A couple weeks after their confrontation, Bella's birthday came up. The tension between Bella and Aquila didn't go unnoticed by Charlie. He saw how Bella would glare at Aquila. He saw how Aquila would try to clench her fist and stop herself from attacking Bella, an action Charlie often saw Luna do everytime Renee was around. He tried to talk them out of their argument but his actions were futile, especially when Bella almost jumped onto Aquila because of Aquila's passive agressive comment. He decided to let the two cool off before convincing them to work things out.
A day before Bella's birthday she was able to force them to prepare a birthday party for her. As to how she did it, she found out about Aquila being a witch. She threatened her she'll do everything to make the people believe her this time. This isn't something Aquila could get away from especially with MACUSA.
The American ministry isn't as forgiving as the British ministry. Sure, they're the saviors of the wizarding world but their actions wouldn't be excused. Draco and Aquila, being raised as Purebloods, believe that MACUSA will use everything, issues and all, to gain control upon a person.
Rosalie comforted Aquila, telling her they're more than happy to help her out. She almost lost Aquila on a war. She won't let the MACUSA take her away from them because of her jealous cousin.
Bella's birthday party was held on the Cullen's house. While Bella was being dressed up by a calm Alice and a murderous Rosalie, Aquila was led by Edward into a room she didn't have the chance to enter before. She marveled on the beautiful painting of the very familiar people.
"The Volturi." Aquila breathed out.
It was a beautiful eighteenth century painting of four people on a Greecian themed high balcony in their robes looking down upon the bacchanal. Aro and Marcus, the two men with long black hair. Caius, almost rivaling Draco's white blonde hair. But what surprised Aquila was the golden haired man a little far back, Carlisle.
"The Volturi is the closest thing my world has to royalty."

"Their the ruling coven." Aquila nods in understanding. "Who painted this?"
"Francesco Solimena painted this. He often depicted the Volturi as Gods." Edward answered.
"I never knew Carlisle was a part of their coven." Aquila stated.
"Yes. He lived with them for a few decades. He describes them as a very refined killers. And yes, they are the ruling coven which makes them the enforcers." Edward confirmed.
"Enforcers of what?"
"The only rule they have, to keep the existence of our kind a secret. We don't make spectacles for ourselves, or kill conspicuously, unless we want to die." Edward answered.
"Nope. I'm not having this conversation about you wanting to die. You're suicidal, I'm suicidal. This isn't going to work. I might encourage you to go through it or even come and die with you. Nope. Not happening." She rambled while pacing. Edward chuckled and pulled her into a hug.
"I wouldn't especially with you in my arms. Who else would hurt me?"
"We both know there are more dangerous things out there." Aquila reminded him. "And then there's my very human cousin who had an effect similar to a dementor." Aquila looked him in the eye and connected their foreheads. "I can protect you. I will protect you... Always."
"I know. But you do protect me." Edward said then kissed her nose. "From boredom..." He kissed her lips. "And from loneliness..." He mumbled in between the kisses. "You give me a reason to stay...undead. But it's my job... To protect you." They both smiled at each other but then Edward heard someone's thoughts. "...from everyone but my sister."
The door burst open and Alice came in dancing around. "It's time! It's time! It's time!"
Alice dragged them out of the room then she skipped down the stairs. The couple looked down the living room and saw hundreds of pink candles and rose-filled crystal bowls. Bella was already down the stairs beside Esme and Carlisle who were trying to be as polite as they can while the Cullen kids and former Hogwarts students were having a conversation of their own. Everyone, except Bella on her green dress, looks stunning. This reminds Aquila of Slughorn's Christmas party where Ron, Harry, Hermione, a party crasher Draco and her all dressed up fancily.

