"What is she?" Brenda asked horrific never truly seen a moon creature with her own eyes.

"She's half a witch." Ophelia said examining the girl.

"Half witch?" Brenda asked confused. "She's human but most likely her grandmother used to live on the moon's side."

"What do we do ?, how do we get her down?"

Ophelia pulls the girl's leg until they touch the floor. Hazel let's out a sharp breath and her pupils returned.

"What happened?, what happened to me?"

"Ladies are you dressed?" The guards asks from outside the house.

Ophelia fakes a giggle.

"In a minute" she says flirtatiously.

The girl move to the kitchen, there they are assigned places to clean and fruits to slides and chill in ice.

"Shouldn't we tell the king?" Brenda asked Ophelia while looking at Hazel clean as if nothing happened to her.

"Tell him what?, that there's a half moon creature amongst us?. Hazel will be killed for no reason but birth linage, as if she hasn't gone through enough because of that."

"But she could harm us."

"She's only half, she won't even be able to use spells or craft."

"But still, she's a moon creature, they all crave blood and death."

"I'll let you in on a little secret Brenda.. most people you've met are moon creatures. The moon and sun recently separated sides. Before we were one big world but the war forced the moon creatures into exile. So of course there were people who hid in order to not be exiled.

The king himself sitting on that throne banished his brothers who were moon creatures when he himself possesses the moon's sliver bloodline."

"The king is a moon creature too?"

"Get him angry enough and see the world around him crumble. " Ophelia said as if she'd seen the king's moon side.

Brenda felt all too uncomfortable, Moon creatures were inherently wrong and evil.

"What if she hurts someone."

"We will deal with it ourselves, She our friend, we are a family so let's protect each other as best as we can."

Brenda wasn't sure if she could call a witch her family.

Daylight breaks and Ophelia takes a deep breath before opening the door for Mina to bring in Lady akia's breakfast.

"She's not here?" Mina asked, turning to look at Ophelia, who pretends to be shocked.

"CALL THE GUARDS!" Ophelia shouted and soon guards of all kinds were running towards the chambers.

"I saw her last night.. she said she wanted to return something to the king. Perhaps she may still be returning it." One of the guards said and Ophelia nods.

Mina and the maids and guard walk over to the king's chambers. Juliet was already at her post in front of the chambers.

"What's with the parade?, did something happen?." She asked eying the guards behind the maids.

"Lady Akia is gone."

Juliet chokes.

"Why's there so much noise?" Clast said coming from inside the king's chamber.

"Your sister escaped." Juliet said nonchalantly.

"We have to find her before the king notices." Clast said to everyone involved.

"We'll surely take our last breaths by dawn if we can't find her." Juliet said and the servants all nod in agreement.

"What's going on here?" The court lady asked.

"Nothing My lady, we were just trying to figure out what time lunch was, it is the Queen's birthday after all." Juliet said flashing the woman a soft smile.

"Be grateful that the king favors you." The court lady said before picking up her dress and walking away.

"We must find her." Juliet said.

Everyone agreed.

The guards leave the palace being led by Clast. "Ophelia, brenda and Hazel go to her room and lock the chamber doors. Act as if she's too upset to do anything at all and no matter what make sure that the king doesn't get into her chambers on any condition."

Juliet said and the girls nod before retreating back into the direction of Akia's chambers.

"Mina go get the hounds, and a piece of fabric from her clothing." Juliet said and the maid trembles.

She didn't want Akia to be found.

she knew the minute she took the hounds from the palace's animal den that Akia wouldn't be able to hide at all.

But she does it anyway. after all Juliet was the palace's wisest maid, not to mention the king's favorite. Disobeying her resulted in extreme and unsympathetic punishment, sometimes even worse than one the king would give.

"I'll take the hounds, stand guard at the king's door. Tell him that I had womanly issues." Juliet said.

"Okay."

With small wolves in her hands Juliet demands that the gates be opened.

The hounds had a good sniff of the Akia's clothes and she was positive that she could find her.

"Mother.. I slept in the farmhouse like I've always wanted to. I remember always wondering what sounds the animals made at night but most of the time they were deafeningly silent. Perhaps they took pity on me." Akia said to herself.

She was planning on going to the mansion and waking up her mother and telling her she'd gotten away from the king's evil clutches but what if the king came looking for her, her mother might not be able to handle lying. She could get caught and harmed.

Akia laid back down on the hay, the animals in the barn haven't even noticed her yet.

Clast knocks loudly at his family house's front door. The family head servant answers.

"Oh, Clast what can I do for you this early in the morning."

"Akia.. where is she?"

"In the palace of course where else?"

"Where's mother?" Clast asked pushing passed the man.

Before coming here Clast had separated guards, some had to go to his aunts, uncles, cousins and commoners who had a strong history with Akia.

Anyone who was recognized as someone who pledged against the king taking her, would have every corner of their house exposed to make sure she wasn't hiding there. Akia wasn't very smart or all that crafty, so she had to be hiding under a roof she deemed safe.

Catching her would only be a matter of time.

Clast enters the house to see his mother sitting down and drinking tea, she had a book in her hand and was focus entirely on reading it.

The book it self was titled the 'ties between the moon and the sun'. Books like those were illegal now, but it wasn't in Clast's job description to handle such a thing.

"Mother where are you keeping Akia?"

The woman was startled turning around to meet her son.

"Oh my, It's good that you're here. I've been doing some reading and I found something quite interesting. This book right here says that once the sun king is born , the birth of a worthy moon king will follow. It says that that's the way the earth is gonna keep balance. If we allow the sun king to be born then death, war and destruction will follow. We'll be plunging our nation into bloodshed, poverty and slavery once more."

Clast draws his sword.

"I asked you a question Mother."
