《Marigold; Adventures of Scarlet Lady and Chat》Chapter 1

"Have a good day, Mr! And watch out for cars!" Called the pigtailed girl as she ran off with a crushed box of croissants.
Master Fu smiled as he watched her enter her school, "It's her Wayzz. She shall be Ladybug!"
Wayzz nodded and looked down at the small box in Master Fu's hand.
"Now we just have to give her the miraculous..."
And that's where things went wrong. Hey guys! It's the pigtailed girl. My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng, AKA Ladybug. You guys know me, and my amazing partner/'secret' crush Adrien Agreste, AKA Chat Noir. You also probably know of HawkMoth, AKA Gabriel Agreste. And if you know all that, you also know about my best friends, Nino (Carapace) and Alya (Rena Rouge)...and of course, my frenemy, Chloe (Queen Bee).
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir. You've all seen the show, you know the drill...but what if I told you a different story?
This story takes place in a different time frame... actually, a different zone of space. The Universe is a dangerous place...and if even one little thing sets it off balance, another reality is shaped till it comes back in place with the correct reality.
Make sense? It shouldn't.
Anyhow, I guess what I'm trying to get across is, something happened. That something is called Chloe. This is where my reality came into being...and it all started with Wayzz saying, 'Now we just have to give her the miraculous'.
From there, everything went wrong...wanna hear? Great. I mean, you don't really have much of a choice...you'll hear the story sometime if not today. Minus well just read it and get it over with now. ;) The day it happened was just like any other first day of school...awful.
"Have a good day, Mr! And watch out for cars!" I called, running across the street.
I was gonna be so late for class.

I burst into the schoolroom and ran up to my seat only to find-
"Why look who it is? Marinette Dupain-Cheng." Oh no...
"Chloe...we have this argument every year! This is my seat-" I began to argue.
There she was. Daddy's little angel sitting on her golden throne.
I'd known Chloe Bourgeois for...well, forever. (Sadly. It makes me wonder if there was ever a moment of complete happiness in my life without her ruining it)
"New year, new classes, new seats," Sabrina, Chloe's little minion piped in.
"Please Chloe, just give me my seat back," I asked as nicely as I could muster.
"No way! Adrien is coming to school, and he's going to be sitting there," Chloe pointed to the seat in front of her, "So I will be sitting here. Deal with it MariTRASH!"
"I-I-"
"Hey! Stop picking on her!" A voice called.
A girl with long chestnut hair grabbed my arm and stood protectively in front of me, "Oh look, Sabrina! Looks like we've got a superhero right here in our very own class! I feel so honored!" Chloe laughed evilly, Sabrina joining her.
I flinched back, but the girl with chestnut hair flashed me a smile, "Come sit by me. They're not worth our time," She said, nodding at Chloe and Sabrina. Chloe rolled her eyes.
She led me to her seat and sat me down, "Hey, my name's Alya, and don't worry about those two brats. They're not worth our time. Majestia says, 'all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing'. You and me, we're the good people. But those girls? They're just plain evil!"
I laughed, "Nice to meet you Alya. I'm Marinette."
Alya smiled.
"Aww, the two dirty rats are friends now!" Chloe's voice rang out.
The moment Chloe said those exact words, the Universe shifted.
There seemed to be a loud crash of thunder that everyone felt, but no one comprehended. In the timeline of the Universe that should have happened, Chloe bit back those words and I gave Alya a croissant ...but my version of the Universe was changed.

