My empire has grew bigger as the years went by, I served two years so far and I was waiting for a release order. Which was for this week, no one knew about it except Katrina because I told her not to tell anyone. I wanted to surprise everyone.

"Boss, another order from cell number 45A" a woman said from the door, I nodded and she handed Betb the paper with the stuff the inmates in cell number 45A want along with the money.

"Two noodle packs, two chocolate bars and two bags of chips" Beth read out loud while picking up the stuff.

"That would be 20$" I said, I counted the one dollar bills in my hand and it was two dollars short.

"I'm afraid I can't give you this unless I have my money" I stood up and walked to the woman, she was scared to talk to me or even look at me. She knew I wasn't one to mess with, and they were trying to trick me by handing me a handful of bills to make it look like the right amount.

The woman put her hand in her pockets and pulled out two dollars, I yanked the bills from her with a smirk and then Beth handed her the stuff.

"Shop with us again!" I yelled as I watched her disappear to her cell, I sighed and laid back on my bed. I miss Tia, she comes to see Beth on her visit days which is great but I don't get to see her.

"Martin! The warden is asking for you" I rolled my eyes at the guard's words and stood up. They of course had to cuff me because I'm a criminal and they're scared I might hurt him.

"Mr Ferguson! How are you doing? I wonder why you've asked for me, I've been nothing but a good inmate. I do my job on time, my girls been doing their jobs" he sighed annoyed with my speech and just asked me to shut up, I laid back on my seat and he handed me papers.

"These are your release papers, from the court. Now please sign and pack your shit and leave my prison. Please don't ever come back again" he begged holding his head between his hands, I chuckled and quickly signed the papers.

After going back to my cell and getting my stuff, I bid goodbye to my friend Big Beth and told her I'll come check on her. I was escorted out of the facility where Katrina was waiting for me.

"Sup Kat" I said getting in the car, she stared at my exposed neck and arms.

"You got ur neck tattooed?" She asked, I smile and nodded my head. I've added more tattoos to my body collection, I was bored and of course I had to do something about it.

"What? It means I'm cool" I replied with a smile. I asked her to drive me to her house so I can shower and bring me a suit because I wanted to go surprise Nadine at school.

"You know where everything is, and your men will bring your suit in a few minutes" Katrina replied, I nodded and jumped in the shower. I felt the warm water caress my skin, I could finally relax and not be paranoid that someone will stab you in the back. I didn't know how long I took to get out of there but it was a while since Katrina was checking if I was still alive.

"Nadine gets out at 12, you should hurry up before Avah gets there first" I smiled widely and quickly wore my suit and fixed my hair. I was so excited to see that kid, she deserved to be loved and taken care of and I was going to make sure she was getting that.

My driver was waiting for me in front of the apartment building where Katrina lived and I got in asking him to take me to the school. I reached the place and I saw parents all over the place, kids running around and screaming. I got out putting my sunglasses on, I knew everyone's attention was on me and I sighed annoyed.

"Old people..." I mumbled, I went towards the main doors and looked around for a small figure with long black hair who's also Avah's kid and I saw her with a little boy, when I looked closely I could tell Nadine was crying. I went to them and hovered over the ginger kid who was bullying Nadine.

"Is there a problem here?" I asked pushed my sunglasses on my head, Nadine's eyes shot up and stared at me in confusion. She rubbed them softly to see if I was real or not.

"Henry right?" I asked, he nodded his head slowly. I could tell he was scared and I loved it. Nadine stepped closer to me hugging my legs and I softly ruffled her hair.

"You think it's okay to bully people? Because if you do, I'm gonna kidnap you and sell you on the local market...as sausage" I said with a smile so no one would think I was actually threatening a 6 year old boy. His eyes were wide and his face was pale, I could tell he wanted to cry but he was holding it in.

"Yeah you sausage!" Nadine said kicking him in the leg, I laughed at her try to insult him which was very cute and not insulting at all. But I was happy she got to say something back to him. I watched as his lip twitched and he let out a loud cry catching everyone's attention, I rolled my eyes and gave my hand to Nadine to hold.

"Nice one Kali" I heard her say, I smiled and got out of the place.

"Mommy!" Nadine let go of my hand and went running to Avah who was too stunned to react because she was staring at me in surprise. I walked towards them and stood right in front of her, she was still short and I still had to look down at her.

"Hello princess" I said with a smile, her beautiful eyes stared at me in surprise the same way Nadine did earlier because she couldn't believe I was standing in front of her. She smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck, mine snuck around her waist and I pulled her to me in a a tight embrace.

"I-I'm gl-lad you're h-here" she whispered, I quickly pulled away stunned that she could actually speak. I was so happy that I could finally hear her voice again, I picked her up and twirled her around, her giggles were so soft and I loved how they rung in my ears.

I put her down and I found her smiling from ear to ear, she had such a beautiful smile and plump lips and all I wanted to do right now was kiss them. But I felt a little hand on my thigh push me away and I looked down at Nadine.

"Now now Kali, we agreed on scaring Henry not kissing my mom" she said crossing her arms, I chuckled and pulled my hands up in surrounded. But not before stealing a kiss from Avah.

"Hey!" Nadine yelled and tried to catch me but I was too fast. I ran around Avah and used her as a shield while Nadine tried to kick me, I'll be damned to let a 6 years old win in any game, anything is a competition even if it's against a child.

"You're too slow" I smirked at Nadine, who was still glaring at me from afar. I waved to the driver and asked him to leave and that I was going to catch a ride with Avah.

"Come on my ladies, let's go home" I said, before I could take a step forward I felt a sting in my leg. I hissed and held my knee in pain, this stupid kid just kicked me with her pointy shoes. I glared at her and she just smirked and hid behind Avah while wiggling her eyebrows at me.

That's when I realized, I would never want to see this kid upset. I'll try my best to make her smile and feel happy, I'll always be there for her and protect her.
