People were starting to settle in the arena benches as the ceremony was about to start. It was Thursday. Cheerful voices, huge smiles and murmurs confirmed how much students were excited.
Gwen and Leo were busy taking their selfies as Nate was involved in some discussion with coach all dressed same as teammates in our black and fawn jersey while Rachel was sitting beside her friends on bleachers gossiping about something very exciting, and here I was waiting for Ethan who didn't come yet.
After I went home from hospital and talking to Grace, all I did was trying to think of a way to get to the only evidence which was somewhere inside this school. I couldn't sleep all night because my mind was restless. As if the monsters were trying to take control over it.
None of my friends knew about it as I didn't want to put them in danger.
I checked my watch, taping my foot in anticipation. Just then my eyes fell on the entrance as Ethan stepped in with a scowl on his face. His father behind him in a dark blue three piece suit. A fake smile plastered on his wicked face as he shook hands with the principal.
It was unbelievable how a person could have two so different personas. I clearly remember his words when I ran after Ethan to the airport soaked in rain, begged him to let me talk to him but instead of doing that he said,
'People like you don't match our status, stay hidden in your manhole cause that's where you belong. Ethan doesn't want you near him. Stop chasing after him. Filthy gold diggers.'
As I snapped out of this ugly trance I saw Ethan with his scowl now switched with a calm and happy expressions. Surely his father must be the reason of his scowl and disturbed facial expressions.
Engulfing me in his arms protectively he bend us down slightly and kissed me.
"Hey sweet cheeks," Je whispered with amusement filled in his eyes.
I grinned brushing my nose with his. "Hey! You're almost late, where have you been? I've been waiting for you and sweet cheeks? Seriously!"
"It was mo-
"Aria?" A voice called out my name cutting off Ethan in the mid. The soft familiarity of it made me drop my grin and look behind him.
"Aunt Jane!" A shocked whispered came out of me seeing the only person who treated me as my own mother. I broke his embrace and strode towards her as she engulfed me in a big warm hug.
She was an elegant women, all dressed in green dressed hugging her body with high heels, to match their class.
She never liked high heels.
The scent of Ethan's mother made me feel like I was in my own mother's arms.

"Aw I missed you so much, how are you Aria, it's been such a long time, God you're more pretty than I last saw you," She said backing away and caressed my cheek.
The last time we met was when I begged her to tell me where his son went and I knew her tongue was tide with her husbands hunter. Looking at her after so long made me so serene.
"I'm fine Aunt, how are you? I've been wanting to meet you but you know this tournament and all. I'm so sorry I couldn't-" My apology made her eyes mold into crescent shimmered moons.
"It's okay sweetie but I'm glad you both sorted things out though I knew he couldn't live without you by his side," She amused looking to me than to Ethan. A flame of scarlet crept in a swift diagonal across his cheeks.
He was blushing again.
"Aria, Ethan take a seat with your mates now," Cooach Lee ordered us as the ceremony was starting. I gave a squeeze to Aunts soft palms before we all took our respective seats. The fact that only students were allowed in this ceremony made me a little bit upset for Dad that he couldn't come.
Blake called this morning too. He told me Granna was fine and was asking for dad. I assured him and asked If by any chance he could come for my match but unfortunately his stupid job of being a cop came as a barrier in between us.
It's been years I met my brother. My Blakey-Flakey. I grinned as I thought.
Ethan's parents were here as chief guests because of the huge amount of fund was coming from his father and If I'd think about it, that's the only good thing he has done ever. The death stare he was sliding my way not only irritated me but also I felt heartbroken for Ethan, who had to live with him.
I knew he was doing that for her mother. Although he knew his father never approved of our relationship but still we never cared.
After a good fifteen minutes, I knew it was time for my plan to happen. I stood to leave but Gwen held my hand.
"Where are you going?"
"Washroom, will be back in a minute" I whispered as I looked around but everything was hidden in the veil of lights out. Students were busy in figure skating and taking it's benefit I stepped out of the arena.
Luckily no one saw me.
With fast steps echoing in these walls I made my way to Janitor's closet, took out an iron rod which had a sharp pointed end. I had no idea why it was there in the first place but it was gonna help me now and that's the only thing that mattered.
Making my way to the other end of the corridor where I remembered Grace fell from. The fact that Max knew no one would come here, he pushed Grace from the stairs which were on the other side of the corridor.

