"Shall we discuss Isabella and Charlie Swan's knowledge about our kind?"
Instead of being intimidated or feeling fear, Aquila felt feral. It's already bad enough that Bella knows and she'd have to deal with MACUSA one of these days. Charlie has known about the existence of magic for decades because of Luna and had only been made aware about the presence of vampires less than a year ago.
"That is my family's business, thank you very much." She replied calmly yet her tone held warning.
"No, of course it is. But since the Cullens are involved, it is also our business. Your uncle is aware and very protective of you. If things go down hill, who knows how much he would sacrifice to avenge you? Isabella Swan is also aware about our existence and she is walking freely. Who knows what danger her knowledge about us might bring?" Aro asked with faux innocence earning nods from the vampires around the room, except for Alice and Edward.
Aquila hated how Aro is hinting that her relationship with Edward would go down hill even after knowing they are mates.
"Charlie Swan is a very sensible man. He will not do anything stupid like reveal the existence of your kind to muggles for he knew how important secrecy is when it comes to magic and supernatural. My cousin is my responsibility. Stay out of it." Aquila stated.
"Indeed. But how can we be sure that there is no danger?" Aro asked.
"We should kill Isabella Swan. Or should we kill the Cullen clan for being the reason she found out?" Caius asked which made Aquila glare at him.
"Neither of the two, Malfoy wannabe." Aquila sneered. Edward tried to pull her into his chest to calm her down. "As cruel as it sounds, Bella is in love with Edward and would do anything for the acceptance of the Cullens and that is our leverage towards her. We know she wouldn't do anything to reveal the existence of vampires especially since she wanted to be one." A calmer Aquila said.
"So what do we do with you now?" Aro asked as he thinks out loud.
"You already know what you'll do, Aro." Marcus said in a raspy voice.
"Her cousin knows too much. She's a liability." Caius piped in.
"That's true. Unless Edward intends to give her immortality...But that's not your intention. Shame."

Edward read Aro's mind as he thought of the possibility of Edward leaving Aquila for Bella, which made Edward snarl.
"I would never choose anyone over Aquila. Bella had an obsession and she needs therapy but I would never leave my star for her."
"That's what he was thinking?" Aquila asked Edward which made Edward nod. Aquila then stepped in front of Edward and Alice. "You don't get it, do you? Let me summarize everything for a witless fool like you. He is mine as I am his. They fought with us at war because of me. They did it to protect me, not to disrespect your silly vampire police. As for my family knowing about your existence, I will be handling the matter. I am a witch after all. I can obliviate my own cousin, thank you very much. We're just letting her brain adjust after being obliviated by me a few months ago. We do not know how the hell she knew for the second time around but she will forget everything again. She would not be a liability for you so please. Kindly fuck off."
"How extraordinary. You would give up your life for someone like us." Aro asked as he walked towards Aquila, earning a warning growl from Edward. "A vampire. A soulless monster."
"You don't know anything about his soul." Aquila said, standing her ground.
Thick tension swirled in the atmosphere as Aquila glared at Aro who was acting innocent, Marcus who couldn't care less and Caius who was baring his teeth at them. Edward stood beside his mate, ready to defend her when push came to shove. Their staring contest was cut short when Alice suddenly gasped as she is sucked into a vision.
"Edward, Aquila, stop. I've already seen it." Alice spoke up.
"Alice, stay out of it." Edward asked through his gritted teeth.
"I know what to do." She then turned towards the kings. "You wouldn't have to kill Bella. She's bound to become one of us, one way or another. I've seen it."
"Wait. What do you mean?" Aquila asked with both confusion and discontent.
"It will happen Aro. See for yourself." Alice replied as she thrusted her hand towards the said king.
Aro took her hand as he watched the vision.
Edward was hunting on the forest. But he looks like he was running after another vampire. The said vampire that he was running after was wearing a red summer dress, eyes shining like silver instead of gold. It was Aquila. Her laughter echoing like bells emitting uncanny and blissful melodies.

