《Giant Love》Chapter 6 - Friends

Dream woke up. He stretches and sees he's in his cave. He checks his hoodie pocket and remembers George. He took out the sleepy human as he yawned, rubbing his eyes and adjusting them to the light. His chocolate brown eyes stared into the emerald green ones. Both blushed and smiled
"Good morning, Dream!" George says as Dream placed him on the table. He sighed, "Dream is my nickname." George was confused. Dream answered, "Clay. My name's Clay. Call me that when we're alone, but not in public." George blushed. He loves that name. He motions Dream to lean closer
The giant bent his head to George's level. The human walked closer and kissed Clay's forehead. The giant blushes and grabs George. He rubbed George using his cheek as George laughed
They felt safe, but Clay knew he wasn't. He placed George on his shoulder. He walked out and spotted Techno. He had the military, hunters, the government, and the president. He was explaining about the giant. He gave them a description of how Clay looked like. Sadly, the hunter described Clay in perfect description
He had a drawing of how he looks like. Clay saw it matched. He heard Techno giving directions to the military and sending them off. The president stayed with Techno as he led him to a safer location
Dream placed George at the window dorm and shrank. He climbed into the window as both boys packed their stuff. "Dream, may I call 2 friends? They can help! They have the same dream like me with giants!" George says as the blonde nodded
George searched his contacts and found the first one. He called and waited
: Hello?
: Darryl! I need your help!
: With what?
: Remember when we wished we could see a giant?

: That was a long time ago! They don't exist!
: Check the news, Bad
: Holy muffin! Who is it?
: He's with me
: Did you call Sapnap?
: I am about to. Meet me at the forest near the college I go to!
: Ok! See ya!
George called Nick. His nickname Sapnap was given by his older brother. George explained to Nick everything and he agreed to join. Dream and George waited in the forest. They hear footsteps and noticed 2 boys.
One had a black turtleneck with a white shirt over and a flame logo. The other had a black hoodie with red outline. He wore glasses and his brown eyes nearly matched George's. He looked at Dream and smiled, "Hi! I'm Darryl! You can call me Bad! It's my nickname!"
"Though he is the opposite of bad. It's ironic. I am Nick! You can call me Sapnap, though!" the Texan replied. Dream smiled
"My name's Dream, well, my nickname. I'd rather not say my real name." "Please?" Bad begged as he looked at Dream's eyes, "Oh my goodness! Your eyes are beautiful!"
Nick laughed. He and Bad stared at Dream's eyes. "Stop staring! We have to hide Dream away from the hunters!" George blushed as Dream wheezed. "You jealous?" Dream asked as George looked away. Dream hugged George and surprised him. He kissed George on the mouth. Both kissed and separated
George was a blushing mess. Dream blushed as Sapnap and Bad saw the thing. Sapnap was a bit disgusted, but he was happy. Bad clapped and awed at the scenery. George looked at his friends, "We have to protect Dream. He's the giant they're after. Techno wants to kill him! I can't let him! He and I...well...you saw."
"How is he the giant? I mean, he's tall, but not at exaggerated height," Sapnap says as he looks at Dream. Dream leads the group to his cave. It was a long walk, but at least they were hidden. He looks at the place. It was huge! He sighs, "This is my home. I live alone. Techno's parents killed mine. I wanted revenge, but I decided not to."

Bad feels a tear streaming down as Sapnap crossed his arms. He looked at Dream crying. He patted his back. Later, he saw Dream getting bigger. He grew to his giant size and looked down at the humans. Sapnap and Bad gasped as Dream scrunched down. He smiled, "By the way, my name's Clay. I know I wasn't going to tell you, but it's my choice."
Bad smiled and touched the giant's nose. He could see the glow on his eyes, the soft freckles, and the beauty of his face close up. Sapnap smiled as he asked to be picked up. Dream grabbed Sapnap. The human felt the giant's warm hand holding his body. The giant's fingers clenched into a firm fist. He placed Sapnap on his shoulder as he laughed
Suddenly, Dream's cave shook. He looked up to see some pebbles falling. "Get underneath me!" Dream ordered as Bad and George ran underneath Dream. He grabbed Sapnap and placed him with his friends. Rocks fell as Dream crouched, shielding the humans. He screamed in pain as rocks fell on his back. A shower came as he had to feel the pain sting as more showered
"We found him!" they heard a voice. Techno looked at Dream as he looked up. The human was on top of his cave as the military looked at the giant crouching down. He stood up and they noticed some boys. "Don't worry! We'll save you from this beast!" a voice called as Dream felt anger bubbling inside
He got on his feet, making the humans fear him more. He grabbed George, Sapnap, and Bad and placed them in his pocket. "Hold on!" he says and runs away. The military watched the giant run off in strides. Techno growls, "Follow him! I need him!"

Derai knew nothing more than being an orphan, but when a merchant took her in, the world she thought impossible soon became a reality. Monghe, stuck in a school exemplifying strength for most of his life, began to understand what he needed to do in order to be strong instead of weak. Story is mostly about nothing. Fermboi does most of the nothing. Aventina does most of the military things. Bolahulag does a balance of economy and military. Derai focuses on economy. Monghe spitfires what it means to be a typical hero. Hopefully this is enough to give a general idea to people who don’t like going blind aside from the work being purportedly “good.” Who am I kidding, my writing is terrible. I hope it improves though.
