The Only One
Chapter 22
Today has been the best day. We just finished our show in Boston and it was fantastic.
We sang a few extra songs than normal and we had fantastic fans tonight.
There was a girl there tonight, her name was Aubrey I believe, and she was so excited to be there.
The past 5 concerts that we've had in Boston she's been at and she's such a supportive fan.
I met her back in August when we were here and she really nice. She was so excited to be meeting Nash and me and I couldn't help but enjoy that meet and greet.
Tonight, I picked her to rap with us. She had a HUGE pink sign that said, "I wanna rap ILILT" on it and she was SO excited when I picked her.
She came up on stage, gripping her sign and holding in a shrill shriek.
"Hey, Aubrey, is it?" I asked with a smile.
Her eyes widened bit, and she smiled and nodded her head. "Yes, it's Aubrey."
"Are you ready?" I asked her, and she eagerly shook her head and started to sing, or well, rap along with me.
I'm so happy that she was able to come on stage with us tonight. I know how much it meant to her.
Right now, we're all walking around Boston looking for a place to eat.
"Hey, why don't we go to the Top of the Hub?" Maggie suggests.
"Sure, why not!" Jamie says, as we all head to the Prudential.

When we get to the restaurant, we all order our meals, and start talking about South America.
We're leaving in 2 days for Brazil, and we're all really excited, well, all except for Chuck and Ian. I mean, they are excited, but they hate flying for so long, and I don't blame them.

"So, Hanna, what are you most excited for?" Nash asks.
"Honestly, I'm most excited to see a place that I've never seen before." She answers with the same answer she told me earlier.
"That is really exciting," Jamie says. "I love going to new places."
"I never really travel. I've been to California, and Mexico. Oh, and Massachusetts." She says.
Jamie smiles, and Ian gives me the look, 'it's time to tell them.'
"So, girls, we have something to tell you." I say, and Maggie and Hanna give me confused looks.
"So, um, we know how much you love The Wanted," Ian says.
"THE WANTED?!" The girls squeal, and we smirk.
"So you know how they have a concert tomorrow in New York?" Nash asks.
"No, you guys didn't..!" They squeal.
"Oh but we did!" Jamie says.
"OH MY GOD YOU GUYS THANK YOU!" They yell and hug us all. I'm so excited about this for them.
***
The Wanted concert just ended and now we're walking to the car to drive to the airport. I'm so happy for Hanna for being able to meet one of her other favorite bands.
"So, Mags, Han, what did you think of the meet and greet and the concert?" Nash asks, but seems to be a little distracted. I turn to where he's looking, and he's watching a very family girl: Steph. "Go get her, killer." I whisper to Nash, then look back to Mags and Han.
The both scream just a little, typical, right? And then Hanna says, "Oh my gosh, it was fantastic!!! I actually got to talk to SEEV!! Thank you so so much!!!"
"It was so great to meet MAX!" Maggie says. "Thank you guys!"
I love seeing the two of them so happy.
This South American tour is going to be great.

The Mansion in the Woods
In a world of mystery with dozens of races, known and unknown, the young Priestess Glissandi sets out into the world, acccepting her sacred task as a missionary. The young, intelligent woman is accompanied by the wise and careful Paladin Lissa, the young, experienced and reclusive Knight Trista and the two over-eager and talented Squires Mira and Mina as she sets forth on a grand adventure, only to quickly run into what seems to be a deep conspiracy, stretching back to one enigmatic person. Determined to bring him to Light and justice in the Lord's name, she ignores the warnings all around her and goes chasing after a being who everyone fears, but is she really prepared for the truths she will encounter on her journey? Sanguilia, Guide extraordinaire and strange woman all around, is accompanying a trade caravan when disaster strikes. At first glance she is no more than a Guide, which is no lowborn title itself, as it represents individuals who are capable of traversing the unknown wilds and are well versed in the languages of the land and its inhabitants. As she enters a city on her way home, a new, massive problem rears its head. Accompanied by a bar wench, who is far more than she seems, the mercenary Orc, Daenan and his tiny, flying companion, Faen, all with their own plans and agendas, they seek to tackle a monster in the shape of a man who controls the city. In the depths of the woods, far away from what humanity sees as the centre of civilisation, the lone, independent city of Lanas prepares itself for war, for the Kingdom of Maldora has set its eyes on them and their wealth. A cry for help goes out and bonds long faded into obscurity are renewed. And the world quakes when their calls are answered. Melena, once a slave girl, resides happily in the Mansion and is slowly getting used to her new life, where equality seems to rule. Until a noble's son decides that her very attractive body is something he should own. When the enigmatic master of the Mansion decides to personally deal with the rulebreaker, her world is turned upside down as she stumbles upon ancient mysteries that threaten to overwhelm her. Luckily she finds support in her once-liberator, now turned friend, the happy-go-lucky Evon, who carefully hides his past, the ghost-like Khrast, Kreya and many others. It is a tale of adventure, of lies and deceit, of love lost and found, of bravery and cowardice and where every one of our heroes and villains alike strive to find the answer to the same question: who is the being behind the Mansion of the Woods?