"Sorry about this. We tried to rein Alice in." Carlisle said to Bella.
"Like that's even possible." Esme piped in.
"It's fine. Everything looks very beautiful."
Their attention went onto the stairs as Edward and Aquila walked down like a king guiding his queen. Bella was about to stomp onto their direction when she was cut off by a flash of light from the camera Charlie brought her as a gift.
"Found it in your bag. Mind?" Alice asked innocently. Bella was forced to smile beside her gigantic cake as Alice took a picture.
"Thank god you're dating a hotter woman." Emmett whispered at Edward nudge him as Aquila chuckled, hearing what the bulky vampire said. "What?"
Rosalie stepped forward with a scowl as she shoved the gift on Bella. "Alice and I were forced to picked it up for you." Bella smiled nervously at her.
"Alice, the new kids, Aquila and I are the only ones who could eat cake. That thing could feed fifty." Bella said.
"She doesn't have to eat it all until the last crumb." Hermione whispered irritatedly which made them snicker.
"Hope you're hungry. Here this one's from Emmett." Alice said handing her an empty gift box.
"Uh...thanks?"
"Already installed it on your truck. That truck needs a decent sound." Emmett said.
"Good for her. Finally a decent sound system for that old--"
"No hating on the truck."
"Oh please. Believe me when I say it's not the truck that we hate." Rosalie mumured.
"This is Esme's and Carlisle's."
Bella saw this as a chance to wind the Cullens up.
"Damn paper cut." Bella cursed with fake annoyance as a drop of red blood oozed out of her cut.
But to her disappointment, none of the Cullens even became uncomfortable with it. It only took a second before Carlisle appeared with a small band aid. Aquila had been giving them Bloodpops and they have been eating it at least once a day. They no longer crave for blood too much.
"Are you telling me a paper can easily get her killed?" Draco asked in disbelief.
"With the right angle of a dislocated paper from a tight bundle of sheets of papers and a room full of bloodthirsty vampires, yes." Hermione answered which made everyone except the birthday girl laugh.
The rest of the night was pretty uneventful. Bella went home alone as the vampires and the ex-students of Hogwarts decided to stay and have a little after party consisting of butterbeer and fire whiskey, some are infused with dragon blood, and lots and lots of sweets and pranking candies from the twins. Harry and Draco ate one. Harry's skin turned neon pink while Draco's skin turned neon green, which they discovered were glow in the dark when the lights turned off accidentally.
The vampires were drunk because dragon blood infused drinks were able to get inside their system. Emmett was wasted for the first time in forever. He went out and brought back a tree in which he claimed was alone because he is the forest's outcast. Rosalie ranted to Hermione how she should style her hair while Alice told her she's liking the new style Hermione is trying. Jasper and Ron were comforting Emmett who was dry sobbing, feeling sympathy for the loner tree. Esme and Carlisle laughed as they watched their children being normal. Edward and Aquila sneaked inside Edward's room as they swayed from old songs playing in Edward's vinyl.
Everything was perfect. Everyone was happy. What could go wrong?
____
A/N:
You might get confused as to why dragon blood helps them drink and eat like humans. It will be revealed in the third part.
Anyways Charlie Weasley would like to assure everyone that the dragon blood was properly acquired professionally from the dragons. No dragons had been harmed for their blood.
Fun Fact:
Bella still couldn't remember when Aquila obliviated her. Her memories would only return if she gets turned into a vampire.

Aether-powered Skyships prowl the skies, as all the great nations blessed by the Gates try to turn the blessings of the Labyrinth into immediate advantages. But for Jonas, an apprentice leatherworker, his friend Ira, and so many Londoners, the fabled ones that walk the Labyrinth are distant heroes, seen from afar. They fell short when their Potential was measured, and they fill their mundane lives with distant dreams. One man wants to break the stalemate. And when civilians are caught in the fallout, the unthinkable happens. Six people, unqualified, forbidden to ever enter the Labyrinth, find themselves stranded in a distant zone, forcefully turned into Professionals. They know little of what that means, but they have to figure out the rules that are now their lot, for they have little hope to escape their predicament otherwise. They need to understand what the descriptors in their minds mean, what each of the strange piece of gear waiting in treasure chests behind terrible guardians can bring them. They have to become Professionals on their own and rejoin the Empire. They will figure out their new lives one way or another. But will there be an Empire waiting for them when the Gates re-open? Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.
