(Almost done we halfway there)

A week passed as y/n asked to return to the military base but both Lennox and Ironhide refused, now that she had sight, she could see the Autobots which meant Ironhide always had to have his holoform out in advance before even making contact with Emily. It was best to just keep his holoform out most of the time.

Ironhide took her out to the city as they say in the park while the sun was setting

"It's been adventurous..." y/n smiled

Ironhide smirked a little "We haven't even hit the city's hotspots yet.."

"I know. And that's what makes it great, there's just so much to see."

"Yeah, well you should take it easy.. Some things are better not to be seen."

She looked over at him "What do you mean?"

"I- um... Just.. There's a lot of bad things that can happen. Things we hope to never have to see but see them anyway.. Being blind can be a gift sometimes. You don't see all the bad things in the world... A lot of them can hurt you.." He said gently grasping her chin and staring into her eyes "and I won't let one of them be me... I would never hurt you, y/n... I promise."

She smiled softly but nodded "I know.." She leaned in and gently pressed her forehead on his

Ironhide closed his eyes as he mentally started to crack, he could never promise her safety. He softly sighed and grasped her hand "I will protect you with my life.." He opened his eyes when she moved away

"Don't..." She shook her head "Don't do that.. You can't protect me from everything, Ironhide. You know that.. Just Don't make a promise you can't keep." She said softly, placing her hands on the sides of his face

His brows slightly creased in seriousness "I would die for you. You mean everything to me, y/n and I will be your soldier when your in trouble.. There's a lot I'm capable of, I know I can't stop death but I can try to prevent it."

She slightly nodded in understanding as she wrapped her arms around him, embracing him tightly.

A month and a half went by as Decepticon activity appeared, Lennox ordered Ironhide to reveal himself to y/n but he just couldn't bring himself to drive her to the base so she could meet his team. She said she hadn't been feeling well awhile ago and he feared the secret would overwhelm her. So Lennox did the unthinkable. He brought her to the base as he walked in with y/n , he grasped her hand leading her in as she was blindfolded. She was so confused as Ironhide brought out his holoform and ran over "Lennox! Are you crazy?!"

"Are You crazy, Ironhide? her life is at risk, I told you to bring her but you didn't listen so I took it upon myself to bring her here." Lennox pointed as Ironhide grabbed y/n

"I don't understand, what is going on?" she asked, almost sounding a little panicked.

"It's ok, you're at the military base.. There's something we've been hiding. For your own safety but now it's at risk.. There's some bad people out there that might try to hurt you." Ironhide explained grabbing her hands "Remember... When I told you I'd never let anything happen? I'd never hurt you?"

"Yes, of course.. Why?"

"That applies to now.. What you're about to see can be kinda scary at first but.. I wouldn't let anything happen while I'm around. Sometimes humans get scared when they see things they don't understand. So I'll tell you everything in time." He said slowly removing her blindfold but took a deep breath as she looked at him with a calmed expression

"Y/n I'm not who I seem to be.."

"You're some sort of secret agent.. FBI, CIA Stuff?" She frowned

He slightly smiled "not even close.. y/n, this isn't the real me- my real body. I'll show you it in a second, just don't freak out."

She gave a side-ways glance to Lennox next to her as he looked at her "Just watch.." He said placing a hand on her shoulder

She looked looked back at Ironhide as he disappeared but she blinked and frowned "What-?"

She glanced at Lennox a moment with a confused expression "He's a magician?"

He softly chuckled but shook his head "No. Look." He pointed

She looked back and her eyes widen when she seen a black 30-foot robot walking towards them as he stopped about 10 feet away and sighed "y/n...This is the real me." He said crouching down

She stared at him but softened "A robot...? But how?"

"I can manifest a solid hologram to a human with the same biology and chemistry." He said "And technically I'm a Cybertronian, an advanced robot species but usually referred to as Autobots and I'm here with my team and our enemies, the decepticons, the ones who want to kill humans and have tried it several times over the last 5 years.. Our homeworld is dead because of war and we've brought the battle to earth.."

