Whether it was a lie or not he would have chosen to believe Jiang because he still felt tormented by the past and couldn't accept this outcome.

In a flash Jun Tang was before Jiang that had just stepped out of the lake. His sudden action made Jiang to almost fall back into the lake yet again but Jun Tang caught his fall with his hands wrapped around his waist and pulled Jiang to a safe distance from the edge of lake. Then his hands went to his veil and abruptly pulled it off not giving Jiang the chance to react at all.

When Jiang realized that not only was his face exposed but also his females robes where totally soaked and hugged his body as a result a lot of manly features had been exposed, also due to their close proximity and how both their waist were stuck together due to Jun Tang's previous actions he could feel a slight bulge in between Jiang's legs, it even slightly rubbed against his.

Jun Tang upon seeing the face and feeling that not so girly equipment instantly let go of Jiang's body and staggered backwards. As for Jiang, who hadn't steadied himself, he was taken by surprise and fell on his butt.

Jiang didn't care about falling, he cared more about something else, he felt in secured looking like this before Jun Tang so he quickly moved his hands to cover his face, Jiang had never felt this uncomfortable in his own skin before.

Jiang had not had time then to will ice jewel to change his appearance back to his now original facial features because Jun Tang had come too sudden and now he had let Jun Tang see this hideous face, he strongly regretted willing ice jewel to change to his former hideous appearance, he lamented silently about why he didn't change to his sister's appearance, Is just that when he got the ability to change his looks he wanted for one last time to see the way he looked before.

Jun Tang stared at the person shivering person on the ground while Jiang clasped his hands over his face and wondered what Jun Tang thought of him now. It was obvious that his disguise was no longer effective and with this ugly face on display and his robes in such a state it would be foolish of him to keep telling lies at this point.

Jun Tang brain that was chaotic earlier now focused on Jiang and he couldn't help but wonder what was going on. He looked at the person's eyes before him and it wasn't what he had always looked into when he admired his Yuer, He had seen those eyes numerous times before and was very familiar with it so "What the hell am i looking at now" Jun Tang thought angrily, his beauty had turned into this thing.

He thought back to the face he had seen earlier and was speechless as he had never seen someone so ugly; his dull eyes where swollen and so tiny that it was almost nonexistent, the color of the eyes couldn't even be distinguished even his eyebrows and lashes where not present. To describe the face before him was to say that it was that of a monster and that was even lightly saying it. His mouth was bent and drool was continuously coming out of it, his nose was extremely big and his tooth were large, especially the two middle ones that could not even fit inside his mouth.

The reason why Jun Tang didn't at first believe Lu Han words and even beat him mercilessly for blaspheming against his Yuer was because the looks of the person he described to have taken young mistress Lei Yue place as the empress elect was so different from the young mistress he had met. Also Lu Han had insisted that based on his investigations it was really the same person that was taken into the palace and this really confused Jun Tang to no end because even if he had not seen the face of this person before at least he had kissed this person's lips and seen their eyes.

Now it all made sense, maybe the general really did hire another enchantress to use an enchantment on this air elemental to blind his eyes which made him not to see this persons true appearance until now, moreover the person before was a man, how could he accept having feelings for a man.

It was like his brain seemed to crash the moment he wasn't guessing Jiang's identity anymore and was absolutely certain that he was not only not young mistress Lei Yue but also a male to boot.

Jun Tang instantly became furious, he entered a berserk state and suddenly began to step on the already aggrieved Jiang who was still covering his face with his hands and rolled up on the ground, all Jun Tang could see was red. Jun Tang voice vibrated like thunder as he continued to angrily step on the curled up Jiang's head.

Jiang who was formerly lost in his own thoughts came back to reality when he his body been stepped on, he even momentarily lost the ability to hear properly when his head was stepped on by Jun Tang so when he regained his hearing and heard the words coming out of Jun Tang'd mouth he felt a piercing pain in his heart, it hurt so much, more than any pain he had ever felt before.

Jiang though that

Jun Tang knew he was been irrational for thinking in such a manner but he was blinded by his past hate and for some reason he couldn't stop his actions or calm his mind down, all he could see in Jiang right now was the enchantress that destroyed him family, a deceiver and a seductress that should vanish from the face of the earth.

His booming voice was also a weapon that he used in attacking Jiang, the vibrations coming from it were sharp knives cutting piece by piece into Jiang's flesh. Jiang shivered as memories of the past, memories that he had once hidden at the deepest part of his heart, memories he never wanted to remember came rushing back in full force.

Jiang cries were muffled as he wept because of the memories that held him in their grasp,

Jun Tang leg that was about to step on Jiang again froze in mid air. He became extremely confused because of the questions Jiang asked as he wept pitifully where he lay on the ground.
