what the fuck are the pups doing in this room?!

i look down at the pups, sitting up slowly and watching both of the Alphas wake up when i do, the pups dropping from my chest, i start to pick them all up and place them on a flat, clear part of the bed, one, two, three, four-five-six..where's the rest. i feel my face drain completely of colour as i scan the room, "Get up!" i snap and they both move as i get off the bed smelling the room, "where the hell did they go?" there scent stays on the bed.... under the bed, i dive under the bed and see them both curled up in the little den, "ah, okay, so just give me a minni heart attack, but i know how you feel-" i sigh, "it's a very comfortable place to be but next time they bring you into this room without my consent bite them for me?" i ask and they yelp at me, "yeah, you three are deffinatly going to be the first to shift!" i say petting them.

i turn around to go out when i see Aidan and Nathans heads, upside down, looking at me with awe, "your so cute!" Nathan awes and i smile.

"the cutest thing ever!" Aidan adds and i smile wider.

"there better still be six pups on that bed!" i warn and then they place all of the pups on the floor under them, they begin to crawl about, including the runt while the other three join the thrupe.... i watch as one pees on the carpet like it's marking it, i yelp at him, "Our room, not yours!" i snap and he stops, he walks over to me and crawls onto me while i turn around, he pees on me instead, "Lovely!" i say, letting him get on with it, "so you think i'm your personal potty or something?" i ask and he yelps at me and i laugh at him, "i stink now thanks to you!" i say and he grumbles while hopping off of me.

i turn back to see the rest of them playing around on the Alphas laps like they are climbing frames. i look to the side seeing one of the pups struggling, i climb out from under the bed and pick him up in my arms and looking over him, "i'll give you a week!" i say, lifting him up, hearing a click, "half a week!" i corrects and he whimpers, i pull him to my chest, "i know, fum story, it took me a full two week to shift into my human form while it took my brother just an hour!" i say, i lean over and pick up Nathan's phone looking at the date when i hear anoter click, "okay, i'm putting you down!" i say putting him down away from the others, Aidan and Nathan look up, "check the others if you hear a click, put em to the side!" i say softly and they look down.

"wait... is he shifting?" Nathan says with worry and shock and fear, "there too young!" he adds.

i shake my head, "the next time they shift will be around ten years old, they will spend the rest of the time in human form, right now it's safer and easier for them to be in fox form!" i narrow my eyes, "fox/wolf form?" i ask looking to them and they shrug in unison when i hear another click. i reach over to the pup, putting her to the side, giving her space too, "ummm-" i say thinking, i click my fingers, i reach onto the bed and pull down the pillows, then i go to the heat packs and pull them all out, placing them in a way and putting the pillows over them, i then place the shifting pups on the pillow, finding that i'm shaking, anything could happen...

"Raden?" Nathan calls, obviously noticing my worry and freak out.

"no, this is okay-" i snap, pointing at him, "this is not okay!" i say standing up and pasing the room.

"what do you mean?!" Aidan asks worriedly.

"anything could happen right now, you don't know when they are going to fully shift, they go from their bones cracking along a period of time and once their bones are ready they shift then, but their healing process is messy, they could stay broken from a week to a fucking year-" i freeze hearing a crack, followed by a yelp, i snap my head to the runt, "No, no, your deffinatly not ready!" i walk over, picking him up, "be extremely careful, i need the doctor!" i begin to cry as i rush out of the room with a crying runt in my hands, "it's okay, your okay, i'm okay, we'er all okay!" i say as i run past mum and dad with a few other people, "everythings going to be fine, the doctor will be able to solve i-" i look to see him not here, "WHERE IS HE?!" I scream in pure panic as i run back to mum and dad.

"what's wrong de-"

"he's not ready to shift, it's around that time, but he's just not ready, he wont survive, i don't want him to die!" i cry wildly as she gasps, "the doctor isn't there-" i cry holding the pup to my chest and crumbling to the floor, "he's not- he's not there!" i cry, breaking down in front of mum and dad and the people they have over.

"hay, hay-" a woman says and i'm shaking all over my body, "it's alright, you know, i was a runt!" she says, sitting down beside me and holding her arms out to the pup, "and my mum and dad were completely freaking out when i started to shift, i was shifting quickly, i was the last to shift, but i did it only half a week after my brother and sister-" she coos as i cry some more, "and i'm just fox, you have to remember he's part werewolf too" she says and tries to take him from me.

