《Lion King 1 1/2 (Timon X Y/N)》Chapter 3: New Spot on the Team

Ma and Y/N took Timon a little ways away from the digging spot, Ma just dusting her son off.
"Timon, this can't go on. Just this month, you've pulled down four walls and collapsed two tunnel exits," Ma pointed out, licked her hand, then continued while trying to smooth out his hair, "We have to look after each other. Our survival depends on it."
"What's the point? All we do is dig so we can hide, and hide so we can dig," Timon remarked as Ma got his hair to stay down.
Then it puffed out everywhere, making Y/N stifle a laugh. Timon gave her a small glare before she straightened up and he just smiled as he fixed his hair.
"T, believe me when I tell you this. I don't like living here any more than you do, but sometimes, we have to eat the grubs we've been served," Y/N tried to reason.
"Then I'm a picky eater. I want to be where we don't have to dig tunnels and live with our heads stuck in the sand. What's so bad about dreaming of a better home?" Timon said, moving some grass so he could look at the view before him.
"I want to show you something. Look, you two," Ma started, noticing they were looking at her, then continued as she got them to look out there and they smiled more, "Go on, look. Look out to the horizon, past the trees, over the grasslands. Everything the light touches...belongs to someone else."
Their faces fell a bit as he let go of the grass.
"Funny. I thought you were going a whole different direction with this," Timon pointed out.
"Same," Y/N added.
"What can I say? It's nature's design," Ma said.

Then Uncle Max popped out and exclaimed as he grabbed Timon, "She's right! We're food for other animals-a moveable feast, feared by no one and eaten by all!"
"But when they die, they become the grass and we eat the grass, right?" Timon asked.
"That does sound about right," Y/N agreed.
"Not exactly. We can't digest grass. We're grass intolerant," Max said.
"Okay, Max. Thank you. You've been a big help," Ma told him, taking Timon and Y/N away.
"Meerkat-it's what's for dinner," Max declared in front of them.
"Thank you, Uncle Max," Ma concluded, pointing ahead.
"Uhh," Max groaned then left.
"I think Uncle Max dislodged one too many rocks with his skull," Timon commented, making Y/N giggle.
"But he's right, Timon," Ma said, licked her hand, tried to smooth his hair out, squashed a bug, then used it to smooth his hair down while continuing, "I just know there's a way for you to fit in here."
After smoothing his hair down, one single hair stuck up, making Timon sigh.
"All right, who's on sentry duty?" Uncle Max called.
Ma gasped then declared, "That's it. That's it-my son on sentry duty. Timon the sentry."
She then brought them toward Max as they looked at each other.
"You think Uncle Max will go for it?" Timon asked her.
"Not really," Y/N answered while shaking her head.
"Good to know," he nodded.

The Complete Alchemyst book 1
You've heard of superheroes, seen them flying across the sky, destroying great swaths of cities and ending countless innocent lives in order to defeat great evils and world-spanning threats and sell lots of sponsorships and merchandising opportunities. This is a story about the guy that is not those heroes. A supervillain in a world where making the right friends and political contacts is what separates the good guys from the bad. The Alchemyst is a story about a normal guy in a crazy world that spends his time trying to follow his dreams and conscience, working on new potions, thinking about girls, and lifting heavy shit, while trying to stay under the radar of the superheroes, supervillains, and governments that want what he can do. And occasionally turning them into makeshift melee weapons. If you enjoy The Boys, the Aberrant roleplaying game, Mystery Men, Trashy romances, Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, or SAW you may enjoy this book. Please note that this book has extremely graphic and sometimes gross fight scenes, heroes as villains, villains as heroes, opinionated and often politically incorrect characters, some graphic sex scenes, dad jokes, dirty jokes, realistic depictions of romance and flirting, bondage and dominance themes, and more than a few cuss words when they are really appropriate. This is NOT a superhero genre deconstruction. Many heroes truly are heroes, and they don't all need to be destroyed to make a good story, but it does look into the dark side of superpowers and the unreasonable and often contradictory demands placed on exceptional people.

High school life in a world where everyone has superpowers
So, um... how do I explain this simply? Okay, so... There's a girl, she's er... She's in high school, and, um... She has a superpower that mutes things? Also she lives? Yeah, sorry. The concept's too confusing isn't it? Warning: The stuff below is technically correct, but this fiction, with my other, is now on the failed pledge list. Shocking how a lack of updates for more than half a year actually meant something... Sorry for the delay, still not really up to writing for this series as of now (14/03/18 - remember I'm english, so correct) but I'm still trying to get into writing... Cover is thanks to Zenlith (WriTE's Founding Member). This fiction is signed under the 'The Pledge'... Some internet message in a forum about not dropping or giving a rushed ending in their fiction, otherwise meet the wrath of letting RRL mod Vocaloid have 'fun' with the fiction's description. So mainly for the sake of my fiction due to said wrath, I'll see this fiction through. Updates: up in the air... hopefully the day after this is edited, but we all have dreams. Warning for mild profanity, but it shouldn't happen too much for the innocent out there so don't take the warning to heart.

The Adventure of Two Mildly Sociopathic Siblings in a Poorly Designed VRMMORPG World
uhh An author who has no idea what he's doing. Read on as he regale's a tale of two siblings, whose antics inadvertantly make waves that threaten to drown all those around them. Credit for the synopsis and the story itself goes to my good friend The Sexy Warrior Poet. I'm just an add-on for posting. There will be weekly updates. Most likely. Probably. Hopefully. We'll see.