She looked over him before looking back at Lennox "Is this...?"

"Real? Big time.. Is the threat real? Hell yeah, we've been fighting those bastards for the last 6 years and they have no intention on leaving earth alone." he replied

She looked back at Ironhide "So how did I get involved?"

"By loving me.. The decepticons will try to target you, to kill everything we cherish on this planet. I might look like some giant robot but.. We're more than that. We can feel every human emotion even if we don't show it that often. When I'm here, I'm more.. Robotic." He said making robotic gestures a moment before stopping "But the love is real. You could say we're more humane than most humans."

She smiled a little when he made the robotic gestures but nodded a little in understanding

"And.. Remember my truck?"

She chuckled a little "How could I not?"

"Watch." He pointed as he started to crouched down but gears started shifted and soon enough she found herself staring at the black GMC they had their nights in as she slightly grinned "That's awesome.."

"Yeah?" He asked as the engine revved to life and his headlights came on but flipped off but the engine purred as he inched over

She smiled a little and nodded placing a hand on his grill as she softly chuckled "This is bizarre.."

"You haven't even met my team yet." He said as Lennox walked off to some other vehicles, softly knocking on a few of them

"Get up, guys. We have a visitor." He said

She watched a few transform, one was a red sleek sports car, another was an ambulance, another was a silver corvette and the a black and yellow camaro as another walked in, he was taller than the others as y/n stared up at them but slightly fell forward when Ironhide moved back, he was the only thing that was keeping her standing as she became numb as he quickly revved forward to catch her

"Ho, easy, n/n." Lennox said as he smiled a little "don't pass out alright? They're friendlies." He said grasping her shoulders as Ironhide moved back again before transforming back to robot mode.

"I'm fine.." She murmured as she looked at the tallest one as he walked over and crouched down leaning close to them as Emily stepped back when he got a hair too close

"Welcome, y/n. I am Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots." He said

A chill crawled up her spine, his voice was very deep, and it was calm. She didn't know to think if it was still awesome or weird at this point.

Her insides twisted as her brain screamed to leave

"Are you alright?" He asked when he noticed her skin suddenly paled 3 skin tones as Lennox looked at her

"Whoa, y/n. What's the matter?" He asked

"I gotta go.. Maybe we could try this again next time." She said slightly covering her mouth

"You've overwhelmed her, Prime." Ratchet scowled

"No, it's not you guys.. It's not you at all." She said going to leave but Lennox's grip slightly tightened

"Hey, just take a breath.. Stomach's in knocks isnt it? It's pretty common to be unsettled when they come around for the first time." Lennox said squeezing her shoulders assuringly

"No, Lennox. You don't understand, It's not them. I have to leave." She pressed slightly pulling away from him but he just didn't understand as he stared at her

"You're fine. Just calm down.." He said

She looked at him as her color slightly came back but her heart raced, almost pounding out of her chest as she was starting to panic, the first thing that came to mind to make him let her go was said

"You're a grandfather!"

Lennox's grip released as she clamped her hand over her mouth as he stared at her before frowning "What did you say?"

She looked at him a moment before bolting out the door

"Grandfather?" Bumblebee asked

"The relation of which a first generation has a child has their own making the third generation." Ratchet said

Lennox looked at Ironhide as he was blank on what just happened "Did you know about this?!" He shouted stalking up to Ironhide

"I don't know.. What did she mean?" Ironhide frowned

"She's carrying a child, Ironhide. YOURS!" Lennox said pointing an accusing finger at him "How the hell is that even possible!?" He glared

"Our holoforms are solid projections built with the same anatomy and structures as a normal human. It is very possible." Ratchet explained

Lennox looked at them before back at Ironhide with a hardened expression, he was so pissed now "CHRIST! Ironhide she's not even an adult yet! SHES ONLY 17!" He snarled but looked down and took a breath as he clenched his brows together with his hand trying to calm himself down but looked up "You're gonna fix this."

