Donnie was in the lab, as per usual. He was trying to figure out how the Krang portals worked.
"Maybe if I rerouted the central cortex to the inner cranium power source, the outer cortex would get some power, and then the portals would open!" Donnie suggested to himself. So he did just that and threw the triangle into the air. It hovered for a second, then fell with a clunk. Donnie groaned and slumped dramatically into his chair.
Then the device started to glow and hum. Donnie was too absorbed in his work to notice.
There was a scream from the kitchen, but again, Donnie didn't notice. Mikey barged in.
"Yo Donnie! Leo broke the toaster..." Mikey trailed off, staring at the tan and brown portal hovering in front of Donnie's desk. Donnie sighed and looked up.
"Again?" Mikey could only nod. "What are you staring at? Did I lose another tooth?" Donnie started probing his mouth with one of his three fingers. Mikey shook his head, and Donnie finally followed his gaze. " Oh..."
