《Why Dont You Love Me?》Chapter 8

I pursed my lips together as Jamie held out an outfit towards me.
"I'm not wearing that." I said sternly.
"Megan!" He laughed as his brown hair swished to the right and he pushed the outfit closer towards me.
"No!" I yelled back. I took a step back and narrowed my eyes. "I will fight you."
"A toothpick? Fighting me? Hahahaaha! You make me laugh!"
I raised my eyebrows a bit dangerously and giggled when I saw Nash's figure walk into the room. "You're right, Jamie. I could never, ever touch or beat you."
"That's right! Hah, I win."
"Buuuttt..." I said bobbling my head a bit, then nodding nonchalantly to Nash.
"I can!" Nash yelled happily as he pounced onto Jamie's body. I bursted out into laugher watching Nash and Jamie wrestle. It wasnt even wrestling.. It was more like watching a tall man beat up on the shorter guy but the shorter guy was winning. It was quiet entertaining.
It's been about a week since I've been here and the cuts on my arm have pretty much healed and turned into little scabs. Jamie's pretty much become like my older brother and Nash and Ian have like become my dad's. It's so surreal to know that I am best friends with them. It really is. Ryan, on the other, hand keeps popping in and out of places. One day he's here and the next day he's gone again. The Three Musketeers and I have been worried about him lately.
But he's here today, which is a good thing cause I may need him. Today was the day that the boys were taking me to an interview to watch. I stepped over Jamie and Nash and walked downstairs to where Ian and Ryan were. They were talking quietly at the table about some girl named Morgan, which seeing as though I pretttty much know everything about him, was never a good thing. Morgan's his ex girlfrend, crazy? Not really. Mean? Yeah, most definitely.
I held my breath as they both turned to look at me.
"Hey Megster!" Ryan smiled.
"Hey Ry," I smiled back.
"You're still not ready?" He let out a slight chuckle. I couldnt help but to blush and nod.
"Jamie wants me to wear a dress!!" I whined.
Ryan raised his eyebrows a bit then pursed his lips. He looked up at me and with a grin, nodded his head.
"You'd look good in a dress."
I raised my eyebrows at him and giggled a bit before a smile spread across my lips. I looked over at Ian who had a goofy smile across his face.

"What?" I asked him.
"Nothing!" He got up and with a smile, took my write and led me back up to my room. Ryan followed behind, giving me a shove up the stairs. "We have an hour before we have to be there!"
"Ryan, this is a hectic schedule for me!" I protested but followed Ian anyways. Nash and Jamie were still pig piled on the floor, but not wrestling.
"Hi guys," Ryan said. "Everything okay?"
Nash whispered something into Jamie's ear and with a nod, Jamie ran out. Nash smiled a bit too innocently before following Jamie out.
"How is it I'm always left with two of you, and not the whole band?" I asked with a giggle. Ian and Ryan laughed before grabbing the dress that was on the floor and handing it to me. I whined before grabbibg the dress.
"March!" Ian said. "Dont give me any hassle young lady!"
"Yes, father." I said playfully before turning on my heels and walking into the bathroom.
"I am your father!" He called playfully back. I rolled my eyes as a sarcastic laugh escaped my mouth. I looked at the dress in my hands. It wasnt that bad I suppose, It was kind of one the short side, but all black, long sleeved with an x shape pattern in the back. Julianna gave me black high heels to go along with it. I didnt know if she was joking or not with the heels. Those alone would be my down fall. I took a deep breath in before sliding out of the clothes I was in and replacing them with the black dress. I took a look in the mirror, feeling a bit curios. The sight I saw was different. The dress hugged my curves without over doing them. It was subtle, cute almost. I quickly re-straightened my hair, giving it some more shine and volume. I then started to put on the essentials; make up. I first started off by dabbing some lotion onto my face and rubbing that it. I followed that putting on my foundation and bronzer, mixing it all in until I had the final tone I needed to match the rest of my skin. I then started to put on my eyeliner but quickly stabbed my eye with the pencil.
"Ow!" I yelped. "Burning! Burning!"
I whined a bit too loudly because a knock came at the door.
"Everything alright in there?" Ryan's voice asked.
"Uh huh!" I nodded quickly. "Everything's good! I'm okay!"
Ryan let out a slight laugh before leaving the door. I sighed quietly and fixed my eye then reapplied the eyeliner. I swear, everyday was a different war with this stuff. I then applied my mascara and added some sparkles onto my eyelids. I looked at myself in the mirror once more. I actually looked pretty. I even felt pretty, which was something I didnt know I could feel. I normally would've put some cover up on my arm to hide the scars but the long sleeves covered that nicely. I put the killer heels of death on as I looked back at the bathroom door and debated whether or not I wanted to open it. If I opened it, Ryan and Ian would be standing there. Ian probably wearing a nice suit, while Ryan looked dashing in his suit-ish outfit. Even thought it was just a radio interview, I knew they were going to look good no matter what.