Now, everything continued as normal but little did I know that my future was now something that shouldn't have happened.
Meanwhile, Chloe continued talking, "Well, I mean, Marinette has been garbage her entire life, and that new Alya girl...well she's nothing but a piece of-"
I suddenly felt a rush of anger spread over me. I slammed a hand down on Chloe's desk.
"Chloe. NEVER speak about Alya that way again! Got that?" I growled. I might let Chloe push me around more than I'd like to admit, but there was NO WAY I was letting her get to Alya. I couldn't just stand by while Chloe trashed someone just because they were new. I wouldn't let her treat anyone else like she treated me.
Chloe looked shocked, but then laughed, "Oh! What a hero! Get real Maritrash! You're a nobody! And so is your new friend!"
Then, for the first time in my life, I let my exact thoughts about Chloe Burgoise leak out of my mouth. Words that would fill me with guilt in the future, "At least I have friends Chloe. Look at you. Everyone in the entire school knows you just let Sabrina hang around you to be your slave. Don't you see, Chloe? You don't have friends. And for someone as rich as you are, you can never buy yourself some true ones. Or a heart for that matter! And that is the saddest, most pathetic thing I've ever seen! Got that Chloe Bourgeois? You are the most pathetic thing I've ever seen!"
Then I walked back to my desk and sat down...the words I've been wanting to say for years were spilled out, and my heart was full...but it wasn't full of relief, happiness, or even justice. It was filled to the brim with guilt and self-hatred. What had I just said?
Then the teacher walked in.
............................................................................
Chloe entered the Dupain-Cheng bakery, trying not to cringe at...everything. It was too...foody. And so unfashionable! Not a hot pink sparkly object in sight!
No one was around, so Chloe ran to the back and up to Marinette's room.
"Come on, come on...where is it?" She murmured to herself.
Then she found it. A small box under Marinette's bed.
She opened it and pulled out a pink book. She opened it and smiled, "Marinette's diary. I swear, I'm gonna ruin that little brat's life."
Chloe ran downstairs with the book. As she was about to exit the bakery she suddenly bumped into an old man.
She fell, and the diary slid from her grasp, opening.
The man frowned when he saw it and said, "Young lady, what are you doing with Marinette's diary?"
Chloe panicked, and hurriedly said, "I'm Marinette. It's my diary."
She tried to pick it up, but the old man was quicker.
"Give that here now! Marinette is a piece of garbage and deserves what I'm gonna give her!" Chloe screeched.
The old man held the book tighter, "Young lady, stealing is-"
But he didn't finish the sentence.
Chloe lunged at him, trying to grab the diary, but instead ended up with a small box that had been in the man's hand a moment before.
The man seemed to go pale, "Give that here. Now. It's not meant for you."
Chloe growled, "Who's it meant for then? Marinette? Well, she'll never get it now!" Then Chloe ran from the bakery.
"Come back, young lady! Now! You do not understand what you possess-"
But she was gone.
The old man whispered to the small kwami in his coat pocket, "Wayzz...what have I done? Paris is doomed."

Blind As a Bat [1st book complete]
Book 1 He was cast to the edges of his clan. His father could not stand to even look at him. His baby sister probably didn't even know he was her brother... All because he, unlike all other vampire (The correct terminology will be Wanpyrkos; van-peer-coe-s) kind, was born blind. And what do all creatures do to those that are different, those that do not fit society, those that they think should not have been born to this civilized society...? [Book Cover Made by the wonderful THEMIDNIGHTECLIPSE13] - thank you! I'm only introducing the perspective of the main character for the first part. Things change drastically soon after that. [BDSM entries are clearly marked and written so they can be skipped without affecting the story] ***A couple scenes to whet your palate*** 1. "Uh, we heal from pretty much everything and anything. Have you ever tried physically damaging your eyes to see if they would fully heal?" "N-no. No, it doesn't work," I forced out, my voice a little strangled and cracking before hardening. "And stuff like that, isn't that just wrong?! Hurting someone just to 'fix' them." 2. I leaned and he met me, our soft lips touching and moving perfectly on each other's. I felt as his tongue ran the slit of my lips, my tongue coming to graze it as it passed over, knowing doing so was like catnip to him. He leaned closer, and I shivered as his hands ran from low on my hips and grazed along and up my ribs, pulling my chest closer to his so my body arched and rubbed against him. I hummed in appreciation. [warning: so far aggressive or physical bullying and maybe a little kidnappage and sexual themes as well as possible trigger warnings]
