The Only One

Chapter 19

I can't believe I let him go. I just watched him walk away and now he's going to be getting on that plane tonight and leaving for however long.

I wanted with all my heart to forgive him, but I just couldn't get myself to do it.

I believe him, even though I know I shouldn't, but I do believe him that it was all Monica, and I don't know why I didn't speak up. I know I should've, I could've saved my relationship! But I couldn't get myself to say that it was okay! It's not, though, that's the thing! I know it isn't okay.

My phone starts to ring, and thankfully, it's Maggie. "Hello?"

"Hey..."

"Maggie its fine, don't even say anything." I tell her.

"I'm so sorry, Han, you know I am."

"I know, Mags."

"I'm on my way over, you know."

"You are?" I ask.

"Sí. So be ready!"

"Okieee." I say.

"I got to go, cop behind me, but! I'll be there in two!"

"Alright, bye!" I say and get off the phone laughing. Maybe everything will be alright. Maybe everything will work out with Ryan, this is just not our time. One can only hope...

"Knock knock!" I hear Maggie say as she opens the door.

"Hi Maggie!" I say, as I walk down the stairs. She gives me a look like she's about to say something about Ryan, but I give her another look saying not to. "If it's meant to be, Maggie, it'll happen."

"I just, I can't believe..."

"Maggie, its Monica we're talking about."

"I know but..."

"It's fine. Everything's going to be alright."

"So have you talked to him?" She asks.

"Yep. He just left."

"And....?"

"He said he was sorry, and he explained exactly what happened, and I believe him..."

"Yeah, I heard that story too....from Monica. She was so...happy about what she'd done!" She says, looking troubled.

"Yep, again, it's Monica we're talking about."

"So, if you believe Ryan, why didn't you forgive him?"

"I don't know! I wanted to! I just couldn't get myself to say those words!" I say sadly. "I want to forgive him so bad. Maggie, I love him so much! And after everything we went through, I don't want to let go this easy."

"Then don't. Fight for him. Show him that you still love him." She says boldly.

"As if."

"No, I'm serious. Do something to show him."

"I don't know..."

"No, Hanna, this is not an 'I don't know' situation, this is a 'yes Maggie, I will show him' situation. You got that?" She says firmly.

"Yeah, I got it."

"Good. Now, we need to get you the perfect outfit!" She says.

"Okay... And I'm guessing you already have this outfit don't you?"

"Mhm!" She says, and hands me a dress.

It's strapless that's white on the top, and has a black elastic strip that's about two inches thick and goes right above the hips, and then has a yellow flowy skirt. She also hands me a black necklace to wear with it and a pair of black shoes. It's an amazing outfit.

"This is gorgeous, Maggie!" I say.

"Why thank you, I did pick it out myself." She smirks. "Okay, so all you have to do is wear this outfit tomorrow and everything will be alright." She says, looking like she's up to something.

"Why do I have to wear this outfit?" I ask.

"Just trust me, okay?"

"Okay..? I'll wear it tomorrow."

"Great!" She smiles. "So, uh, I've gotta go, but I'll call you when we get there." She says.

"Okay," I smile. "Have fun, Maggie, and thank you for everything." I reply, giving her a hug.

"You're welcome. You know, I will have fun, but it would be so much better if you were coming...!"

I smile and roll my eyes, as she leaves my house. Oh, goodness, what am I going to do now?

I could always call up Megan and Liz, but what if they don't want to see me?

Just then, my phone rings. Megan Mace. Coincidence?

"Hey, Megan!" I say.

"Hanna, hey! What's up!"

"Nothing, really." I say and laugh a bit.

"Do you want to take a little bit of a ride to Disney Land with us?" She asks.

"Yeah, sure!" I smile.

"Great! We can pick you up in about 20 minutes if that's okay?"

"Sounds good! Just one question, what should I wear?" I laugh.

She laughs a little too. "Anything. We're not doing any signings or anything, just going to have fun. Oh! And we got free passes the other day, so you won't have to pay to get in." She says.

"Okay, thanks! I'll see you guys in a little bit."

"Bye."

I quickly jump in the shower, and I let my hair air dry. I love my hair. It's not the type that'll get frizzy or anything.

I put on a pair of light denim shorts that are rolled up on the bottom, and I put on a three quarter length sleeved navy blue and off white striped shirt. Then I put on my grey converse, and I grab my phone and my sunglasses, just in time for the girls to come.

When we get to Disney, the first thing we do is take pictures in the letters outside of the park. LOL.

We have some random stranger take a few pictures of us posing in the 'O'.

Liz says a quick thank you to the guy who had her phone, as we head into California Adventure. The first ride that we go on is the rollercoaster and then the Ferris Wheel.

Megan and I both hate Ferris Wheels but Liz on the other hand loves them, and insists on going on the swinging ones. We also squish the three of us into one cart, even though we're only supposed to have two. It's the scariest thing I've ever experienced.

Megan and I are literally clinging to each other for dear life and Liz just finds it hysterical. She even takes our picture. Megan and I have terrified expressions on our faces and Liz is just there smiling, posing with a peace sign.

Next we take pictures in the phone booths and infront of the big Mickey hat.

The last ride we go on in this park is Tower of Terror, one of my personal favorites.

When we get inline, Liz says, "Okay guys, I have a great idea. When they take our picture, and everyone else is like this," She says, and poses like someone screaming, "Megan, you are going to be brushing your hair," She says and hands Megan a brush, "Hanna, you're going to be putting on lipstick," She tells me and hands me some lipstick, "And I will be braiding your hair. Sound good?"

