"Yes..., forever yes." Betty held out her hand and James slipped in the ring inside her finger. He felt like the happiest man on world. Perhaps even happier than the happiest man. He was living his dream. And how many people can say ' I'm living my dream'? He felt like the luckiest man.

As for Betty, her heart was getting too heavy from All that joy she carried. If you had told Betty three years ago that she was going to experience all this, she'd look the other way. But it was actually happening. She was getting married to James. And she was ready. No doubts, no sorrow, no 'what if?'

He really tried to change the ending. And Peter didn't lose Wendy.

As the crowd uploaded and the priest said "You may kiss the bride." The church bells rang.

It was done. They did it.

The darkest days were over.

James looked at his woman, dresses in a white veil and glorious golden wedding dress and staring up at him like she only sees one future and it's with him. He kissed her again, harder. "I love you so much Elisabeth Wilson, you are everything to me."

Betty was on the verge of tears. "I love you James Andrew Scott. I love you."

James is always grateful to God everyday for spearing Betty's life that dreadful day when she was covered with bullets and almost died from Inez's hatred. And now Inez is gone and buried. Death by her own hand, she died alone in her Austria apartment. Nobody claiming her body. Nobody grieving her loss, not even her father. Nobody was there. It's kinda sad to think about it, she never found anybody because she was always running. When everyone found out that she tried to murder Elisabeth and almost succeeded, they all pulled away from her. Including Adrian and Callum. She had her own baggage to carry and when she couldn't bare the weight, she dropped it and herself in the process.

William and Lucy found out about the engagement from the news and they managed to make it to the wedding. Betty and William's reunion was beautiful. They are still as inseparable as ever.

Enos was yet to accept this fate. Deep down he always believed that Betty would come back to him as she always did but this time, it wasn't happening. It was truly over. And that was a painful pill to swallow.

Betty was never reunited with her mother again nor her family. It was bitter to think that somethings will never change. But she was building her own family now and thats all that mattered.

James' father won the court case against him. Betty never got her justice. After all, you can't have everything, she told herself. Atleast he left them alone now and didn't interfere with their lives anymore. Atleast James tried his best. He hasn't yet forgiven himself for not winning Betty justice and is still trying to cope with the outcome.

They're all making peace with their past as they create a brighter future. Wounds are healing and broken bones are mending.