"no, no, he's mine-" i cry but my mum comes over to me and holds me closely while she takes the pup.

"and she used to do these little movements with me-" i look over as i see her pressing her thumbs roughly against the pup, i shout at her but she shakes her head, hearing my pup yelp, "what it does it is gets the pup used to it, you massarge their major joints and eventually work down to the other joints, it hurts at first but he calms down!" she says and he stops yelping and returns to just crying quietly, mum lets go of me and i take the pup back quickly and swiftly, "how old are you?" she asks when she looks at me.

"seventeen!" i say and she caughs.

"geezus, and how many pups?" she asks and i stroke my cub.

"nine!" i say sobbing quietly as tears flow down my cheeks at the possibility that he could die..

"nine, my mate's 24 and he gave birth to four beautiful cubs, he was in bed for weeks after!" she chuckles and i hold onto him.

"Raden!" i look up to see Aidan walk down, i begin to cry again and he comes down and holds me close, "what happened, little mate?" he asks and i sob.

"he's going to be fine, he's just worried about the pup!" she answers, "are you the dad?" she asks and he nods.

"me and Nathan!" he answers and she caughs again..

"Why the hell are you worrying about?!" she says with shock, "this pup may be the runt to the litter but with two Alphas in their blood he's going to survive, remember, they aren't normal fox shifters, Raden!" she says and Aidan stiffens.

"What!?" he snaps.

"he was worried the runt wouldn't survive the shift, but i can assure you he will, i'm the runt of my litter too!" she says softly and he growls.

"what if he do-"

"i don't ever want you to say anything or think anything like this again!" he says strictly to me and i just cry, "i know your worried, i'm worried, but he will be okay, Raden!" he says, "now Nathan is stuck in the room with a bunch of crying babies so we might want to go up and help out!" he says softly to me and the woman and mum chuckles.

"i'll go up and help!" mum says and walks away.

"you got this, okay, i'll go up and help Nathan!" she says and runs her hand over my head, "if you want i'll bring my dad around tomorrow to talk to you about it, he was in a similar boat to yours!" she says and i just sob while i hold the kit to my chest, Aidans body becoming warmer by the second, "that's good too, keep him as warm as you can and it'll help him out if your still worried!" she says tapping me on the top of the head before walking away.

"i don't want him to die!" i sob with a very, very croaky voice, Aidan holds onto me tighter.

"he's not going to, he's got Alpha blood, he's strong, even if he may be the runt!" he says and i hear another crack and i begin to panick again, "he's okay, he's okay!" he repeats for me when i feel another hand on my shoulder.

"your gonna be an amazing luna one day!" the Alpha says and i just cry, hearing another crack, "take him up to the room and i'll send Jack up to look when he's come back!" he says and Aidan stands up.

"wait, careful, you can't-" i sob, "you can't be sudden, you have to be careful!" Aidan sighs at my worry.

"i'm his parent too you know!" he says and smiles down at me as i mourn a death that hasn't even happened. he leans down and kisses away my tears as he walks up the stairs and down the corridor as i begin to hear the ear piercing cries of babies, Aidan sighs and i sob again.

he opens the door and places me on my feet, the only two babies that are crying are the ones Nathan is holding, "wait, it takes longer then this tho-"

"Alpha genes!" the woman calls and i look down at the pups that haven't shifted yet, "here, give me the pup, you two shift into your wolves, Raden you take the babes from Nathan and i'll put nappies on!" she says and i shake my head, "come on, you holding him constantly isn't giving him the space he needs to stretch out his bones for the shift!" she says and i begin to cry as i place the pup in her hands. i walk over to Nathan with tearful eyes as he looks at me worriedly, looking down at the babes, they look like Aidan and Nathan.

they both shift and mum taps the bed as they both grumble, but do as told, "here you go!" she says and puts the baby beside Aidan, their crying calms to sobs as they cuddle into his thick coat, the rest go onto them both as they both look like they just got put in a classroom full of annoying children, "cheer up boys, these are your kids!" mum says and they both grumble at her.

the crying comes to a stop and i help the woman put the nappies on, "what's your name?" I ask, still crying, but trying to distract myself.

"i'm Nylin, but call me Lin!" she says and i nod, "theres still three... two pups and the runt to shift, it'll be okay, Raden!" she says as i hear an earpiercing cry from a pup, her face goes pale, but my face goes sick, i feel myself go dizzy and mum rushes over to me and takes the baby out of my arms while Aidan and Nathan stand up while i black out before hitting the floor.