Coward!
I eyed the numbers written on the door. 491 The room which I was familiar with.
None other than Art room.
Why the hell I never knew it'd be this. I'd been coming to music room but never to this one. This room's wall was under construction last year.
Exactly when we had our match.
Still being outside I kneeled and knocked on the wall beside the room. Just as I thought it was of cardboard.
They never finished it properly.
Holding the iron rod I pushed it into the cardboard wall and angled it upwards. A small piece of cardboard came out and after some attempts there was a hole enough for my hand to fit in.
Waving my hand in air to clear the dust, I sighed and wiped the sweat beads on my forehead before inserted my right hand inside and moved it around but only dross and waste of cardboards met my fingers.
"Damn it has to be somewhere here." I muttered before something heavy grazed my hand.
Was it?
Pausing for a second I picked it up before took it out. Covered with a lot of dust in my hand was Grace's cell phone. I bit my lower lip forcing back a huge smile.
I pressed the power button but it had been a year so it must be dead but it wasn't any of my work. The card in it was.
"Oh finally you found it," I gasped turned around to a silhouette of a person. "I've been looking for it for so long, you know."
Max.
Standing on my feet I glared at him clutching the phone tight in my fist. Even though I knew I was scared as shit, I didn't show it on outside.
"Yeah I found it finally Max and now you're going to be locked up behind those bars," I declared to which he started laughing out loud. My eyes furrowed together.
His evil snort made my heart thump inside my chest with fear.
"Me? Don't be a fool Aria. You think you can go out, show this to people and boom, victory will be yours? No darling cause there's no way I'm letting you go from here with that," J
He gave me his sinister smile pointing at my hand which had phone in it while stared at me with dark orbs.
I stepped back concealing my hand behind by back. From my peripheral region my eyes cut to the rod which I used before but as he sensed it he strode towards it at the same time I did. Twisting my arm behind me he held me close making me yelp loudly.
"Aww fragile poor girl you're Aria. You thought I won't come for you. All this time I've been eyeing you...You know for what," He said over shoulder before whispering. "For this. I knew you'd be my pawn in finding this."
"Leave me you asshole!" I screamed but he twisted my arm more making me eyes teared up. Pushing me against the wall my face facing it, he started to uncurl my fist but I held it tight and kicked him back in his groin so hard but fuck he didn't budge.
"Bad move bitch," He roughly digged his nails in my skin and took the cell phone. I resisted with all my will power but he had it.
"You very well know, it was you who supposed to die that day not Beth," He snickered. "But still you're here pathetic bitch. You know that there's something you still don't know baby."
My eyes sinked in perplexity but he answered. "It's not me who planned it all Aria. There's someone else you are unaware of," With that he stepped back.
I didn't focus on his words that time. All I was thinking was the only evidence he had that could prove my innocence and his guilt.
"That's mine Max give it to me!" I marched in his direction but he fastly took the memory card out of the cell phone threw the case before suspend the card in the air. I paused eyes widened cause the next thing he took out was his lighter.
No way!
"NO!"
That was the moment I cursed for my short 5'5 height.
"YOU FREAKING ASSHOLE, NO!" I jumped, hitting his chest and scratched his neck with my nails but still it was too high for me to reach it.
The card was melting, deforming it's shape with black liquid cascading down on the floor.
"There...Your precious memory card. Have a great night ahead," He dropped the memory card to ground before walked away. I stooped down on my knees and tried to touch it. The unpleasant fumes of it were making me dizzy.
The deformed shaped of it made my drowned to the ground completely. Broken...
Now what?
My blood boiled before I screamed loudly in agony."Argh!!!."
He'd not just come and do this to me. "Why the hell are you so weak Aria? WHY!! WHY ARE YOU SO FUCKING WEAK!"
I calmed myself down and took the card from ground helplessly before put it in my pocket. Even though it was of no use now my heart still didn't want to leave it there.
After that I didn't remember how but I somehow managed to make it to my house.
I lost everything...
Ethan wouldn't believe me?
No one would...

All Stats Random
Un-reality, the greatest game in the century just launched and Chris starts to play it. He wants to change his circumstances, which are through no fault of his own. But fate doesn't let it be that simple. He gets a hidden unique class, but that class has a special ability, one that randomizes all his stats whenever it wants? What? The world truly can't be fair to him. Not even in a game. Now he has to figure out a way to make this odd quirk of his class work. When he smiles, the world loves him. When he laughs, the world fears him. (and that was my stab at trying to imitate those chinese synopses) Regular chapters, once or twice per week. On the weekends usually. I will finish this novel, be it takes 1 year or 2. It will get a proper ending. Afterall, the ending is paramount. Also, the readers might feel rewarded if they look closely while reading. I try to be quite mindful and put in interesting details or things that would come into play later. And, personally i think that reviews on this site might as well be pointless. Unless you know the reviewer and think that you share his views. Your thoughts on a particular thing (like a novel) can differ from others. So, do give it a try before arbitrarily deciding. This is my try to perfect the 'master of all/everything' type of MC, inside a proper, realistic VR world, from a game design perspective and immersion and no convenient 'convert gold to irl currency' button. It is going to be a game first of all. Not a fantasy world overloaden with status screens and skills you can't possibly keep track of. A game with all of the real world aspects to it. Not a cheap fantasy world with shoehorned in stats.

Law of Divine Gates
What is transcendence? There are those on countless planets who believe creation ended with them. The notion that they are God's chosen people, and nothing else existed beyond them became a firmly rooted ideal. An arrogant assertion you say? Well there you have it, ignorance is something mortals never have a lack of. This is not transcendence, to transcend is to explore the limits of existence, to constantly grow, and lay claim to all the universe has to offer. Transcendence is to not be constrained by ideals, or the planet of your birth, to transcend is to leave behind your Mortal shell, to challenge heaven's law, and formulate your own. Heaven would see mortals bowed in servitude until the end of their days, to reincarnate, and begin another lifetime of worship, giving praise to the gods. A young demon accidentally stepped through the gateway of endless possibilities, will he succumb to heaven's authority?
