《•°From Peer to Professor°• Severus Snape x Reader》Apparition

I woke up to sun beams shining on my face through the window. The curtains were slightly separated, allowing only a little bit of light to enter the room. I sighed and rolled over to see that the spot next to me was empty. Severus must have already gone downstairs. I couldn't lie, I was a bit disappointed that Severus wasn't there when I woke up. But I guess if he woke up a while ago, he wouldn't want to just sit here waiting for me to wake up. I got up and made my way downstairs and got a whiff of something that smelled really good. I turned the corner into the kitchen and saw Severus making something at the stove. He too was still in his sleeping attire.
"Good morning." Severus greets while still facing the stove.
"Morning." I replied and walked over to see what he was making.
"Ooo, bacon and eggs?" I smiled up at him once I saw what he was preparing.
He hummed in response and continued frying the eggs and bacon. Once the meal was plated, we sat down in the living room and ate our food. A thought came to mind and I decided I should ask Severus about it,
"Severus?"
He gave me a look that let me know to ask my question.
"I was wondering if you could possibly teach me Apparition." I asked.
Severus contemplated what I had asked him and then set his plate down.
"Yes I could teach you how, but you would then need to aquire a license that allows you to Apparate by taking a test. But if you'd like, I can teach you the bare minimum you need to know in order to pass said test." Severus explained.
"I would like that very much. I've grown to like Apparition for is usefulness." I replied happily.
And just like that, the two of us got changed into our everyday attire and set out to what looked like an abandoned field.
"Alright. In order to successfully Apparate, you must keep in mind these three words. Destination, Determination, and Deliberation. You must be determined and think strongly about your desired destination. I suggest you think of a place nearby, perhaps a couple meters in one direction. Apparition becomes trickier the longer the distance is." Severus explained the basics, me nodding in response.
"Picture in your mind the location you'd like to Apparate to. Invision the field and block out any distractions." Severus said before going silent to let me focus.

I invisioned a part of the field that was a couple meters behind Severus and attempted to gather up enough determination to Apparate to that spot. I stood there for what felt like a couple minutes and felt a familiar spinning sensation before opening my eyes and looking around. I looked around and noticed I had apparated much farther than intended. I could still see Severus from where I was standing, but from this distance he looked like an ant. I saw him disappear and heard him reappear behind me. Turning abruptly in his direction, I smiled widely.
"I did it!" I exclaimed.
"Well done. Although, I suggest you work more on the concentration portion of the destination. You don't want to end up getting splinched in the process of apparating." Severus warned me.
"I will, now all I need to do is get a license correct?" I asked him.
"Yes, I will inquire with Professor Dumbledore about having you tested as soon as possible." Severus assured me.
Severus and I spent a little more time practicing apparition. I believe I did pretty well and I didn't get nauseous at all. Which may or may not have to do with the fact that I've apparated with Severus before. By the time we got home, it was almost dark, but the sky still had a deep blue tint to it. We talked a bit while walking up the steps and then inside the house. I was looking over my shoulder at Severus and was explaining something about potions to him until I felt something slide against my ankle. I looked down and my face went pail. A frighteningly large snake was slithering past my leg into the living room. I stood frozen, mostly from shock and secondly because I didn't want to give it a reason to bite me.
"S-Severus.. what the hell is that." I trembled.
Severus was still standing behind me as I heard voices coming from the living room. Once the snake was out of sight we both turned the corner and we're met with a sight I definitely hadn't expected. Lord Voldemort was stood in the living room alongside the man who I remember to be Lucius Malfoy.
"What is going on here?" I demanded.
"Ah. (Y/N), my dear child. We've come to check on your progress." Lord Voldemort replied.
"How did you kno-"
"It's alright (L/N), I told Lord Voldemort that you would be staying here with me." Severus interrupted before I asked my question.

"Exactly. Now, what progress have you made regarding training?" Lord Voldemort asked me.
"Professor Snape has taught me about Occlumency and we just had a lesson on Apparition." I replied curtly.
"Excellent. But why don't you stick to learning something more powerful, such as.. The Unforgivable Curses?"
I cringed at the thought of using one of those spells on someone,
"I don't see why I would have a use for them. I'm not the type of person to kill and torture."
"Dear child, those curses a Death Eater. You learn them and use them in the future. I'll make sure of it.." Lord Voldemort replied with a hint of evil in his voice.
"Fine." I replied, trying not to burst with anger.
"Lucius, let us take our leave. Nagini. Come." Lord Voldemort tells both Lucius, and presumably the snake to follow.
Once they were all gone, I looked over at Severus who was still watching the door for movement or sound. I took hold of his hand, which made him look at my hand and then up at me.
"I don't ever want to use an Unforgivable Curse on an innocent person, Severus." I told him.
"Let us hope it doesn't come to that." He replied before pulling me into a warm embrace.
I held onto him tightly and took in his scent, which seemed to calm me down from my worrying state. I sighed and looked at him,
"What did I do to deserve you, Sev?"
Severus ears seemed to redden a bit at my words.
"I believe I should be the one asking you that question." He returned the thought.
I chuckled and continued to hold onto Severus. To my surprise, I was lifted off the ground, causing me to instinctively wrap my legs around Severus' waist. I looked at him quizzically and only got a smirk in return.
"What are you doing?" I chuckled at his actions.
"Taking your mind off of things." Severus replied with a smirk.
All of a sudden, Severus began walking towards the stairs. I held on for dear life, not sure whether Severus would be able to balance me while going up steep stairs. He successfully navigated the stairs and doorknob before walking over to his bed. Severus dropped me on the bed and then walked over to his wardrobe. I sat up, confused as to why Severus just dropped me here.
"What was that all about?" I asked him while sitting back up on the edge of the mattress.
"Hm?" He replied, acting as if he hadn't the slightest clue what he just did.
"Was that all about?" I asked, raising a brow at him.
He stopped futzing with clothing hangers and replied without turning his head towards me,
"You need to be well rested for tomorrow so that I can teach you more spells among other things."
"I see." I replied, deep in thought about what I should do next.
I decided to get off the bed and walk over to where Severus was standing. Very slowly, I ran a hand through his hair and placed a kiss against his neck, which caused him to shiver.
I grabbed a hold of Severus' wrist and pulled him over to the bed. I pushed a hand against his chest to make him fall back on the mattress and then sat down on his lap. He looked unsure about what I was doing, so I attempted to reassure him by placing a kiss against the corner of his mouth. Severus returned the gesture with a kiss of his own. I took that as an ok to continue.
As we continued this, 'makeout session' if you will, my hands made their way to the buttons on Severus' robes. I had opened only about 3 of the buttons when I felt him pull back.
"(Y/N).." Severus sighed as he caught his breath.
"Yeah?" I asked him, hoping I didn't push him past his comfort zone.
"As much as I'd love to continue.. were going to have to cut things short." Severus sighed reluctantly.
"Why is that?" I asked him, deciding to just run a hand through his hair again.
"We must attend something tomorrow evening, so I'd like us to be well rested." Severus explained.
"Ok.. may I ask what it is we have to attend?" I inquired.
"I'd like for that to remain a secret until tomorrow." Severus told me.
"Alright. Well. I guess I'll just go change now." I responded before getting up to grab my sleepwear.
Once both of us had changed we got situated on either side of the bed. I guess Severus made the right call to cut things short, due to the fact that Severus fell asleep within a minute of laying down. I smiled and cuddled up to him, resting my head against his chest before I myself dozed off into a deep sleep.
