《A Stranger's Touch》I do, I do

Our family and friends flew in by the morning, it was crazy. A day ago, when I woke up in our bed, I had no idea we were coming to New York. God, I had no idea I was getting married so soon.
"You both are fucking insane." Kay had said playfully when she arrived.
She and her husband had flew in from Cuba for our wedding.
"There's no way on earth I'm missing your wedding sis." was what she told me.
Since the notice was so short, I couldn't get my own custom wedding dress but Jamie assured me to let her take care of it.
Planning and more planning. The girls arranged an impromptu bridal shower at the penthouse while the boys hit the club for Dante's bachelor party.
It was crazy. Everything was happening so fast.
We would be getting married in few hours.
Dante had pulled a few strings and obtained our marriage license before twenty four hours. The wedding was really happening.
By 9:00PM, Jamie brought in a makeup artist/hairstylist who did my hair and makeup.
"Red lip looks amazing on you." The love of my life had said before going out with his friends.
My makeup was subtle but the lip was bold red. My hair on the other hand, was styled into a glam long ponytail. I must admit, I did look amazing.
"Your dress is here." Jamie screamed on top of her lungs.
"Oh, thank God." Kay sighed in relief.
When I saw my wedding dress, I couldn't control the tears that welled up in my eyes.
"No, no, no." Kay screamed.
"You can't cry, you will ruin the makeup!"
"I'm trying." I swallowed the sudden lump that formed in my throat.
"Breathe in, breathe out." Kay said, describing dramatically with her hands.
"Breathe in, breathe out." I repeated.
My wedding dress was elegant. I loved the floral around the whole dress especially. The dress was beyond beautiful.
Instead of a traditional white wedding
dress, it was a pastel ombre long mermaid dress. It had long sleeves, a deep plunging V neck and completely backless. The dress was dreamy, daring, sexy and beautiful all at the same time. It fitted to my body like second skin.
"Dante will go extra crazy when he sees you." Jamie gasped.
"Did you just agree with me that he is in fact crazy?" Kay walked to Jamie, her hands resting on her shoulders.
"Only a crazy person plans a wedding within less than 24 hours." Jamie shook her head slowly.
"Yes, I agree with you Kay. He's crazy."

My friends are so dramatic!
"Don't forget he also obtained their marriage license within less than 24 hours too." Kay added.
I rolled my eyes. The two of them wouldn't stop and the wedding ceremony was about to start.
"Girls, one, I do not want to be late to my own wedding." I rolled my eyes.
"You'll go down in history as the fashionably late bride, come on." Kay scoffed.
"Two, I do not want to miss my own wedding."
Kay tried opening her smart mouth but I quickly cut her off.
"Please, we need to head out now."
The wedding was taking place at the beach. Even though the notice was so short, the decorations were amazing. There were all sort of flowers- peonies, roses, tulips, Lilies, and oh God, baby breath, my favorite.
The decor was a dream!
Mr. Tim hugged me and placed a quick kiss on my forehead.
"I can't believe you are getting married, you little rascal."
I saw the tears on his cheeks even though he was smiling. I managed to hold back my own tears, wiping off his with the back of my hands.
"The bride's father isn't supposed to cry on the day of the wedding." My lips broke into a huge grin.
"What can I say? I still can't believe I'm getting married too."
"Who told you the bride's father isn't allowed to cry?"
The band started playing a slow song and that was our cue to start moving.
"Me." I winked.
Mr. Tim took my hand, walking me down the aisle.
"Oh, you little rascal." He murmured silently.
We walked along the path between the beautiful walkway lights. It was beautiful and it felt like I was a leading character of a book.
And then I saw him. My breath hitched in my throat and I couldn't help the huge smile that appeared on my face. The crowd whistled and cheered. My nervousness was long forgotten. These were family and friends- people dear to our hearts.
He was looking extremely handsome in his two piece dark tuxedo. I was getting married to a greek god.
The thought made me laugh and I almost tripped on my feet. Dante almost rushed to my side but I gave him a big smile shaking my head to stop him.
"I'm fine." I mouthed.
I saw him sigh in relief, couldn't stop smiling the whole time.
When Mr. Kim handed me over to him, he kissed my cheek and whispered into my ear before leaving to take his seat beside his wife.
"You are all grown now, my daughter."