The vision changed with Aquila, who was still very human, standing face to face with a red eyed Bella. Their conversation was muted but it looked like Aquila was trying to convince Bella for a hug as she opened her arms for her cousin. Bella was walking in for the hug.
After watching the vision, Aro grinned widely with a glint of greed behind his eyes. "Mesmerizing! To see things you've seen that haven't happened yet."
Aquila pulled Alice in between her and Edward. The pixie haired vampire whispered an apology.
"Your gift would make for an intriguing immortal." Aro stated.
"Let me be clear. I would only become an immortal when I want. You wouldn't dictate me when." Aquila stated. She knew she's going to be a vampire for she refused to leave Edward behind.
"Of course. Go make your preparation."
"Let us be done with this. Heidi will arrive any moment." Marcus added.
"There are better ways to drink human blood without killing anyone. Blood bags exist. And Bloodpops can help your bloodlust. Just... Think about it." Aquila stated before Felix escorted them out.
She had saved lives as she fought the war but there isn't anything she can do for the people that Heidi was leading to the throne room. She wanted to intervene but if she does, the ministry of magic and MACUSA and even the Italian ministry would come for her. Wizards and witches are cruel and selfish. They would save their kind but neglect muggles. How many wars they could've stopped.
But then humans in general are greedy and selfish. Many wars could've been stopped by magic but more wars would have risen. Muggles slaughtered witches before even though they knew nothing. That's just it. Humans are afraid of the unknown whether they are vampires, witches, wizards, shifters or muggles.
As Aquila sat on the plane with her mate and pseudo sister, she couldn't help but ask.
"Edward?"
"Yes, my star?"
"What made Aro think there is any possibility our relationship would go downhill? And what made him think you'd go for Bella?"
This question made Edward sight. He loves Aquila and he doesn't want to keep anything from her. They are on their relationship's earlier stages and in order to strengthen it, they should build a strong foundation...Trust.
"There are...cases where blood singers become a vampire's mate. But that only happens when vampires haven't found their true mates. But I found you. I don't want anybody but you. And it isn't because you're my mate. I know you, Aquila. I've seen who you are. You're beautiful inside and out. You are very accepting, empathetic, passionate and kind. You never judged anybody without knowing their side. You saw past my vampirism. You don't want to be like me. You just want to be with me. How can I let this perfectly imperfect woman who had the most beautiful soul go?" Edward explained. He took Aquila's hand on his own and kissed her knuckles before he continued.
"When he touched me, he saw each and every memory I have of you. He saw my thoughts with it and I admit. There are times where I thought I can never be good enough for you, that I cannot give you the life that you deserve. You deserve a normal and happy life and I cannot give you that. I am a vampire. I cannot grow old with you. I cannot give you children. If you choose an eternity with me, I fear that you would get tired of me. Those thoughts would lead me to think of moving away and leaving you behind. But I can never do it. I can never leave you. Because if I do, I know I'll come running back one way or another. You are my existence. I am yours. "
Aquila couldn't stop the happy tears that streamed down her face as she listened to Edward's words. Edward cupped her face and wiped her tears with his thumbs. Their foreheads connected as their eyes closed, absorbing each other's presence.
Edward kissed her forehead. It was chaste and long. And it made Aquila feel every emotion he felt towards her. Worry, fear, yearning, passion, protectiveness, . At that moment, the world faded away. There were only Aquila and Edward. Two lovers with one of the most beautiful stories and strongest love.

Condemned
“The human body is a fragile thing. But the soul... The soul is malleable. Easily tainted. All it takes is one drop of blood to dye it all red.” Long ago, in a time remembered only by a few, the seven lords of Syvernia, led by the Great Hero Ludwig, ended the Great Calamity that plagued humanity for as long as time itself. It was the dawn of a new age of man. . . until the thirst for more poisoned the new lords. Slowly, the thread that held humanity together loosened and a thick haze consumed the lands between. Mysterious vanishings, supernatural forces, and silence warns of a looming threat inside the coat of fog. Though the struggle of the realms did not interest Leor, for he was condemned as a Purblight, until he took a seemingly simple job: escort Alden to Lightendale and collect the handsome reward, a reward that would let him live the rest of his life with ease. But it’s never that simple, especially for someone who denounced the Gods. All his life, death followed Leor everywhere he went, cutting down his friends and family. When his first love died at the hands of an agent of light, he was prepared to throw everything away until a mysterious voice promised him a chance for retribution and a chance to bring her back by completing the seven trials. Thrown into the realm's struggle against the approaching haze and themselves, will Leor, a Purblight and an acquaintance of tragedy, use the very power he disdains to accomplish his goals? This is the rewrite of my novel: Condemned; I changed it to past tense and added/ took out some ideas from the original. This is essentially the first draft since I'm writing as I go. Also, there might be or might not be Gore, Sexual, or Traumatizing content. I only put it there for a disclaimer in case I want to add it. I have no set release schedule yet, but I'll try to post once every 2 week. Thanks for your patience.

Hiraeth | Regulus Black
The Avery family were one of the few truly pureblood wizarding families left in society. One of the first Death Eaters, he showed tremendous loyalty towards his friend and master Lord Voldemort during his first rise to power. Not only was Lucas active in his duties, he also raised two children to carry his respect into the next generation. One of his children did this with great dignity and honour... Whilst the other did not. Esmeralda (Esme) Avery never truly fit in anywhere. No matter how hard she tried. This case of isolation is perhaps what led Esme to rebel so fearlessly against what was expected against her. Then, in her sixth year at Hogwarts, she did something extraordinary. Not only was this one last desperate escape from the traumatic woes facing her at home, it also cemented her future. One fateful evening would lead Esme not only on a path of discovery but also fear and heartache. Are there any other kind of stories during Voldemort's first rise to power?
