Thinking of the past made the emperor's head hurt "I shouldn't have so easily given my heart away! I should have known better!, no one from General Lei is a saint, I wont be like my father, i wont be fooled." Those were the only words he uttered in the two days he remained enclosed in his room and when morning came in those days Jiang found out that he couldn't get into Jun Tang's courtyard for some reason.

That night after practice Jiang decided to check on Jun Tang again but the door of the north wing where tightly shut. "Master Jun Tang", Jiang called out loudly, hoping that his words would be heard. After trying numerous times until his voice began to sound hoarse Jiang got no response so he dejectedly left.

When Jiang arrived in his room, he sat immediately in meditation because when practicing the piercing tornado dance earlier he had a feeling like he was about to make a breakthrough. He was excited about this and wanted to share it with Jun Tang but he couldn't be reached and he felt like he was being avoided but then again Jiang reasoned that Jun Tang had no reason to avoid him thus he was puzzled as to what was happening.

No matter how much Jiang tried to mediate he seemed to be distracted, his heart felt restless and he couldn't pin point the reason why. Jiang then decided to enter the space in his space ring hoping to be able to concentrate better there.

Jiang closed his eyes and entered the space in the space ring and his nostrils where immediately bombarded with the thick scent of medicinal herbs which startled him. Jiang felt like he was in the wrong place so he exited and then reentered the space again but was still met with the same scenery...apart from the pavement that now led to the small room within the space, everywhere else had turned into a beautifully arranged medicinal garden and was filled with medicinal herbs. These herbs that looked like the ones that would have grown from the seedlings he had bought from no difference pavilion and had kept in the small shelf case in the room.

Jiang first took in the rich scent of the medicinal herbs and his restless mind seemed to calm down a bit then he hurried towards the room at the end of the pavement, when he got there he immediately went to check for his seedlings, herbs and pills that he kept in the small shelf there but except for the pills in the small jade bottle everything else was gone.

Jiang rushed back outside and looked at the garden again, he had planned to come and plant this seedling himself but he never got to doing it and now it had all been magically planted, even the herbs that he planned on using to practice his pill making where all planted too, he didn't even know how that was possible.

After thinking deeply Jiang decided that all this must have been the doing of the heavenly jade cauldron spirit, Jiang eyes swelled up when he thought about how much his late mother had done for him and by giving him that space ring she hadn't only give him a second chance at life but also a means to survive this harsh world and a helper as well.

Jiang went back into the room and took the vitalizing enhance pill from the jade bottle because it would assist him in both cleansing his body and breaking into the next realm. He had long waited for this moment and couldn't wait to advance to his next level in cultivation. He chose to sit cross legged in front of the small room door overlooking the garden as he cleared his mind and with the serene environment Jiang was finally able to properly enter a meditation state.

Jiang then threw the vitalizing enhance pill into his mouth, he felt a cold sensation all over his body which made him shiver slightly and as the pill went downwards and settled inside his stomach and melted. Within a flash the cold sensation turned violently hot.

Jiang could perceive his body going through tremendous changes, his forehead was full of sweat and his body turned red. Every single part of his body was undergoing painful cleansing. Jiang ground his teeth and bit at his lips in order to muffle the painful cry that wanted to come out due to the unbearable pain he was experiencing. Even when the space ring embedded itself in his core it wasn't this painful he thought as his mind began to become fuzzy due to the pain.

A memory that he had hidden away as a child was threatening to surface surprising Jiang who didn't know he had such memories. He could hear voices that sounded familiar but at the same time were not familiar at all but since this was the critical moment of his breakthrough he knew that he needed a clear mind. Jiang violently suppressed those voices as he believed it was also a test that he had to overcome when crossing over to the magus realm.

While this was going on in Jiang's mind, his body had long since started to greedily take in the air element mana as well as space and time element mana into his body with a speed that was more than ten times than his usual speed causing both half of his cores to start expanding.

Jiang had long since observed that cultivating was much more easier and faster since he possessed both space and time element along with the air element. All three elements settled into both halves of his core and blended perfectly with each other thereby making his mana more abundant as well as stronger than the usual mana of a person who possessed a single elemental. Jiang was waiting for the day both cores will merge together and be able to perform as one but he also knew that it was still quite far off as he needed to he reach the divinity realm and form a divine core by merging both half of his core.

After a shichen worth of time had passed Jiang finally opened his red bloodshot eyes, he was drenched in sweat and black thick stinky substance. This black substance was the impurities in his body coming out of his pores thereby soaking his clothes with filth with the smell from the impurities almost drove Jiang crazy. He quickly existed the space ring and when he was once more back in his room, he rushed to the lake in his courtyard while flinging his smelling outer and inner robes of his body along the way. He willed out a set of clean female robes that he had earlier put inside his space ring though Jiang stared with disgust at the robes before angrily throwing it close to the bank of the lake and then dived into the lake butt naked.

The lake water was always warm no matter how chilly the weather was and it had a soothing feeling when it touches the skin which was very mysterious since it could never get dirty. As Jiang rinsed his body in the water, the filth upon entering the water would directly be cleansed and the water would look as good as new.

Jiang had once asked Jun Tang if it had special properties that could help with his cultivation and was very disappointed when Jun Tang deadpanned said, "It has no such properties but it's really comfortable to bath with or don't you agree Yuer?" Jiang resentfully replied him with "Such a waste!"

While Jiang rested in the water he checked his current cultivation level and was pleased to see that from the he had directly skipped to the He had since been suppressing his cultivation so that when he eventually had a breakthrough it would have such an effect. Frankly speaking he wasn't that surprised that this happened due to his increase in comprehension as well as the fact that his constant cultivation in his space ring where time runs differently assisted too, now one day of cultivation outside his space ring equates to a hundred days inside his space ring so whenever he had time he came inside here to cultivate.

Although he knew that it won't be so easy again to keep skipping numerous ranks and directly breaking into another realm just like that but with his space ring's ability he wasn't too bothered.

If Jiang told anyone about how he skipped from the magus realm first rank directly to spirit disciple realm it will certainly lead to his early doom because this was just simply unnatural. In fact since he was reborn till now his cultivation level power up abilities were just outrageous.

Jiang also sensed that his ice jewel had experienced another transformation after he leveled up and when he accessed the new change Jiang was pleased with what he found out. Now he could not only change the color, thickness and shape of ice jewel to a mask but it could also change his facial structure with ice jewel.

Naturally he willed it to change and this was a painful process. His jaws and every single bone on his face was currently making a cracking sound, his eyes, nose, ears bleed and Jiang was frightened but couldn't stop the process. He even began to feel woozy reprimanding himself that he shouldn't have done this just immediately after breaking through but probably because of the pain he felt during his breakthrough this one was quite bearable.

Although the process of changing his face didn't take long but Jiang felt like a century had passed before he ultimately got his desired facial feature. The face that was staring right back at him as he looked at his reflection in the water felt even more familiar than the one he had always hidden behind a veil, He dipped his whole face in the lake water so as to wash away the blood and when all the blood was gone he could even since his new face more clearly.

Jiang felt nostalgic and a smile that wasn't so beautiful appeared on his face, it was a sad smile but this feeling didn't last long since it was broken by Jun Tang's deep husky and angry voice. "How about we spar disciple and while doing that lets have an honest discussion!" The emperor was back to acting like Jun Tang but the only difference was that his aura was much more intimidating, bloodthirsty and violent.
