I stared straight ahead while my doctor took a look in my ears.
A regular check up, a yearly one. It's the one i dread the most. Check your chest, mouth, ears, eyes and be done. The ears.. that's all i care about, I glanced over when he pulled away and switched sides. I frowned a bit at the cold piece being shoved in my ear.
It's been years. I lost count. Atleast 3. Maybe longer.
Who knew that being around a firing gun too closely could rattle your nerves and leave you with a permanent buzz? Certainly not me. But how close is too close? Apperantly 10 feet is too close.
He finished me off and i was on my way.
I walked out to the red ferrari and climbed in the passenger seat, his holoform fizzled into place making me look over at him. He smiled softly
"How was it?"
"Same stuff as always, mirage.." i mumbled
He looked at me with a soft expression. He may not be able to experience my same pain but i gave him a taste of it after letting him listen to a dog whistle once in his cybertronian form. Then he understood loud quite very clear.
He leaned over and kissed my cheek, a not-any-better-or-any-worse-but-atleast-it's-still-okay kiss.
I folded my arms and leaned back when he took off, the seat belt snaked around me and clicked in place.
He flipped on the radio allowing the music to fill my head and that made me feel better.
He drove back to base and i reported back in to Lennox, since there were no specialists at base i had to see an offsite specialist. I let him take care of the fax as he glanced over the papers i watched him as he hummed but nodded

"Everything checks out, seems like you haven't had any further damage but he insists you wear those plugs you were given while training and keep a spare on at all times" He gave a thumbs up and i smiled just a little. I was relieved and i went back to the hangar to see mirage and gave him the thumbs up, he smiled a little too.
I sighed and leaned against his pede.
It was good to know atleast someone understood me fully around here.
