Y/n sat there near her brother and gently kicked a rock she had been rolling under her pede half the time, sighing boredly she looked at Sam and Bumblebee as they talked and talked away, catching up.

She was so disconnected she didn't realize the human male was talking to her until Bumblebee reached over elbowing her arm making her look up "hm?"

"Sam." He pointed to said human

She looked at him waiting for what he was going to say, he chuckled a little "I said, how's your crush with Optimus?"

She glanced away and frowned "None of your business, Sam.. Deal with your own relationship problems before you but into others." She grumbled harshly

He softly scoffed "Sounds like someone's upset." He glanced at Bumblebee

"Urgh!" She growled and stood up from the abandoned car she sat on "Shut up, Sam."

"I'm just trying to help you." He said putting his hands up defenselessly

"How? By being annoying?" She glanced at him

"You know you should be a little nicer to me, you guys barely see me anymore." He said folding his arms

"You're growing up, Sam. You don't need us as often as you used to.. And I bet I'll get to see enough of you just this week" she frowned "Besides, I'm not even your guardian, why am I here?"

"Because I wanted you to be." He smiled

She looked away "Well I have night patrol tonight so you two have fun.. I have to report back to base." She said before transforming and driving out of the lot and back to the city.

"Y/n, where the heck were you?" Lennox frowned when she drove in

"Sorry, Colonial. I was out with Sam and Bumblebee." Her headlights flashed

Lennox slightly nodded in understanding "Just get out there, Dino and Ironhide are waiting."

She silently backed out of base and drove off as Lennox watched with slight concern. She never spoke so little, and apologizing?

Throughout patrol even Ironhide and Dino noticed her oddly silent behavior

"What is wrong? You're so quiet tonight.." Dino asked

"Nothing. I'm fine. Let's just get this shift over.." She muttered

The whole team realized the sudden change by the next morning, she was usually talk, talk, talk. But now it's just.. Talk.

Lennox almost begged Bumblebee to talk with her to find out what was wrong, because even when she was angry she went on a ranting spree and didn't spare any comment

"Optimus~" Sam murmured to her alt mode as he walked by that morning. Each time he walked by he said it and even walked back and forth purposely until he leaned into her hood "Optimus Prime... Prime prime prime.." He murmured

Suddenly her engine flipped over and revved loudly scaring Sam off as she revved her engine once more as she pushed into him, threatening to run him over

"O.P.T.I.M.U.S..." He grinned

"Get the frag away from me before I run you over, Sam!" She snarled coldly "SHUT THE FRAG UP!" She roared when he went to speak and transformed snatching him up into her servo as he cried out in surprise

"AHH- Whoa!"

"You so much as breathe a word you'll pay, do you understand me?" She glared

He slightly gulped and nodded as the soldiers around stared at her so she put Sam down and started to leave when Bumblebee ran after her "Wait up!"

He made her stop "Just hold on a sec, stop, stop."

"What, Bumblebee?!" She snapped "I need to leave because I am about 5 nanoclicks from pounding some dents into someone so start talking!" She frowned

"It's the Optimus thing isn't it?" His audio was turned down as she simply blinked at his statement before frowning again

"Just tell your human to keep his mouth shut.." She said glancing away before walking out and transforming, driving away from base as Bumblebee sighed.

When she came back Lennox walked over running his hand over her hood "How are you doing, y/n?"

"Lennox, I appreciate the concern but I just really need to powerdown for awhile.."

"Oh, uh, should I get someone to cover your shift..?"

"That would be nice.." She said

"Alright, just.. Do what you gotta do. We need our team to be alert, that means you too." He said patting her hood and walking off

When she was arosed from being in power down it was the next morning so she got up and took the afternoon shift. But oddly was the only one on patrol, everyone else was at base besides Optimus but he went to attend business with a few soldiers outside the city.

She drove back in at around 6pm as Dino went out for the night shift

"Hey. Hey, y/n. Think you're gonna talk to Optimus tonight?" Sideswipe smirked a little

She glanced away and seen the unfortunate Sam. "You little fragger.. You opened your mouth, didn't you?!" She snapped

Bumblebee jumped in her path to Sam and pushed her back "It wasn't him! It wasn't him!"

"Then who was it, Bumblebee?!"

"...It was me."

The insane rage in her slightly calmed before completely dying "You told the team..? Why would you sell be out like that?"

Now saddened, she stared at Bumblebee and glanced at Sam who looked a little concerned before glancing away, her face plates felt hot, embarrassed and betrayed by her own brother

"They were worried about you! We all are. I had to tell them. I'm sorry, y/n, it's just-"

"Shut up, just stop!" She frowned at him "I trusted you to keep that a secret but while I was away you told everyone! I don't even want to look at you right now.." She glared and turned away, before starting to head out as she seen Ironhide, Ratchet and Sideswipe standing there. She was so embarrassed she didn't even want to look at any of them

"Wait, please! Let's just talk-" He reached out and grabbed her shoulder earning him a slap when she spun around, she held cold optics

"No! I'm done talking! I'm done talking to you, I'm done talking to the team, I'm done talking to EVERYONE." She said harshly pressing a digit into his chassis before spinning around and leaving.

