《The Last Lycan Alpha King》Chapter 21

Rosalie's POV
"Hey." I rushed to Martha's side and held her pale thin hand in mine bloody ones.
"I'm dying." Tears rolled down her checks as she spoke.
"No you're not." I shook my head. "You are not dying." I sobbed.
"I'm going to find a cure I swear." I assured getting away. I needed to make her an antidote for the poisonous bite before it was too late.
"What do I do Normy." I asked trying to pull myself together.
"Since it's a vampire/witch hybrid, we need to mix a few herbs and rub it on the bite and a concoction to flash out the poison." She told me and I nodded.
Searching through my bag I found some herbs, tonics and a book I had come with back from the pack. Hurrying I read the through recipe for the rub and followed every single step. After the rub I made the bluish green looking liquid concoction and run back to the room. Hopefully she was still alive and I followed the rest of the instructions.
An hour passed by and she wasn't getting better.
"It's supposed to work, why isn't it working." I panicked as her body begun to heat up like crazy.
"Maybe you missed something, did you follow the steps correctly?" Normy asked.
"Of course I did!" I snapped.
"I thought I was crazy." Martha let out a strained chuckle. "You are arguing with yourself."
"Stop talking" I hushed her. I was happy that she was able to at least talk but if she continued then she would use up all her energy.
Raking my messy hair I sat beside her and re-read each and every step I took while making the antidote.
"I followed everything." I sighed angrily throwing the damn book across the room. "Damn it!"

"Hey, it's ok." Martha forced a smile.
"It's not ok!" I yelled. "I can't lose you too!" breaking down into tears. "Why am I this cursed, Yasmin was right, I was destined to die alone."
"That's not true." She frowned.
"It is, everyone I come in contact with always leaves."
"That's not true Rosy."
"It is Martha, I mess up everyone's life, if I had just stayed away non of this wouldn't have happened to you."
"These few weeks you've been here have been the best." She took my hand. "You are the closest friend I've ever had and whether I die or not, I'm glad I met you." She took a breath. "You are an amazing person those who leave are the ones who don't and never deserved you."
"I'm a curse Mars." I sighed.
"You are a good and badass curse then cause you just saved me from whatever that was." She motioned to the body of the creature.
Staring at it something popped in my mind.
"Fucking shit!" I got up wiping my tears away.
"What?" She chuckled.
"Normy, that's not what we think it is." I told her.
That explained everything, why the antidote wasn't working and why it's heart was so small.
"What could this be." I got another book that contained different creatures and their names. Turning the creature that was laying face first, I studied it and looked for what it was but to my dismay it wasn't mentioned, only had similar features with a witch and vampire.
"That explains the scent" I mumbled.
Raking my hair again and again I failed to come up with a solution.
"Only one person can help us save her." Normy told me.

"No, that's not an option." I shook my head still trying to figure everything out.
"Rosalie we have no other option, if you want her to live we need to leave now."
"I'm not asking for their help!" I snapped.
"Rosalie this place isn't even safe anymore, we need to get out of here what if more of them come, what will we do then huh?"
"I'll do to them what I did him." I snarled.
"It would have been better if we knew what they were and looking for." She reasoned.
Sighing I got off the ground, getting a suitcase I went to Martha's room and packed a few clothes and essential things before going back to mine and doing the same.
"Are we finally going on a road trip." She joked.
"I don't know how you are still able to make jokes in your condition." I shook my head at her.
"Hey, I don't want to die feeling as bad as I look." She joked making me laugh.
"You are crazy." I grabbed my bag that contained medicines and other stuff we might need for our little trip.
"Hey genius."
"Hm" I hummed turning to her.
"You know we need a car for this road trip of ours right?"
"I know, I've got it covered." I assured and went back to packing.
After I was done packing I got the camera and took various picture of the creature before getting some containers and packing it's heart, eyes, tongue, fangs, hair, thumb and blood inside.
"Take the penis too." Martha spoke.
"Seriously?" I scoffed.
"Hey I want a souvenir too." She huffed. "It's going to be my trophy piece."
"Whatever." With my nose scrunched I did as she said and I added his foot and arm.
"I'm coming, please don't die." I teased.
"And leave my dick with you, not a chance."
Laughing I left the house, making sure to seal the door.
When I got back I covered Martha in something warm and carried her to the car I just happened to have stolen in the parking lot.
"Whose car?" She asked as I buckled my seatbelt and started the engine.
"Walter." I shrugged.
Walter is our grumpy ass neighbor who is always throwing mean and disgusting comments at us every chance he gets.
"Did you ask him?" She frowned.
"Guys a jerk, it's the least he can do to apologize." I shrugged making her chuckle.
"You never told me you knew how to drive."
"I don't, but how hard can it be." I joked.
"Rosalie!" For the first time I heard her raise her voice.
"Relax it's a joke." I pushed her chair back so she could sleep and I drove into the main road.
"You are going to be ok Mars, I promise." I kissed the back of her hand and she smiled.
I'm back with a bang y'all. I know this chapter isn't long and I'm sorry for that.
Any thoughts on where Rosalie is taking Martha?
Who do you think Normy was referring to when she said only one person could help them?
