"RATCHET!!" Dino screamed when he ran into the hangar with y/n's limp form in his arms

"He's dying, y/n is dying.." ratchet stared down at him on the berth after running the scans over him

Dino hid in the back of the crowd as his fist hid his mouth, his protoform was trembling.

"What's wrong with him, why is he dying?" Ironhide asked

"His spark, it's weak." Ratchet sighed as he pinched his metal brows together

"But why? How is that possible? He goes on wild rampages all the time.." Sunstreaker folded his arms

"There's just some things he didn't want you to know.."

"Wait, you knew?! AND YOU DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING?!" Dino was immediately infront of ratchet "WHY?!" He yelled "WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY ANYTHING?! YOU'RE A DOCTOR WHY HAVEN'T YOU BEEN TRYING TO SAVE HIM??"

Ratchet frowned at him "it's not that simple, Mirage.."

"Why? What's so wrong with his spark that you can't fix it??"

"IT'S MISSING HALF." Ratchet snapped

"What?" Dino stared at him

The autobots fell quiet as the twins optics widen

Ratchet sighed "He's dying because he had a twin, but it died a long time ago, his spark was stronger so he remained alive for a very long time, they were split sparks. But now that his spark has realized it's missing it's beginning to collapse, it needs a pillar, it needs something to support it. It needs another half."

"We could of helped him. Why let this all out now?" Ironhide frowned

"Because his spark, if it reacts a certain way to the supporting piece of spark it'll kill him instantly, he'll become a bomb threat, the explosion will be big enough to wipe this entire base off the face of this planet!"

"No bot has that certain type? The 1 that won't kill him and possibly us along with him?" Sideswipe asked

"I never looked into it, he didn't want me to."

"Well I do and I say do it now." Dino frowned

"It'll take some time."

"Hurry." Optimus looked at him with a nod as Ratchet took a few others to another hangar to be examined

"What's the probability that the terror twins or even skids and mudflap might be able to save him, they're split sparks too aren't they?" Lennox asked

"Its not that simple, just because they have the same type of split doesn't mean they're compatible. We just need to wait for Ratchet to find results." Ironhude folded his arms and watched as y/n laid motionless on the berth completely void of all consciousness

"I have the results.."

Everyone looked at Ratchet

"There's 3 possible sparks.. 2 of them are the terror twins but they'd need to both give a piece."

"Who's the other?" Lennox asked

"Dino." Ratchet looked at him

His optics widen "me?"

Ratchet nodded "but they both have small details that could make them not so compatible.. I need to think about who would be best and not blow us back to cybertron.."

"Ratchet, he's burning up." Sideswipe said looking at him

"I know.." ratchet frowned "He doesn't have much time."

"We just need to try and fast." Dino frowned

"Well my theory was when I found out the twins were possible options that maybe because of the split bond they both share it may help him.. sunstreaker, come to him." Ratchet raised the berth so he was sat up toward Sunstreaker

"Lets try not to kill us all, huh?" Lennox folded his arms

Ratchet stood there and leaned in close after opening y/n's chassis "open your chassis and prepare to split."

Sunstreaker opened his chassis to reveal his bright spark compared to y/n's dull blue spark

He prepared his spark as he pinched it closer a spark lit between the two

"GET BACK!" Ratchet shouted as Sunstreaaker pulled back as he looked at him

"What the frag was that for?!" He snarled

"Did you see that spark?" Ratchet frowned

"Yeah! What about it??"

"It wasn't right, if you would of pressed further he could of exploded, the detail was just great enough and you're just not compatible with y/n.. Dino, you're the last shot at this" he looked at Dino as he hesitantly made be way over before stepping up to him

"Y/n.." He looked over the unconscious form before opening his chassis to reveal his spark

"Careful, baby steps Dino or you could blow us up.."

"Thanks.." He grumbled as his spark slowly reached out to grasp y/n's to see it started to spark but got a jolt as he jerked back

"Did that hurt?"

"A little."

"Maybe it just isn't compatible.."

"Come on, dino.." Sideswipe gently grasped at his shoulder to pull him back

"No! I can't leave him like that!" He jerked toward y/n and pressed his spark into y/n's

"DINO, NO!"

"YOU CRAZY FRAGGER!" Ratchet yelled as he seen Dino fly across the room and slam into the wall after being shocked by y/n's spark

"What the pits of kaon were you thinking?!" Ironhide snarled "you could of killed us all!"

"He's dying.." Dino whined as he laid there on the floor with the lack of motivation to move "He's dying!" he cried

"Whose dying?"

All the autobots jerked their helms toward the voice to see y/n laying there as he slowly began to sit up and glanced down at his open chassis as he blinked when he felt an odd emotion of relief and shock

"Wait, what just happened?"

"Y/N!!" Dino jumped up and practically jumped on him

"Dino? Why do i feel weird..?"

"I just gave you a piece of my spark.."

"We're.. bonded?" He frowned and blinked at the piece of spark he was feeling inside him.

"What happened..?" Y/n looked at Ratchet

"You were dying, y/n.. your spark needed a support and dino threw a fit about finding a supporting spark, Sunstreaker almost killed us all because his spark was not compatible.. turns out Dino had one."

Y/N felt relief and love flood through him as his face plates darkened as he looked at Dino

He felt all the love that Dino was holding back for a long time, he heard all his thoughts.. He glanced away.

They had much to discuss

Dino purred as he leaned into y/n

"You know I love you, right?"

"How could I not? That's all you've been sending to me.."

"I'm not feeling it back.." He said

"That's because you're being blocked on my side.."

"How do you feel about me, y/n?"

He glanced away "honestly..."

"Honestly what?"

"I always had some sort of feeling toward you, 1 not as close as the 1 I even had with my twin."

"Love...?"

"Yes, Dino.."

He smiled a little as y/n looked at him contently "Thanks for risking your life to save my stubborn aft.." He said gently pressing his helm into Dino's and purring

"I'd do it again, even with all the spark aches you've given me.." Dino replied as y/n gently scoffed before kissing him sweetly