It had been about 3 days since anyone spoke to or even seen y/n.

Lennox ordered Bumblebee, Ironhide and Dino to bring her back and to not come back without her, they knew exactly where she was as the 3 drove down the rundown part of the city and pulled into an abandoned lot behind a ton of buildings to see her alt mode sitting there

"Y/n." Bumblebee transformed and walked over "Y/n, we need you back.."

"Take a hike." She growled

The other 2 transformed and walked over

"Lennox ordered us not to return without you." Dino said

"Looks like you won't be going back then.."

"Don't make us use force, y/n." Ironhide grunted "We need you back at base and you know it."

"I'm not moving.." She grumbled

Ironhide attempted to drag her but she simply refused to budge.

they tried to negotiate with her but nothing worked as the sun was setting

"If we never mention Optimus again will you come back..?" Bumblebee asked

She transformed and glared at him "They already know, it doesn't matter if they mention him or not! You said you'd keep it a secret but you lied to me! Why would I trust you again, Bumblebee if I can't even trust you with a SIMPLE. FRAGGING. SECRET?!?" She shoved him back "SO GO AWAY AND LEAVE ME ALONE!"

2 more days went by as Bumblebee had informed Optimus, he told him everything, not bothering to spare any detail

Optimus simply hummed in acknowledgement and had disappeared for awhile. But he had a good guess of where..

A heavy engine purred as it drove into the lot, y/n was getting annoyed "I told you guys I'm not going back. I don't care what Lennox had to say about it."

"What about me?"

Her mirrors almost snapped off at how quick she moved them to see Optimus as he transformed

"Y/n. May we speak?"

She was hesitant but transformed turning to him but frowned "I can't go back and work with my brother."

"He explained what happened." He said looking at her and stepping closer "The odd behavior has been a surprise. I'm hoping you will return with me.." He said extending his servo as she looked at it a moment then glanced away, her face plates got hot.

"I can't Optimus.. As much as I'd like to.."

"Why not?"

"Bumblebee. I can't trust him anymore after he told the whole team about something he told me he wouldn't tell anyone ever." She frowned

He gave a hum and leaned down, grasping her chin and making her look up making her face plates get hotter

"When Bumblebee told me about everything that happened here he also told me what caused your odd behavior.." He said softly staring at her optics as they widened a little but looked away

"So?" She murmured

"You went through a lot to get my attention.." he said tilting her helm up to look at him "And that deserves a reward.." He said before leaning down and gently pressing his lips into hers as her optics widened in surprise but melted in his kiss as he scooped her legs from under her and held her bridal style, she wrapped her arms around his neck as their lips moved in sync with each other.

He pulled away to see her now visible dark face plates, and looked at her "Did you ever stop to think I might have felt the same?"

She glanced away but frowned a little "N-No.. But w-why would you? You're Optimus Prime.."

He stared down at her "I may be a Prime, y/n but that does not mean it stops me from feeling love." He said and glanced over her "But you should really thank Bumblebee, this was his idea."

'UGHH brothers!' She thought with both love and hate as she looked at him and slightly nodded "Ok.. I will."

He looked over her "We do have a few hours before they come searching.."

She blinked, not quite understanding what the Prime meant until he shifted her so he held her with her each leg on each side of his torso and gently dipped her down as he gently pressed his lips into her neck cables earning a loud purr from the femme below as she instantly wrapped her legs around his torso, accepting his love, as an arm held her up under her rear and the other on her back to support her , his servo to the arm holding her up started caressing her thigh plating and when they both heard a click she knew it was over.

Being fragged senseless by Optimus put her in a dreamful state as most of the way to the base she was swerving on the road until they neared the base as she pulled herself back into reality as Optimus drove in first followed by her, he transformed

"Look, Optimus brought y/n back!" Sideswipe informed

Bumblebee walked over with Ratchet, Dino, Ironhide and Lennox as he smiled a little

"There she is. Our missing soldier." He said

Y/n transformed as her face plates were still visibly dark after getting it from Optimus as he stood there and watched, waiting for her to do as told.

She walked over to Bumblebee and embraced him catching the scout off guard when she murmured "Thanks, Bumblebee"

She released him and turned back to the others, she glanced at Optimus who nodded as she looked at Lennox

"I accept doing the 5 missed shifts and will run them even according to my shift schedule to make up for my absent days and..." She glanced away "accept Detail duty for the next month..." She muttered

Lennox blinked in surprise but glanced at Optimus who nodded to him and looked back at her "Alright then.. Im glad you're accepting of these terms."

She slightly nodded "And I will start the shifts tonight.." She said before transforming and driving out

They all looked at Optimus

"How did you get her to come back?" Ironhide asked

He glanced at them "The less you know, the better." He turned to head out but he heard his SIC grunt in surprise but seen him smirk

"Optimus, you dog.." He said with approval to see the fresh scratch marks on his back plating

"Whoa," Sideswipe chuckled "Must of been great.."

Lennox glanced at his back to see what they meant to see the marks on his back, his mouth agape a little but couldn't help but chuckle "I suppose that's one way.."