We were asked to exchange vows, we didn't even have anything written down. Dante was the one to go first.
It was quiet for a while and I was turning into a nervous mess, but the sound of the ocean somehow made me feel calm.
"Holy shit, I still can't believe this is happening." He said in a quiet, nervous voice but still heard by everyone.
We all broke into laughter but deep down, I was just as nervous as he was.
"Ria, you are the biggest blessing of my fucking life." He said, his eyes on mine and my hands in his.
"Language, son." Mrs. Kim screamed on top of her lungs and we all laughed.
Dante looked at her with a huge smile on his lips and raised an eyebrow in question.
She simply rolled her eyes and shrugged. Dante and I shook our heads. Mrs. Kim was just something else.
"Years ago, I never knew that loving someone this much was possible. In fact, I stopped believing in love and happy endings at a point. But then I met you, I fell in love with you and couldn't get enough of you everyday. The more I see you Ria, the more I fall in love with you. The more I fall in love with you, the more I want more and more of you. You make me whole, you complete me and make me a better man. Having a whole life with you is a dream and one that I can't wait for to happen- having our own kids, growing old together, having our own family.. I'm still hot right now."
Everyone went crazy with laughter the moment the last words left his mouth.
"Yes, I'm still very hot right now and you know it's true." He winked and I blushed profusely through my teary eyes.
"Now that I'm still hot, and later when I'm seventy and I have a pot belly and I'm no longer hot, you are the one person I want to be with till the day I take my last breath. I promise not to make you cry. I promise to love you more and more everyday, cherish you, love you crazily all the time and never let go of your hand. I love you, Ria."
He leaned in to kiss me but was interrupted by the screams and laughter.
"She hasn't even said her vows. Come on man, control." Shawn said through his laughter.
"That's all they do people, suck each other's face at all times." Kayla sighed, shaking her head.
As if she's one to talk.
It was now my turn to say my vows.
"Dante, my love. I appreciate you now and I'll forever appreciate your love for me. You make my life feel like a dream and hell, if this ended up being a dream then I better not wake up." I sniffled, feeling all sorts of emotion.
"After everything we've been through, the one thing I know now is you are the love of my life and the one I want to share my life forever with. In sickness, in health, while we are still young, and when we get old, I'll never let go of this hand." I brought his hands to my lips, placing a kiss on both hands.
"You think I'm the biggest blessing of your life? What do we do now? I think you are the greatest blessing of my life too." I chuckled, brushing away the tears that escaped from my eyes.
"Thank you for loving me Dante. Thank you for being my boyfriend, fiance and now my husband, and the future father of our kids. I'm ready to spend my whole life with you and nothing will make me never not love you. I love you so much."
The both of us kept staring at each other with teary eyes and huge smiles on our lips. We seemed to be so lost in each other, we hardly heard anyone. We seemed to have zoomed out the rest of the world.
We said I dos and Dante being Dante interrupted the rest of the ceremony.
"Can I kiss her now?" His tone was heavy with emotion.
Everyone was laughing but he was so done with the whole ceremony.
He grabbed me by the waist, and pulled me so close that nothing could pass in between us.
"So, how do you like being Mrs. Moretti?" He asked, his forehead place on mine and his eyes solely on me.
"I think I like it very much, Mr. Moretti." I bit down my buttom lip.
I couldn't stop smiling and neither could he.
I gasped when he tilted my back and his face was merely an inch away from mine. He didn't waste another second, his lips crushed mine in a bruising kiss.
Our family and friends were cheering us on but we were in a world of our own.
I snaked my arms around his neck, pulling him even closer, returning each fierce kiss with fiercer one of mine.
"I love you." He murmured against my lips.
"And I love you." I said, kissing him again.