"How?" Ironhide frowned

"Convince her to give it up, do something because she's not keeping it. She can't raise a child, Ironhide. So get your ass out there and find her. MOVE IT!" He snapped

Ironhide didn't hesitate after that as he transformed and drove out of the base. He looked around for awhile but couldn't find her, until he pulled up by the park to see her sitting there on a bench staring up as the dimming sky.

He summoned his holoform as he ran over but slowed to a trot when he neared her when he realized the shine on her face, it was obviously wet, she had been crying but she just sat there staring up

"Y/n..." Ironhide said softly as he came up behind her gently grabbing her shoulder with a light rub as she glanced back at him.

"I'm sorry.." He murmured

"For what?" She asked

"For having to put you through this." He said "I know you probably aren't ready." He said sitting next to her

"Don't be. I wanted this..."

"What?" He frowned

She glanced away with a sigh "I wanted this to happen eventually.. I wanted to have a child with you, Ironhide."

"So Why are you crying?" He asked gently wiping the tear trails from her cheeks

"Lennox." She said looking at him "He would force me to give it away."

"But you'd be 18, an adult and he wouldn't be able to do anything."

She shook her head "there's a program where there parents can legally force the child to give up the baby if it's before their 18th birthday and neither of the biological parents could see it. there's no doubt he's searching for a paper now.." She frowned glancing down

"I wont let him do that.. If you're sure you'd want to keep it."

"It would be one of a kind.." She smiled a little

"What do you mean?" He asked looking at her

"Well.. You're an alien." She softly chuckled

He slightly nodded as he understood what she meant as they glanced off watching the sky darken for a few minutes

"What do we do about Lennox?" He asked

"Rebel against him I guess.. There's nothing we really can do." She said leaning her head on his shoulder as he wrapped an arm around her.

'I'm going to be a dad.' He thought as he stared down at y/n who rested against him.

Y/n sat there and stared at Lennox at the dinner table, her parents sitting near while he sat across from her

Her mother almost fainted when she told them she was pregnant but her father was shocked, a little mad but y/n looked at them as they looked at her

"What are your intentions, you can't go to school and raise a child." Her father said "and what about the father?"

"I'd take online courses. And Ironhide will stick around, he might not be home all the time with all his military work but he'd still spend time with us."

"I can't believe this.. I mean is this even legal?" Her father asked

"Technically no.. He could be sent to jail for this but there's nothing being done." Lennox said

"and there's not going to be. I want this baby. I'm not gonna let you take that away from me." She said standing up and going upstairs.

A month passed as y/n had a small baby bump, Ironhide had his arms wrapped around her with his hands gently placed on it and her in his lap. She had eventually met the others even though it was a little awkward with how they left off. Out of the group she found Bumblebee and Sideswipe the funny ones, Ratchet the serious 1, and Mirage, Wheeljack and Optimus the more chilled.

They sat there on her bed as Lennox had a less than pleasing attitude towards Ironhide but he didn't care. He thought of the positive things from having this child with y/n.

"What if it was a boy?" Emily asked placing her hands over his

"Mmm..." Ironhide glanced away, thinking of human male names "[name]."

She softly chuckled "And a girl?"

"[Name]." His thought process was more quicker, he found them unique names as she smiled

"I like them.." She said glancing down as Ironhide gently rubbed the bump

Ironhide stared at her stomach as his nose gently brushed her neck before he landed a soft kiss as she glanced back at him

"(Y/n).."

"Hm?" She gently leaned into him

"If anything ever happened to me... I want you to know there will still be a part of me with you. In your memories box is a small case. I don't want you to open it until the day comes though.." He said gently bumping his forehead on the side of her head

She frowned a little and reached up grasping his chin "I don't even want to think about losing you, Ironhide.."

"Just promise me, (y/n).. And you'd never lose me forever, what I left behind will make sure of that."

She looked at him but slightly nodded in understanding.
