate the entire castle. Froggy was finally done with invites, and now was chilling with Clawdius. The stepfamily had everything ready. Alex was finally emotionally ready to tell Conner. Conner was also done, so he joined Clawdius and Froggy and began chilling. Goldilocks had decided that the one that Red was going to wear to the party would be the one she's going to steal. Then everybody went to chill.
Some kids saw the gang chilling and gave the couch they were using the nickname Chill Couch.
Then Conner began playing some music. (We're Chilling)(That's not a real song, just one I thought of.) Soon everyone was happy, except for Goldilocks, who heard Red tell Froggy she was going to wear multiple necklaces to the party.
. . .
It was party time. Cinderella, Rapunzel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and their husbands were all invited. Thanks to Red, Cinderella knew where all the exits were, Rapunzel had the highest seat they had because Rapunzel was the least scared of heights out of all of them, and the castle didn't have enough low chairs. Snow White didn't have any apples, even when she told Red that she was NOT allergic to apples. Sleeping Beauty's chair could switch between a really uncomfortable rickety old chair (Because the fairy Trixy (Yes, THAT Trixy) enchanted it.) that would stop her from falling asleep, a bed in case she really needed a nap, and a regular chair for when she was quite awake.

All the food were either served in woven baskets with a blanket inside for the food, or plates decorated with beautiful pictures of baskets.
Instead of their usual clothes, the royals were handed out capes and dresses attached to the capes in different colors. Cinderella got blue, Rapunzel got yellow, Snow White got white, and Sleeping Beauty got a nice shade of turquoise. Red, of course, had red. Alex and Connor were twinning in copies of the clothes they were when they first got in TLOS. They wore a copy of Conner's shirt and Alex's pants.
Now, let's put the story in Avery's point of view.
Avery smiled. She was currently a servant in Cinderella's court. She was very good, so Cindy, as she liked to call Cinderella, let her go with her to the party.
As the carriage headed towards the Red Riding Hood Queendom, (Avery also liked calling the Kingdom the Queendom) she saw people waving at the carriages. She smiled. "Your Majesty, may I go say hello to my friends?" she asked. "Okay, I/N" Cindy replied.
She cut straight through the crowd to Little Bo Peep, who was talking to that ridiculous mirror she got obsessed with these days.SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT! "Bo, that mirror leads to a guy who stole from the big FG herself. He's dangerous!" Avery warned. But Little Bo just ignored herr. Big mistake. And, if you read the whole TLOS series, you'd know exactly how big of a mistake this is.
Avery wove through the crowd, looking for 1 particular person. Jackie Brace, Avery's best friend when she still lived in the Red Riding Hood Queendom, before she moved to the Charming Queendom.
"Hi, Jackie!" I/N said. " Hi, Avery!" yelled Jackie. Jackie's other friend Jack, had been on the run for a whole year. So Jackie wasn't very happy.

"Avery!" Cindy said "Time to go!" "Bye Jackie!" "Bye Avery!"
Avery hopped onto the carriage and they headed towards the castle.
The moat used to be so little that you could jump over it, but after a remodeling by the Fairy Godmother, it was big enough to use a drawbridge! The driver parked the carriage and Cindy stepped out with Avery and another servant.
The drawbridge was decorated with bright red roses with the thorns removed. The railing was carved with vines on one side to celebrate Sleeping Beauty or Sleepyhead as I/N called her, a glass slipper sat in a basket, Hoodians waved "Anti-Apple" posters for Snowy, and towers were carved on the other railing for Rapunzel, the one princess who didn't have a nickname.
Soon, Sleepyhead, Snowy, and Rapunzel also arrived, and they entered the castle. The ballroom was in front of them, and Ready or rather, Queen Red, was perched elegantly on a throne. Then the music started, and everybody got into pairs and started dancing. The princesses were with their husbands, Ready was with Froggy, Goldilocks with Jack, and soon, the twins somehow ended up together. Avery looked at Cindy, who said:"Go dance!" Avery and Jackie looked at each other, considered the idea, and joined together. That wasn't to say they were perfectly comfortable with the idea.
Then the dance was over, and Ready made a speech.
"Now, I wish you all peace and posterity." said Red. "Prosperity, dear, prosperity!" whispered Froggy. Red had made the mistake AGAIN! "And prosperity." Red fixed.
It was time for the feast, and everybody ate loads. Jackie found a seat right next to Avery. Avery rolled her eyes. Then I/N stuffed mashed potato into his/her's mouth. Jackie grabbed a lollipop and ate it. "Mmm." he said. After loads of mashed potato, a lollipop, and a bit of salad, she was done.
Then, Bob proposed to Charlotte. Avery simply grabbed on the nearest chair, trying to catch her breath. That was SO unexpected. The Alex noticed Avery and asked:"Are you alright?" "Yep." Avery said.
Soon the party was over, and Avery left with everybody else.

No one, not even Essairyn, was who she thought she was. And not even the gods can change the destiny of the universes... A single promise shook eternity’s existence. — Fantasy || Adventure || Romance || Action || Mystery || Drama || Science Fiction — The My World To Live (MWTL) series, the alternative short name is Canaan, is comprised of three books symbolically named My World, To Live, and My World To Live. Two years prior, the entire story had been planned and detailed out from start to finish before actual writing. Thus, the story will never be dropped. While the genre is largely Fantasy, the book is comprised of many other elements including a School Life (Magic Academy) story portion. MWTL has a lot of scattered symbolism and allusions, hence, the mystery aspect. The science fiction elements progressively become more pronounced, and the slow romance is a late bloomer. The female lead is strong and independent, and her backstory and identity unravel as drivers of the plot. Expect lots of action/fighting throughout and scattered philosophical and psychological themes arising. It's a human journey to find the essence of one's living and purpose. What kind of world do I wish to live for? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I hope to share the journey with you~! Canaan's Original and New Covers: If you're curious about my art and the various covers I made for this series and other authors, I have a RR thread that makes free covers and shows art processes. [October 1, 2020 Notice: Hello, I aplogize to all followers for suddenly taking an extended hiatus. Life threw a lot at my face and then the pandemic happened, so I hadn't been able to write until around the last month when I decided to challenge myself and finish the first book in this series. I am ok now, and thank you for your patience and understanding. No words can express how much every reader means to me. RR was the first writing platform that I ever felt accomplished to any small degree, so I am forever grateful to it. Multiples changes have been made since this final revision and writing of the ending, so please see the latest chapter detailing the update. This also includes my decision to submit this story to the 2020 Wattys contest (the deadline was Sept 30th). That means I will not be posting the updated version of this story on here until the contest is over (since I doubt I'll win anyway lol). And so, if you want to read the full, now completed (woohoo!) story, please go to my Wattpad. Thank you once again, and wishing you all the very best health and happiness! FINAL UPDATE, March 7, 2021: The complete story has been re-posted after the Wattys. This version that was on Wattys is the one being re-posted. However, the Final Version (which will be on a separate book from this to remain organized, and is technically the fifth version of the story xD) will be released May 2021. For more information, please read this update linked here. Thank you to all readers for taking this two year journey with me!