But if I stayed in here, they'd get worry or either leave without me. I placed my hands on my hips and continued to stare at the door. Without taking another thought, I pulled the door open slowly and to my surprise neither Ryan or Ian were there. I took a shaky step forward and walked out. My ankles felt like they were going to give out, but I didnt really let it stop me. Once I got accustomed to the heels, I walked out effortlessly. I was greeted in the hall by a smiling Julianna.
"You look beautiful!" She said with a giggle. I smiled back.
"Thanks," I said breathlessly.
"Ryan picked a good dress!"
"Ryan?" I asked confused. "But I thought you picked it."
"No, I only picked the heels out. Ryan picked the dress out because he knew you'd look stunning in it. And look! He was right." Her smile grew even bigger. I smiled back and blushed a bit before looking at the ground.
"They're all downstairs waiting for you downstairs in the foyer." She walked off and went back into her room. Of course I have to walk down steps with these things on. I laughed a bit as I walked towards the edge of the stairs. I grabbed onto the railing as I took my first step down, then the next, then the next until I got to the bottom. I looked around a bit before walking slowly out to where Julianna had said the guys were.
Ryan was looking down at his phone. He looked so handsome. He really did. Ian was messing with his hair in the mirror. Nash looked quite handsome as well considering it's Nash. Jamie looked as cute as he always does. I giggled a bit before taking another step towards me. They were all talking and laughing but once my heel clicked onto the wood, they all stopped and looked up at me and fell silent. Nash, Jamie, and Ian's faces all grew smiles across them as they came over to me.
"You look amazing!" Nash said. "Look at you! All cute and what not!" He let out a chuckle as he gently pinched my cheek.
"Wow, Megan. You look like a girl!" Jamie laughed. Of course he's referring to the way I've been dressing lately; sweats, tanks and no make up. I laughed at Jamie then rolled my eyes playfully.
"You look incredible, Megan. I feel like a proud father!" Ian exclaimed as he hugged me. I laughed once more before returning the hug.
"Doesnt she look amazing, Ry?" Jamie asked. I had almost forgotten Ryan was in the room. I looked over at Ryan and our eyes locked instantly. Butterflies erupted in my stomach and I could even feel my cheeks flush a bright red. I smiled a bit sheepishly.
"Well?" I asked.
A smile spread across his lips as he shoved his phone into his pocket and walked over to me.
"You look stunning." He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into a hug. My arms instantly wrapped back around him. My head rested on his shoulder gently. I breathed in his firmilar scent and exhaled, smiling to myself. Giggling, I pulled away from his grip and looked at him.
"Ready?" I asked. They all nodded and ran out to the car. I followed behind them carefully then climbed into the limo and took a seat next to Ryan. I took a deep happ sigh in then exhaled.
"So, what is this interview again?" I asked.
"It's a radio interview!" Nash exclaimed.
"Oh!" I said with a nod. "Cause that explains so much, Nash."
"Yeah, I know." He laughed. I smiled before rolling my eyes and giggling.
"So why am I all dressed up?"
"Cause you and I are going out to dinner later." Ryan said cooly. Dinner? With Ryan?
"We are?" I asked blinking.
"Yeah! I mean.. If you want to."
"I.. I would love to." I said with a smile. Ryan looked at me and smiled back.
"Great," He said smiling even bigger. "Hope you like Olive Garden."

Alek, however, moved quickly, catching her mid-fall and keeping her upright, and alive. Claire lifted her eyes to meet his which were wide with alarm. The expression was fleeting, lasting for only a moment before it was replaced by a frown.
