" With the high profile couple getting married their companies have been merged and the couple will look after the company, henceforth." read Mr. Raheja, Vikram's dad.
" Ah, the news always adds a lot of pressure." Juhi grumbled.
" As if the pressure was never there." Vikram scoffed.
" Oh please Mr. Raheja, you are habituated with this kind of pressure, I am not!" She grumbled.
" Why are you so cranky today?" He asked annoyed.
" You are asking me that! Your phone could not stop blaring in my ears last night and you are asking why could I not sleep!" She glared at him.
" You could have told me!" He exclaimed.
" Since How long have we been sharing a room for, Mr. Raheja? I guess, four months." She replied sassily.
" But.." Vikram was cut off by their father.
" Ok children, enough of quarrelling early in the morning! You quarrel like an old married couple!"
Juhi laughed while Vikram glared at her.
" Come on, dad let's go in and have breakfast. Grumpy you can join as well." Juhi said.
" Whom are you calling Grumpy, huh? As far as I remember you are being grumpy!" He exclaimed but nonetheless followed them inside.
Just then he saw his wife run towards somebody. He hurried inside to see her snuggled to her father's chest. Vikram no longer felt any remorse for anybody be it the Mishra's or his own mother.
Six months of separation from Juhi after Hina Raheja's fall and arrest, his proposal, her acceptance, a year of courtship, keeping that courtship a secret and finally getting married a few months ago and also the pressure to keep their wedding a secret for a few months of solace till Juhi completes her training and joins the office as CEO. It was enough time to forgive and forget.
" Vikram beta, waha kya khade ho? Aao Maa se milne! Lagta hai meri beti khyaal nahi rakhti tumhara vajan kam hua hai!" She rebuked him and her daughter.

( Vikram son, why are you standing there? Come meet mom! Seems like my daughter doesn't look after you, you have lost so much weight!)
Juhi gave her mother a subtle glare. She was her mother for crying out loud but ever since her and Vikram got back together, Mrs. Mishra had become more of Vikram's mother!
Mrs. Mishra smirked at Juhi, " You are your dad's princess. So hug him tighter! I have my son to keep me company."
Juhi looked at her father who indeed laughed at the comment.
Vikram hugged Mrs. Mishra and calmly closed his eyes. Everytime he hugged her, he was reminded of his Maa. True to her words Mrs. Mishra had never tried to replace Hina but had slowly built a special space for herself. She had supported him when he had shut down after Hina Raheja had hanged herself on her own birthday.
Yes, wonder why Vikram did not mention his mother? Because Mrs. Hina Raheja, his mother payed for her sins with each passing day in the jail, but when around a year had passed she couldn't bear it, her desire to live succumbed and one night she hanged herself.
Vikram and Mr. Raheja were informed. The duo was unable to accept the fact that she, Hina, commited suicide, for days. Had it not been for her last letter to them, they would have never moved on.
It simply read,
' My dear Vikram and Rajesh, you two were the best part of my life. Every moment spent with you two is deeply etched in my memory and know that I have been thinking of you both in my last moments.
I have committed many mistakes in my life. But they were mine, I shall bear their consequences not you two.
I am content with whatever life I lived. My only regret was to neglect you Vikram. Please forgive your mom for that.
And Rajesh, I am sorry for not being a good wife and mother.

Forgive me for yesterday and forgive me for what I am doing now.
Love,
Hina Raheja. '
The letter was laminated and kept in their study. It was her last memory.
Coming back to present.
Now Mr. and Mrs. Mishra had joined the Raheja's for breakfast. They were having a good time when suddenly Mrs. Mishra looked at Juhi with narrowed eyes.
" Juhi, I seem to recall you invited us for breakfast for some reason. What is it?"
All eyes zeroed in on Juhi.
" Umm, I have a few gifts for you all." She mumbled.
" What gifts? It's not any festival today, right?" Mr. Raheja thought aloud.
Juhi shaked her head and brought in a four gifts. Handing over the gifts she urged Vikram to first open his, he had two gifts afterall. He nodded and made a quick work of the wrapper to find a box.
Vikram was smart but still for a better clue he decided to open the next one. What he found was a pair of cute little shoes and elated he looked at Juhi who nodded happily, confirming his silent question.
He jumped out of his seat and lifted her up in his arms. Twirling around the couple couldn't stop laughing. He put her down and kissed her forehead, " We are going to be parents!"
" Yes!" She nodded enthusiastically.
The elders joined them as well after looking at the duo. Definitely elated. It was time for celebrations and for Juhi to listen to a lot of instructions.
Juhi saw the unopened gifts and asked or more like ordered them to open the gifts who quickly opened them to find cute little gifts.
( Mr. And Mrs. Mishra's gift)
(Mr. Raheja's gift)
Vikram saw everybody laughing at the onesies and celebrating. He just look up and smiled at his Maa's photo, ' You would have made a terrific grandmother'.
Mr. Raheja called him and said, " Come on call those three idiotic friends of yours. They need to plan a party and celebrate our promotion. Remember the party should be a secret. "
" Yes, dad!" Vikram nodded and a made a quick work of calling Sneha. He knew she would pass on the message to other two.
* At the party*
The party was conducted in Raheja mansion. All of their close friends which basically meant the three idiots and the elders, celebrated the occasion like no other. They were excited to welcome a kid in the next seven months. Taking turns they all made speeches for the couple.
While the elders blessed them and accounted a few of their moments, Rahul and Ashok enacted a play displaying their life after having the baby where they fought about who changed the nappies.
Sneha made a really emotional and funny speech.
" It is the last speech for the day. You both have enough blessings for the day, I guess. Still I shall play the role of a sister and wish you get a very cute baby on whom we all will fawn! Wish the baby shares a great bond with everybody especially his/her bua! Wish you all the luck and intelligence to make the baby a good person and an intelligent one as well! I can go on and on but know that we all are always there when you make any mistake or need a hand, not for changing nappies, mind you!"
All laughed at her and she got down the stage. Music was played and soon everyone was on the dancefloor, Ashok and Mr. Raheja raising a toast celebrating the night.
And they were ready to welcome the next phase of their life.