I laugh, and say, "Of course!" with a nod of agreement from Megan.

When we get off the ride, we look at our picture, and hear a lot of people laughing at what we were doing.

After this, we go to get dinner and then we're going to head into the other park.

After we order our food, and we've settled into our table, I get a call from Maggie.

"Hey, Maggie!!" I say, and a look of both surprise and confusion cross Mean and Liz's faces.

"Hey, Han! I just wanted to tell you, we got to Tulsa safely!" She exclaims, and I can tell she's smiling.

"Thank god!!"

She laughs a little, and says, "So how're things? Ian is asking."

"Good. Megan and Liz and I are in Disney actually."

'They're in Disney' I hear Maggie say to Ian. "Good! I'm glad you're getting out!"

"Mags, I'm not letting my whole life stop because of Ryan you know."

"Yeah, I guess so..." She trails off, and I hear her say 'stop it, Ian!' and start giggling.

"Ooh, Maggie, what's going on there?" I ask mischievously.

"Oh nothing... Look, I've gotta go, we're checking into our hotel."

"Okay, have fun! Make sure the guys stay safe."

"I will and you guys have fun too!"

"Thanks! I'll talk to you soon."

"Okay, bye!" She says and hangs up, and I look up to death stares from Megan and Liz.

"Hey guys...?" I say sheepishly.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Liz asks.

"We didn't even realize you were supposed to be them right now!" Megan says.

"Well, I... I thought you already knew... And honestly, I didn't wanna talk about it..."

"Well too late now! What happened? Like really what happened, because I know what the press has to say...." Megan explains.

"I walked out onto the deck last night to see Ryan and Monica kissing." I say to state it simply.

"But..." Liz says.

"Did he..?" Megan also asks.

"No, he says he didn't kiss her back." I answer them.

"Do you believe him?" Megan asks.

"Well, I, yes, I believe him."

"Good, so do I. I've known Ry long enough, and he'd never do something like that." Liz tells me.

"So have you talked to him?" She asks.

"Um, yeah, I have."

"And did you forgive him?! Well, then again, if you had, you'd probably be in Tulsa with them."

"So, no I didn't. It took everything I had not to! I don't know why I didn't! Well, I do know why I didn't, but I wish I had. I miss him so much."

"I'm so sorry, Han." Megan says.

"It's not your fault. I blame Monica." I say and Megan and Liz both groan in unison.

"We should get revenge." Liz says.

"Uhh, I don't think so. I don't wanna start any trouble..."

"Girl, she already did! You're just ending it." Megan says.

"So, when are you going to forgive him?" Liz asks me.

"I don't know..."

"You can't go that long without him, Han, I see it in your eyes." Megan says.

"Megan, I've already gone too long without him!"

"Don't worry, you two love each other, very much, I might add, and everything is going to work out. You can't let one little obstacle ruin you guys."

"Thanks guys." I smile at them and then our food comes. We all just got chicken tenders and French fries. I mean, when I think of Disney, that's what I think of, therefore, that's what I had to get.

"So, Hanna, if you're not writing music for HCR anymore, do you wanna write some music for us instead?" Liz asks, trying to keep a straight face.

"Liz!" Megan gasps.

"What? I was just wondering. Trying to be a good friend here." Liz replies, and taps her head with her finger, like she was thinking.

"That is not 'being a good friend'!!"

"Relax, Megan! I was kidding." Liz says, and giggles. "Goodness, little miss 'can't take a joke'."

"Ha-ha. I'm not laughing." Megan glares.

"I really don't mind writing a song with you guys. But I draw the line when someone asks me to sing with them. Ryan's been asking for a while now." I scrunch up my nose.

"Okay, so no singing for you, but you'll get recognition for writing it." Megan says. "Would you seriously do this though?"

"Sure, why not? I have a good idea. Why not a holiday ep?" I suggest.

"Hmm, yeah, that sounds really good, Hanna!" Liz smiles, and looks to Megan for confirmation, who also smiles.

"Alright, well, do you wanna go into Disney Land? We can definitely talk about this album tomorrow. Are you doing anything, Han?" Megan asks.

"Not that I'm aware of..." I say.

"Awesome! Tomorrow, do you want to talk about this album?" She asks me.

"Definitely!"

"Alright ladies, Splash Mountain time?" Liz suggests.

"Of course!" I say, and Megan says, "Yes!"

Soooo what do you think of the chapter? You really got to see how Han feels about this whole Ryan situation. And you got some of the loving Maggie.

You also got some of Megan and Liz. I wasn't really planning on including them again until the concert in November, but ya know, things can change! ;) And I love Megan and Liz, (and I was having a Megan and Liz video marathon as I wrote this) so you know, I felt the need to include them. :D

Omg I forgot to say this before! Okay, so the other day, (more like 4 months ago, I wrote this a while ago, but whatever xD) Anna Follese RT'd me, and then Adrienne Follese tweeted me like a week later, and then Maggie tweeted me and my friend a few days ago!! ;D Just had to get that out there.

OMG okay, so yesterday, yes actually yesterday ;) Nash tweeted me, and HE LIKED ONE OF MY PICTURES ON IG!!! i didn't even tag him in it! :D OMG, im seriously just so excited! On another note, DO YOU GUYS LIKE HUNG UP?! I stayed up until midnight just to buy it! xD And because of Hung Up, I got Nash to tweet me twice, Hot Chelle Rae to promise not to ignore me, and they followed me! :D Anywaayy, anyone have any cool HCR stories you wanna share?
