It's been a few weeks since I went to jail and I started a business already. How did that happen, well you know people are allowed to send you things and you're allowed phonecalls. I called Kris and asked him to send me snacks, chips, chocolate, noodles. Anything that the inmates have missed from the outside.

I started selling them here and if someone needs something bad, I give it to them but now they own me. Until they pay their debt they work for me. And guess who's butt hurt about this. Donald of course, she's been trying to send her minions to corner me and try to 1v5 me but I'm not stupid, I have my ways to scare them off. Bethany is now my "bodyguard", me and her are a scary duo, with her big height and scary outside and my speed. Everyone here is starting to give me respect.

"Miss Martin!" I heard a woman call from outside my cell, I turned to look at her and she was one of the girls I've given stuff and she didn't pay for yet.

"Yes?" I said counting the money in my hands, she walked awkwardly to me.

"I- my mother couldn't send me money this week and I can't pay. Please give me another week and I'll pay everything" she begged, she looked like she just turned 19 or something what was she even doing here.

"I also own Donna and she threatened to kill me..." She cried out, I looked at Bethany and she was just looking at her with a blank face.

"What do you think Bethany?" I asked my cellmate mentioning for her to pull the girl on her feet. she shrugged her shoulders and did as I asked,

"Donna did indeed kill a woman here, so she could be telling the truth" Bethany said, I nodded and asked the girl to come closer.

"What's your name?" She was shorter than me and she had dyed grey hair, she wasn't looking at me at all she was staring at her feet.

"Tia" she replied with a small voice.

"How much money you need to give her?" I said standing up and walking to where she was standing.

"16 dollars ma'am" she replied, I counted the one dollar bills untill I reached 20. I handed her 16 and showed her the other four.

"This is for your debt and this...incase she decided to be bitch" the girl looked at me with wide eyes. She was surprised I was nice, everyone thinks I'm going to kill them if they ask to get free stuff. I mean I did threaten to kill them but of course I won't kill a woman over a pack of noodles. Unless...

When the girl stood up to leave Bethany stopped in front of the door with her arms crossed.

"Oh and now you work for me" I said with a smile, she swallowed hard and nodded slowly. I gestured for Bethany to move so the girl could leave.

"That was smart, boss" I heard Bethany say, I chuckled and threw her a chocolate bar.

"I know you like chocolate Big Beth" I said with a smile, she smiled back and nodded her head thanking me.

A few days went by and the business was going smoothly, everyone was paying on time. I was happy and everyone was happy, Tia was like a messenger for me. She'll go remind the others went it was time to pay me and she was doing a good job. She listens and she doesn't disobey any orders, I give her snack and sometimes money as a payment.

"H-help" I heard a small voice say behind me, I was laying on the bed and facing the wall. I turned around and Tia was barely holding herself up, her face was all bloody and bruised and her clothes were torn.

I jumped off the bed and caught her before she fell, I picked her up and laid her on my bed. Bethany handed me a wet cloth so I can clean Tia's face, she was crying and holding her stomach.

"What happened to you?" I asked, she cried harder and grabbed on my hand. I brushed her hair out of her face so I can clean her forehead, and she winced.

"You're gonna be okay kid" she was too young to be here, they'll kill her before she can blink. The reason why I didn't beat her or send her away that day and made her work for me instead is because I wanted to protect her, I've never had a little sister and this girl just seemed so vulnerable. If I let her be alone in this place she'll be eaten by the wolves.

"O-one of Donna's girls didn't want to pay, I told h-her I'm gonna tell you about this..." She said holding her head with a pained look.

"She decided to beat me to show you that she's not scared of you" she finished, I looked at Bethany and her knuckles were shaking from hard she was squeezing her fists.

"Bethany, look under the bed and get me something to wrap around her head" Bethany looked under the bed and pulled a clean bandage, I carefully wrapped it around Tia's head trying not her hurt.

"Can you walk Tia?" I asked softly, she nodded her head yes. I asked Bethany to help her stand up, and for Tia to take us to whoever did this to her.

She pointed to a white woman with a big ass forehead, a whole football field, and the high bun she had wasn't any help in hiding it. She was sitting along with other girls, including Donald, around a random table.

"Hey!" I yelled, they all turned to look at me. I saw them smirk and they stood up to face me.

"Is it her?" I asked Tia while pointed to the woman with the billboard forehead. She nodded and stepped closer to her.

"I heard you put you hands on my friend!" I pushed her backwards, I knew that the guards won't step in unless there was blood or someone was about to die. She chuckled and looked at her friends, she went punch me but I quickly dodged it and pulled her hand kneeing her in the guts then grabbed her head and kneed her in the face. She fell holding her face.

"Now listen up people! If someone ever dares to put their hand on Tia right here, I will shove my hand up there ass and pull their insides out! Am I fuckin clear!" I yelled taking off my red prison jacket, the woman's other friends were watching my every move and that's when I noticed Donald wasn't in front of me anymore.

With the corner of my eyes I could see someone coming towards me at full speed, I stepped back grabbing my jacket from each end and put it in front of the person, when they passed I quickly wrapped it around their neck and tightened my grip.

"You see Donald right here tried to fool me! Attack me! That's a big mistake, because if I don't let go right now she'll suffocate to death. Do you want to end up like fuckin Donald?!" She was scratching and trying to push me away but of course she couldn't when I saw the guards coming towards us I let her go and she fell on her ass holding her neck.

"Martin!" The guard warned, I pulled my hands up in surrender and backed away from Donald who was pulled away by her minions.

"Sorry Tammy won't happen again!" I yelled sarcastically to the guard with a smile, she rolled her eyes and went back to her place. I picked up my jacket from the floor and went back to my cell with Bethany and Tia on my tail.

"Thank you ma'am" I heard her say, I smiled and nodded my head.

"Stop calling me ma'am I'm only a few years older Tia" I chuckled, I have a feeling I'll be missing this place when I go out.

"How long do you have till you go, Tia?" I asked her,

"I have 4 months left" she said politely, I nodded and laid back on the bed. I pointed to the snacks and she looked at me confused.

"You want anything before you go back to your cell?" I asked, she shook her head no and stood up to leave.

"Bethany, walk her to the cell will you?" I ordered, prison life is good when everyone is scared of you.
